Once

Once you were here, right here,
In this bed with me.

Once I was your rock,
And you were undoubtedly mine.

Once I heard you say "I love you",
In your own special way.

Once you brought me laughter and daisies,
And your special pink lilies,
         -only you..

Once you were here...now...now..
You're not.
Not...not...not...Not here, not there,
       -not anywhere....anymore.
Ever again... never again.

But today's come, and yesterday's go,
And I still feel you in me.
I feel the sadness you bore when I put myself,
        -in your shoes.

At times I pretend I am you, maybe this way I can understand why you did what you did.

What was your why?
         -why?

Who am I to judge you,
When I've been down that rocky road.
Why December 31, 2010?
On a sorta warmish winter day.
The day you last said "I love you",
To no one else...
         -but me..
Why Me?
I was the last person to talk to you.
The last person who said our special saying,
"LU"... Love U...too..
I was the last person to hold you,
Believe in you,
And saw your hope and your hell,
          -at the same time.

I never envied you in your hell on earth.
Now I envy, that you are in heaven...
          -without me...without....

Alone.

But only you knew the pain and despair,
As a sick woman would.

Please lend me a hand during my last breath,
And pull me up so high with you,

Release me of the bondage of the flesh,
So we can finally both soar with the eagles and angels.

Once..you were where I wished you'd be here for,
A much longer time than you were.

Premium Member Almost Xanadu - Opposing

The first stanza is from my poem- Almost Xanadu

I see everything clothed in glistening sheen.
Around me, all I see is beauty and grandeur.
Heaven seems to have come down to earth.
The sky and the Earth, draped in great splendor.
Anyone who lands in this ‘Elysian Field' will loudly exclaim,
‘If there is a Paradise on Earth. it’s here, it’s here’!

I hear the howl of death and the smell of blood in the air
Monstrous shadows lurk and it's too dark to see.
No beam of light falls, this land is parched and arid.
The only sound is the cry of men who from the face of death flee.
Anyone who steps into this war-torn site will loudly declare
“If there is a hell on Earth, it is here, it is here”

One of a Kind

One of a kind
The greed of men caught my attension,
The power of money keep's me wondering,
The classification in politics makes me keep asking,
Why politics exist if can't bring peace?
The fight for freedom,
make's me keep suspecting something is wrong,
The hatred act's of men,
make's me feel uncomfortable,
The tears from the eyes of mothers,
Depress me,
The poverty in Africa,
Make's me write with a blue pen,
The disunity among the people,
Worries my soul,

One of a kind,
Why do you care,
They ask me?
I care cos humanity is,
Too less in this part of the world,
Called the third world contries,
I care cos life seem's unfair,
To many out here,
I care cos I can feel,
I guess my kind is not needed,
By paparases,
I am one that care about God and nature,
One of a kind,
In love with humans and Africa,
May be am one in a million,

One of a kind,
Don't judge me,
If you can't feel me,
Like a pain, is clear,
Like a torture, life seems unbearable,
To the people, from the third world,
Living with lack's, and wondering is ovious,
Here in the third world,

One of a kind,
I know life is far from what it is now,
Now I understand,
that greed is the root of all evil,
What is the use of life,
To live and die for nothing?
Tell me how can hope,
Be this far from the people?
Why too many promises,
Are made but never fulfilled,
Is life this difficult? To live with a truth?
What happened to the hearts of men?
What is the profit of greed?
Or is love forbidden?
I can see hell on earth,
If life of today is the true life,

One of a kind,
Like I am,
With together of my kinds,
All over the world,
To break silence,
If you can feel,
Then top up the volume of truth,
Cos that will definitely make you,
One of a kind.

Planetwide Erosion From Urban Decay

In Hope of our lives continuing.
Know this.
God knew what he was doing.
Gave us a caretaker to take care of.
A shelterer, a provider, to need.
Those poor hardworking honey bees.
Oceans, recede.
Wastelands increase.
Urban decay notwithstanding.
Grave misunderstandings.
Can't see the forest for it needs trees.
Trees that cannot leave.
Can only shelter the animals temporarily.
Then be the fuel, and not wanting this irony.
The fires of Hell on Earth, portal opening.
I disagree with this Hellmouth that's speaking Oblivion.
Time to stop the evil.
Are you with me!?
To have integrity whether new beginning or end?

Love

Love …

The power of power rests in her hands
She syndicates two together to generate voluminous.
She is so-called pressure by others for imperceptible she is, but then vintages prominence
A thin stripe divorces her from abhorrence but she outshines him
Her implication is just an approximating of salt, noted in absents
You never would make it without her in the course of the journey
She makes hard paths soft and easy to manoeuvre
The lone endorser of darlingness, understanding, and obedience in men.
Who would make it deprived of her? Even the Royals and Potentates needs her.
She is the treasures of life and the motive for living which brands living, living.
Schools, churches and homes and associates make her their goddess
The integrations of humans typically consequences due to her and in her absents wouldn’t amalgamations decease?
Hate her and lust, hate, envy then see if even a dog needs you.
Those who hates her are swim the pools of hardship and death alive.
Mighty Gods stands fr the mortals due to her soft power of uniting even the different
She has been a major reality of life and a vanguard of living for millenniums
The mighty queen of life who runs beneath hearts even of evil ones.
Only those who chose her made it and those who fail crumble in the paths of hatred lust jealousy and envy which leads to disaster
The blind one makes two different ones, one to extinguish trouble
She makes the world a better place, not for her it would have been hell on earth
The lone princess of Venus, natural love is an integral part of life.

Do Or Die Migration

do or die migration
Every one see that sea
From North Africa
Close to Europe

Every one see that sea
Close to Australia

Ever one see the little boat
Jam parked like a can of sadden
Full of people called immigrant
Where are they from ????????

Do or die migration
Let see if we know this people
Just like a reality tale
In some places
Are set of people living like
They got no help nor care
Like a hell on earth
This people have a government
This people have leaders
Hello does this ring a bell
Yet the fire of poverty keep
Burning
So frustration drive them to
The little boat jam park of sadden
Where and what is this place
Called ????????

Do or die migration
Let see if we know this place
This place this immigrant comes from
In some parts of this world
An empire show the power from
Above
In trying to create their identity
They devalue human
Devour innocent souls
The survivor now try's to migrate
Rushing to the little boat
Jam park like a sadden
What part of the world are they
From ????????

Do or die migration
I know every big shark
Will love to live in this
Part if the sea
Where day by day
Night by night
Souls drawn while
On a journey of survival
On a run to safety
What can make a human
Take this risk
Leaves me with a ???????
Question mark
Note
With a humble heart I dedicate this
Poem to the souls lost on the sea while trying to migrate to the land of safety mostly to my lost friend from Nigeria wale tunde!

Premium Member Obvious Genocide

Toys in the bloody
Dirty and occupied streets
Children are screaming.

Babies are cold dead
B 1 Planes are bombarding
Poor dead civilians!

Bloody streets
It is Hell on Earth
No Heaven.

Human beings
Are cruel and sinful
Genocide!

No Justice
No peace on poor Earth
And no love.

Dead babies
Premature angels
Where is God?

Hospitals
Many dead toddlers
And mothers.

United
Nations are guilty
Weak and poor.

Censorship
Journalists are muzzled
And killed.

Democrats
Please wake up right now
To exhale.

Jo cannot
Silence the good Poets
In action.

No conscience
No humanity
And no love.

In memorium *

He put his rifle safe,
pulled up the blanket
against the cold.The Spring
rain dripped in rivulets
down his trench wall.

The blossoms of the hops
would be just flowering
back home. He dreamed on
of the girl he met on his
last leave. In this

hell on earth, to dream
was to live, for a few
moments; to escape the
monotony of this endless
unreality. The face of

his mother, filled this dream,
Harriet was crying, whispering
her love; hopelessness had
permeated his last letter. He
awoke, suddenly with a start,

It was time; the big push
was on. The ‘final battle’
the officer had said. Perhaps
I will be on furlough for harvest,
he thought, smiling inwardly,

day-dreaming for a second
or two, he joined the line.
‘Into your hands O lord’ the
Padre’s murmured benediction
the last words, he heard.
