Hiya! Hullo! How do you do?
Where's your husband today?
Oh, he's down with the flu
And yours? Oh, he's here
he's just gone to the loo
Nice weather we're having
and doodle-dee-doo...
(If we can't say what matters
why am I talking to you?)
My husband has cancer
my mother broke a hip
and I have mad cow-
but I can't let that slip!
Your husband is cheating
you're in quite a mess
your daughter's a truant
your boss is a pest
I just lost my job
and I needed the money
if things weren't so tragic
they might be quite funny-
For my pipes burst this morning
and my closet collapsed
and my sister just dumped
her three kids in my lap
And you've gotten hives and
your hair's falling out
and I don't even know
what we're talking about-
Oh yes, that new show
it's on channel two...
(If we can't say what matters
why am I talking to you?)
- Junior piece of acephalus
go to sleep !
"If you do not do what I tell you,
I'm going to give you serious bronchitis ...!
And if I do, I'll give you a headache.
followed by migraine ...!
your face of stroke ...!
"Father, today you're a maniac,
manic-depressive...
- I do not know bucephalus, it's this virus
that circulates around ... this one of
neurasthenia...?
"What's the matter with you, have you otitis?"
- Not father, it's because of cramps ...
- Cramps, this is your sister's thing!
- It's not that father, it was something I ate ...
- Again eating ...!
-Take this stopper, go ... and go.
sleep later ... take some tsetse flies
to the bedroom you soon sleep ....
- Dad, I'm using another method.
more natural! I loose the lambs.
who are stuck in the closet and start
to count ... and you, your constipation
How do you do ...?
"Now, you little , I use a little
of poison extracted from the Amazonian toad ...
it's shot and fall ... I die instantly,
I mean sleep instantly ...!
"And poor mother, father!"
always with their anxiolytics ...
- It's your mother always with her methods
pseudo scientists, this medicine
allopathic ... with nothing!
It's this passiflora, serene, sleep well,
all natural ... Legal is your sister,
who sleeps all night only with
the hammer I put on her head ...
- Steel hammer, father ...!?
"What, nothing, rubber hammer, these
of disassembling car body ...
- Good evening, schizophrenic father!
- Good evening your diarrhea ... or better
that scientific word dysentery ... he, he, he,
I do not know... !

Tending to my fruit stand,
another lonely day
Hoping for a customer
to happen ‘long the way
When then I saw approaching
a funny colored van
It pulled off on the shoulder,
I wondered of its plan
The back doors slowly opened
and there before my eyes
Stood a gorgeous woman
beneath these sunny skies
Her eyes were soft and sable
with hair a darker hue
She smiled and said hello to me
I said, “How do you do?”
She stood before my table,
I couldn’t help but stare
First she touched an apple,
then she touched a pear
Suddenly she shouted,
for now her hand did reach
Excitedly she questioned
“Please may I have a peach?”
All I could do was stutter,
as I could barely breathe
She took a bite and then exclaimed
“The sweetest I believe”
Then she grabbed a couple,
and walking to her van
Sat upon the rear end sill,
then patted with her hand
I stumbled there to join her,
she handed one to me
“I just adore your peaches”
“Yes ma’am, that I can see”
I sat there with her eating
and maybe I am dumb
But juice was dripping from her lip,
I brushed it with my thumb
This seemed to make her happy,
her beauty such a view
Then I could not believe my ears,
She asked, “Can I kiss you?”
Well, forget what I said earlier
the “dumb” part wasn’t right
I pressed my lips against hers
and held them there real tight
They were sweet and sticky,
delicious like the fruit
Then we separated,
she grinned and said, “You’re cute”
“I really think I love you
and will forever true”
I felt my heart just skip a beat,
“Yes ma’am, I love you too”
“I just adore your peaches,
they’re the best in all the land”
We kissed again, this time good bye,
she climbed into her van
I watched as she departed,
standing on the curb
Thinking of her kisses
and the last thing that I heard
Then felt kind of lousy
this pristine summer day
Not for what had happened,
but what I did not say
I didn’t have the heart to tell
this woman of my dreams
The fruits this day that she enjoyed
were really nectarines
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving
Be thankful every day
When meeting someone on the street
Have a pleasant word to say
A quick hello, how do you do
As you look them in the face
Doesn't matter gender, age,
Nationality or race
We're on this Earth together
We're the brotherhood of man
We're supposed to love each other
Of this mindset I'm a fan
Work to overcome all prejudice
It's a foolish waste of time
If we worked to help each other
We might do away with crime
Didn't mean to ramble so
When I started with this verse
I wrote of being thankful
For there are those who have it worse
There but for the grace of God
Could be your way to go
Don't look down on anyone
Tip your hat and say hello
I pray that your Thanksgiving
Is spent with peace and joy
I really have go for now
And find someone to annoy
Just had to add some humor
Must laugh each and every day
Love and joy is everything
Now that's all I have to say

Do you ever wander and wonder like a child at play?
Absorbing the sunshine, enjoying the day?
Follow a butterfly to see where it goes?
Talk to your Grandpa to see what he knows?
Measure an inch worm to see if its true?
Take a dogs paw and say how do you do?
Examine the trees the grass and the flowers?
Taking in Gods creation for hours.
Letting your mind free of lifes many worries.
While watching a squirrel climb a tree in a hurry.
Let go of your life for just awhile.
Go out and play and grow back your smile.
It does not matter what the neighbors say.
Enrich your life with a little child like play.

Waiting for the moon to blossom
And the stars to shine
Waiting for life to slow
To enjoy my quiet time
Waiting for its magic to bloom
The psilocybe cubensis
Should start working soon
This is it
The time has come
It's time to climb the setting sun
The rabbit has chosen to join in too
He's about to jump the blue lagoon
Fuzzy rainbows colored in pinks,
Yellows, and blues
Talking rocks and a fat racoon
What is this I see
Jumping from star to star
It's the illusive singing minotaur
Light the way beautiful one
We can wait together for the morning sun
Pillars made of liquid gold
I'm walking on invisible stones
Marshmallow mountains and laughing trees
With the sunset snuggled in right behind me
The moon pops up
Like an inflatable ballon
It winks and smiles
Then says;
'How do you do?'
Orbs of light suspended in the air
Gives way to a path that leads nowhere
Owls of wisdom speak the truth
With my rabbit friend beside me
We decide to go on through
Deeper and deeper down the path
We made it to the invisible door at last
Where's the key I asked my friend
His ear changed shape as he stuck it in
Into the hall of lights and sounds
Followed by zany creatures of cartoon Town
We passed the ball made of gas
Through another door we made a left
Back outside the moon was gone
The trip now ends
As the morning comes
One last burst on this crazy train
One last thought in my tired brain
As my fuzzy friend begins to fad
As reality begins to make a way
A thought comes to me as clear as day
What the Hell, Will I do today

For you, my dear...in hopes to blow your mind
I write, for you...might you want to find
Words of truth, love and peace...to be sincere
My thoughts in mind, my poetry...to share
To create a smile...on each reader's face
To brighten their days...by leaving my trace
To use every drop, from my own...inkwell
Hoping to catch you, lift you...'fore you fell
Love not thy words written, love...from thy heart
I leave, you, some love...by chance I part
Though, you don't know me...and I don't know you
I'm very pleased to meet you...so, how do you do
I hope that this works...and brings you a smile
Like it did to me; writing...all this while

And they lived hoppily
The princess sat along a stream,
crying in the sun
Closed her eyes and dreamt a dream,
about the perfect one
For love had never come her way,
she longed for it so much
The tender words that he might say,
a gentle caring touch
When then a frog hopped into view,
a slimy little guy
He smiled and said, “How do you do?”
A twinkle in his eye
She frowned for she was feeling bad,
not real sure what to say
Then whispered, “I am kind of sad,
but how are you today?”
He croaked an answer quietly
“I’m sad like you, as well
A handsome prince I used to be
before that witch’s spell”
“But fear not, for it could be worse,
it’s not so bad like this
The only way to break the curse
is with a princess’ kiss”
She rolled her eyes at what he said
“You must think I am daft”
Then saw the crown upon his head
and stopped before she laughed
Perhaps what he had said was true
and this could be her chance
To end this feeling, oh so blue
with a new found romance
He looked at her, tears in his eyes
Then said in sorrowed voice
“Don’t worry, I’ll just eat some flies,
it’s totally your choice”
Oh what the hell, she thought a while
this chance I shall not miss
And then he saw her gorgeous smile
as she gave him a kiss
A puff of smoke, the brightest glare,
then something did explode
And though she once was seated there,
now sat a princess toad
He never could imagine this,
his wish had just come true
When she gave him another kiss,
she felt the same way too
They fell in love, a perfect dream,
as joy now filled their eyes
And spent their days along that stream,
together catching flies
And they lived hoppily ever…
Oh wait, is that a tadpole I see?
I guess they lived VERY hoppily ever after :)
Ok, you can roll your eyes now. :)
Dear you,
the markings on my pink wall spelt us
with a pierced heart in between;
11:30pm, a black ink painted
across the letters a stroke
at a time, until they turned into a smudge
of hatred; regret; and lost love.
The pierced heart remained,
but the arrow was never that of
cupid, I realised it was
a poisoned arrow all along,
green venom dripped, jealousy, hatred
for a her I believed existed in your dreams
while you laid beside me
with your arms around my waist,
and eyes shut, you thought
of her till she became
flesh and blood, the one
who you named yours.
12am, I began to ponder
what if she never did exist,
and she never took your midnight hours
and your last name?,
streets in your head I never did cross
cos you never had my hand in yours.
It's a new day, but my thoughts are stale
'cos here I am asking if you still wanted
the heart to stay on the wall on display,
hidden behind my green curtains,
Only to be seen when I needed something
to cry about, and When the breeze blew in
swinging the curtains
to dry the tear drops falling.
I’ll ask again, do you want the heart to stay?
the heart no longer beats, but silly me, it never did,
although there was once I felt it did,
the night I pressed my trumpet ears
beneath your left breast,
it was magical, the thumps called my name,
an electric wave of an EKG bouncing till it fell flat
the moment you cut our lines, and I couldn't reach you.
Dead!, it was,
dead from the very start,
a mere marking never meant much
to you, because you weren't there when I made us
into the markings, Immortalised on my pink wall,
and now you ain't here still, when it's all gone.
part of me knew you were a fantasy
in stormy clouds, but I still dreamed,
and when that rain fell
veiling the sun that we had,
I knew it was time to let go
and free fall back to sleep
where the night mares were less,
and my bed was cold
with just my heat.
It's time to go,
it's time to let the smudge dry
with my tears of you this hour.
9am, I walk down the street
and say how do you do?
as though I never thought of you,
as though I was complete.
