Love Can Heal
The ups and downs I have been feeling
Start to spin and send me reeling
Into a state of pure confusion
Is it real or dilusssion
How you color my world with
The passion of just one kiss
Or touch of your loving hand
My heart doesn't understand
How much this emotion means
Because all its ever seen
Is heartache from other which
Turned off my hearts brightness switch
By the cheating nasty lies
They came up with to disguise
Their unfaithful hurtful ways
Leaving me alone to pay
The costly price of these actions
My love life needed some traction
To get over all the bumps
And the lonely beating thumps
I heard each day from my heart
You were the one to restart
Engines inside me so I
Could give love another try
My life is now moving forward
You made me strong--not a coward
To proceed, learning to trust
No longer about to bust
From the pain I used to know
Many saddened years ago
