Voices

I thought I heard your voice calling to me from deep within the night
Telling me how much you love me, how we would be together again soon, and all would be 
alright
I opened my eyes and you were no where in sight
I closed them quickly and held them shut tight
Hopeing for a chance that one moment to hear your voice again, I couldn't, but I tried so 
hard with all my might
There's such a connection with you and I, there always has been, and I know you feel it to
Everywhere I look, and in everything I do, it all reminds me of you
So how do you do it, I need to know
How can you let me fade away and let me, in any part of your life, just go?
Let the story of our lives together forever go untold
How can you just push me back on down
Back into your secret place and not hear the sounds
The emotions screaming so quietly and vague yet oh so loud
The moments, memories, and feelings with me however, will always be around
Might as well face it to one another you and I are definitely bound
Why do you think years ago we were brought together, letting love between us be found?
Your looking for someone you can give your heart to and keep consistently burning in your 
sensitive soul
That's why you can never completely let me go
You can never give me the words to just let me move on, but your not just trying to keep 
over me that kind of control
A part of you believes that I could very well be right in what I'm saying
You're worried about those words hurting me, but yet you're more scared that if you do that 
you may not get me back when you realize our love IS a game still very much worth playing
I know for some reason and some how
You for surely feel the same way for me now
Tell me please-
Do you hear my voice calling to you from deep within the night?
Telling you how much I love you, how we will be together again soon, and that all will be 
alright
Do you then open your eyes only to find I'm no where in sight?
Then closing them quickly again and hold them shut tight
Hopeing for the chance that one moment where you can hear my voice, and you can't, but 
you tried so hard with all your might
Well I ask you this final question then-
When will you finally once and for all admit to yourself how you truly feel and give up this 
damn fight?
