"The soul comes from without into the human body
as into a temporary abode, and it goes out of it anew ....
it passes into other habitations, for the soul is immortal."
Quote by _Ralph Waldo Emerson
Was conceived to life just an it,
I was part of God's perfect creation:
My main part was a soul that fit,
with parts of my parents contribution:
Within, a soul became my foundation,
born a girl of delight;
my family had a celebration ...
Born in falling snow- white !
Was told at Sunday church to sit,
and to listen without hesitation:
And to Roman Catholic commit,
as I grew older it was confusion:
All that talk about ever damnation,
oh, I felt quite contrite;
it all felt like a lovely delusion ...
Born in falling snow- white !
Why are we here? I said with grit,
and I started an investigation:
My computer went searching- click,
shell, with a soul of no limitation:
And with possible reincarnation,
float and drift like a kite;
die, come back, former life separation ...
Born in falling snow- white !
We should live without evil temptation,
let kindness be the light;
let souls reach far with imagination ...
Born in falling snow- white !
How full is the earth’s beauty!
And how I implore the lengthening
Of just a day; that I may bask in
That days brief eruptive flowering.'
Oh how a blemish, throws my senses reeling,
As I pulsate to the Hidden altercation,
'That holds' the core of my habitations 'way'
Eternity is of how long a span?
I know not hereof! 'yet in this
World I crave that longer day.'
Long as the scent of roses reaching,
Climbing up to a too brief climax.
In this climactic world of too brief days,
How I long to know of immortal extemporal
A sign of eternal promise to existence
Once 'pon a swirling..'
Marred in the making, you clay of Creation!
How I compare of the fleeting beauties?
Held it the grasp of a miss-formed pulsating sway
Beauty exists because of imperfect
A balance of imbalance's one may say.'
So, no existence is invalid; ugly is..'
Yet I embrace it for doth not existence validate the unseemly
And does not indeed beauty court decay!

Ash - grey chemised
she shifts her shape
as silver flakes float coat
stripped naked places,
sheath curves and angled spaces
Angry glitter tingle stings
thick earth skin with prickly flames
and rumble rise regurgitates
shimmy - shake shudders
in magma's deep thrombosis.
Her feather boa plume
tightens hot cloud chokehold,
acrid smoke flung up in air
without a care, heat exhumes
her arrival, announced fiery flounce -
Hot air blast flicks ash everywhere
Grande dame, her vital force runs hot,
and bold, red and gold- full blooded flow,
feisty fight to escape fate,
inner pulses push a violent urge
to bleed and drape red lava's cape
across green fields, human habitations
Unplacated, rising up, proud impairment
anger virulent, out of hellbent
immolation via pyramidal vent.
She lifts her tiara, red ruby globs,
hurls evidence in defense - great blobs
of royal reign - no abdication!
Throaty roars rend intonation
into screeching supplications -
She knows full well, soon enough,
her phoenix fate infarction
Too late for earth's burst heart
High drama is a living, dying art
Impassioned pleas too late for some,
Earth's burnout buries victims in her wake
High on an island hill,
the boy lay crushed, and still
on temple altar, throat cut, bled out
Hurried offering, did not appease,
nor bring softening release
for angry, ancient mountain
Head caved in by falling blocks
of measured, square cut stone,
the priest grovelled on his knees
Gravel filled their mouths, no space for pleas
No one heard half- whispered final groans
And Earth, once she settled down,
murmured not another sound

Oh Lord I am a sinfull man..Often lost not
In sync with your plans.' Yet you have taught me to try for better, life is in your spirit..Yet death it comes by the letter .' I ache
For the Ostrich farmers and their flocks I
Cry out to you Lord, this should not be their lot.! Thirty years ago it would not be
Yet today there is a paid for judiciary.'
May you part the dark clouds under your
Feet, send down like judgement poetic so
Take your due, extract as you will, these
Wasted pieces of human swill.' Make them food for the fervent worms.' Cast them down, control each twist and turn
Remove them from their habitations take
Them away, give the people new law givers who serve only in your Holy name.'
The sky turned stygian grey, violent winds blew.
From above, tears of liquid grief poured down.
Flood waters rose, pressure got built under the soil.
The earth erupted with rocks and buildings,
Coming down with a deadening sound, not once
But thrice in the wee hours of the night.
After the day’s hard toil, those who lay down to sleep,
Were swept away without a moment’s notice.
Two populous villages with hundreds of houses,
And public buildings vanished out of sight in seconds!
A landslide of horrendous magnitude came,
Shrieking like a fiendish banshee....
Sweeping away habitations and the belongings.
In the place of lush green vegetation and towering trees,
Nothing remains but a heap of rocks, stones and debris.
Their voices are forever stilled, their dreams, shattered,
Those who survived the tragedy face the greatest trauma.
With sobbing hearts and a vacant stare, they search,
For the dear ones missing, a grief hard to bear.
The sight of pet dogs sniffing for their masters
Under the slush and debris is so heartrending!
***** ***** ***** ****** *****
After two days, the pouring rain stopped, the sky became clear
Now the earth lies in dreadful silence like a graveyard.
The rubble lies heaped where homes and buildings once stood
Help is pouring in from all quarters of the country.
The initial shock has begun to wear away as reality has set in.
The dreadful numbness gives way as grief takes hold
People sober up from the initial shock and get ready
To have a foothold, knowing well that long nights are ahead.
Reeling minds with no balance, now regain some equilibrium.
With cautious steps through the ruins, they plod with resilience.
The affected people and volunteers work in unity,
To regain what has been lost, though it is a herculean task,
To darn and repair the torn land to make it fit for living.
Man has an ability to sober up and emerge like phoenix,
From the pit of ashes, healing, mending and finding his way.
Mountains,
Majestic
Mammoth
Marvelous
Mesmerizing
Mountains
Looking at them from afar
I do feel like they are giants among us
Silent giants
Sleeping giants
Sleeping, lying in wait
Eveready
To fight for us, to protect us
Us, little dwarfs, humans
Mountains
Looking at them from a close up view
I wish, I wish I could conquer them,
Climb on them and place on them, my own flag
And shout out to the world, that I have conquered those giants
Mountains,
Silent, sleeping, non moving
Stony, shapeless, ancient
Yes, ancient, bearing the imprint of the past
Of when creation was still in turmoil
Of when Mother Earth did toss and turn her spherical shape
So as to bring forth the perfect setting for life to thrive
Mountains
Monotonous yes
Mountains,
So moody, like me
Mountains, bearing the fright of doom
Falling on us, falling and drowning us in a sea of mud
Mountains,
Mysterious entities of this planet,
Mountains
Bearing the weight of my admiration
Yes, mountains, each of them do tell a story, yes
Do listen, do watch them closely,
Do read them, their slopes, their habitations
Mountains,
Being part of this world's environment
Being so unconsidered so far
But mountains
Bold and conquered by only a few
Mountains,
Powerful enough as to give us all a musky thrill!
Precious the creation of each blade of grass
with wanton destruction how long can they last
like showers carried on the cycles of wind
knowledge is traded for gold in the end
every molecule that exists is part of the whole
without his consciousness mans without soul
the threads of life display unequaled beauty
to protect and preserve is more than a duty
Guardians entrusted with care of the earth
a failure of many to see what thats worth
the voice of our actions how we are living
that is the testimony whose service we're giving
Twas Love that gave our fathers birth
that wove the filaments of our earth
who laid the circuits of our skies
with knowledge made his children wise
With careful thought designed where we would live
the precious abode that to your children give
nearly infinite the habitations given to explore
a desire within for learning so very much more
Flowers so deep in the desert blooms
small decorations in so numerous rooms
opulently have you adorned our planet
many are those who think you have not planned it
With fire and ice welded the universe
the circuits of cosmos which around us skirts
mankind has named them like their gods
false stories that each millenia frauds
each pattern contains the steps of a dance
to intricate to have arrived merely by chance
attempt we to trace the flash of beginning
seems no amount of knowledge can prevent it from ending
offered you have days of pleasure endless
infinite life and resurrection of those we miss
the very creation and its distribution of wealth
bountiful resources and with perfect health
how could I not before your promise kneel
when you have offered our beings to heal
where imperfection is turned into grace
and all of our offenses you will efface
before your people I will you extol
the first and the last who gives us control
I rest my soul in the course you have set
because my happiness you will never forget

Diminished Expectations
Everyone lives with a degree of frustrations
Although having backgrounds from different nations
Lives are destroyed by giving into temptations
As mates try rebuilding on broken foundations
Leaders lust for applause and standing ovations
While the common mans dreams are lost in translations
Children busy with visual fascinations
While parents practice their rehearsed simulations
Human predators love their killing sensations
As their victims lose their treasured habitations
And so we live with diminished expectations
Rejecting even logical explanations.
