Love

(Verse 1)
Where are you ?
Where'd you go?
Thought we agreed to take it slow?
Tell me just how you feel
Look in the mirror
Keep it real
Look pass what you see
Tell me what'll it be
Self Esteem or Self Pride
Keep them both
Make you feel good inside

(Chorus)
Love you for who you are
It'll get you far
Can't expect for no one else
To love if you haven't completely loved yourself

(Verse 2)
I am different
I am strong
I have faith
To keep holding on
I am no longer
A reflection of my past
I am the conversation that last
When I look
I just stare
Know that my inner person is there
Look deep inside
Love you , a little more
And watch what God has in store

(Chorus)
Love you for who you are
It'll get you far
Can't expect for no one else
To love if you haven't completely loved yourself

Bridge: There's no , better you
Than the one who has the view
Stay loving you first ,please reread this verse (repeat 1x)

Alone

You have been carrying more than you ever admit
haven’t you
The quiet weight
the long nights
the way your heart keeps breaking
yet somehow keeps going

You think no one notices your trembling hands
your tired eyes
the way you hold yourself together
even when you feel close to falling apart
But I notice it
And it matters

Because the fact you are still here
means something
It means you have not given up on yourself
even on the days you swear you have

Hope is not loud
It does not burst through the door
or call your name
It is a small stubborn ember
a flicker in your chest
that refuses to go out

And it is still there
Right now
Even if you can not feel it

So breathe
Let this moment be the one
where you realise you are not broken
you are becoming
And the world has not seen
the best of you yet

Premium Member I AM THAT

THIS IS CALL I AM THAT.

AM THAT LITTLE VOICE THAT IS PLAYING WITH YOUR HEAD
I AM THAT SCARY MONSTER THAT LIVES UNDER YOUR BED.

I AM THAT STRANGE SOUND THAT WAKES YOU IN THE NIGHT
I AM THAT UNEASY FEELING WHEN YOU KNOW THINGS ARE NOT RIGHT.

I AM THAT CONSTANT PAIN THAT WILL NEVER GO AWAY
I AM THAT ONE THAT SAY NOTHING BUT IN YOUR HEAD I WILL STAY.

IM THAT ONE THAT WILL HAVE A SMILE SPREAD ACROSS MY FACE
IM THAT ONE THAT CAN SCARE YOU AND MAKE YOUR HEART RACE.

IM THAT ONE THAT IS WAITING AS THERE IS NO HURRY
IM THAT GHOST THAT WILL COME TO YOU BUT FIRST I WILL LET YOU WORRY..

                 JUST A LITTLE POEM

The Stand Part 2

This time not at the cross of Cavalry,
 But at Armageddon battlefield.

The earth will hear trumpets blow,
 And thunder roars.
They will see the sky open and is adorned
 With a majestic seven-color rainbow.

At the battlefield an obnoxious enemy awaits,
Demons, Ai’s, and humans in their millions with
Their beast, antichrist king, and satan.

On a white horse, our Savior will ride in.
With an infinity of angels and saints behind Him.

They will hear the trumpets louder,
And the tremble of the earth under their feet,
As all the angels and saints with their King,
 Come marching in.
The space will be too small as we take our stand,
From heaven above unto the battleground.

And then a great silence will fall,
 After Jesus speaks.
Satan and his two minions will be taken into captivity.
Thrown into the deep abyss, and the rest,
The birds of prey will have a feast.

Heaven with all the angels and saints will rejoice.
 Because victory belongs to Jesus.
He is the darling of us all, our King, Savior, and Emanuel.

Gees Us

I always had it in my mind to get one of those personal license plates
For many times have I opined what best reveals my personal traits
And over the past many years I had thought of more than just a few
But not one of them really endears by in turn restating what is true

Not that I am the type of person to wear such a bold constant label
So I pretty much figured it was done and this idea I would just table
And a few more years went by and with so many other things on my plate
But some of the one's I would eye I must say I would have to highly rate

But as I reclined doing fifty five watching each particular cloud in His sky
That thought again came alive yet this time I didn't even have to try
With His Name already on my lips and His Word loudly playing in my ear
I heard the Lord's little sullen quips as I so often hear loud and clear

I immediately got what was said yet so many others will miss the sign
Your soul would be dead if not for Jesus' Love, so Amazing and Divine
That deep sense of debt we should all feel and then His Glorious relief
Oh how the Lord chooses to reveal is so often determined by your belief

Dandelion Roots

She has a tumbledown deck, a creaky rocker.
Dandelion seeds carry memories
from one neglected garden patch to another.
She’s not that old, but her wine has mulled,
a hard sun has scoured her features.

There were children once. They play
now upon her mind
as crippled backwoods memories.
The ‘law’ took them, and the grinding years
brewed more bitter coffee, while on the decking
coffee cans were filled with cigarette butts.
‘No-good lovers’ still occasionally
practiced their shoddy dance steps,
but even the one night stands have dwindled
to hasty matinee tumbles.

Few life choices were well made or unpaid for,
yet in the ***-end of each day
she wanders upon her dandelion patch,
and prays to the girl she once was,
then she retires to a tousled bed
to sleep with the rootless shadows
that float as light as air
through her ramshackle nights.

Premium Member Open Your Eyes To Me O My God -Psalm 5

Open your eyes to me O my God
my cries continually are heavenly sent
you are my God King give me attention
my morning sacrifice to you have went

Lord you are truly a God of holiness
nothing unclean can stand before you
your heart hates all that's accounted evil
all liers you'll destroy this is certainly true

Your steadfast love invites me to enter
into your holy temple filled with your fear
in your righteousness lead me everlasting
show me your way no matter how dear

My enemies utter not a single truth
in their mouth, it shows an open grave
make them fall by their own deceit
their rebellions take them to a sinful cave

Those that find you as their refuge
they can rejoice to sing being sealed
with your protection spread over them
you favour the righteous in your shield

In Times Like These

when we fall down
like outcast shadows
upon the ground
... do we have the strength
to lift ourselves
to stand back up
to fight back
as we peregrinate alone
in yesterday's footsteps?

i watch the hummingbird
and find solace
in his movement
his ability to fly
in fierce winds
that knock me down

his freedom
to come and go
as i am locked
within this domicile
unable to move
with the same ease
as him

i watch the flowers
weighted down
once again with frost
as they struggle to stand
in the grasp
of the incomprehensible
frigid may air

i feel more like them
stifled with the expansion
of stale air
gasping for more
than offered
or allowed

wondering
what is to become
of that flower
if the warmth of sun
never comes again

or what will become
of you, or me
if we can never be
as we once were

are we to be
a society of shadows
forgotten in the footsteps
of yesteryears
...and blend
with darkness
forevermore

Don't Die With The Dead

Don't die with the dead
Rather be skeptical on yourself
The dead are dead, no more problems
We the living have to think deeply
The dead has no more pain, no more fear
No more suffering; they are free
Stop shedding with those tears of grief
Begin remembering them with warmth
They will stay with us in our memories
In our hearts, the joy while they're still here
Let only love remains for them
Love that is stronger than water
Stronger than storm, stronger than time
Death is not the end but a second chance
A transition that we all pass through
Live your life as they dream for you
Live as if each day is a gift God has given you.

Blessed Are the Peacemakers

Blessed are the peacemakers
A great source of joy in life
They are a great blessing
Amidst life’s battles and strife.

We have one such amongst us
Who is quite capable
To diffuse any situation
To bring peace he’s able.

He knows how to calm the rage
When anger is raging high
He brings peace and calm
When the sparks seem to fly.

His mind is all at peace
When others see red
He restores normalcy
When sanity hangs by a thread.

He devotes his life to prayer
We hold him in great admiration
The world he makes a better place
He is truly an inspiration.
