Mountains
Mountains,
Majestic
Mammoth
Marvelous
Mesmerizing
Mountains
Looking at them from afar
I do feel like they are giants among us
Silent giants
Sleeping giants
Sleeping, lying in wait
Eveready
To fight for us, to protect us
Us, little dwarfs, humans
Mountains
Looking at them from a close up view
I wish, I wish I could conquer them,
Climb on them and place on them, my own flag
And shout out to the world, that I have conquered those giants
Mountains,
Silent, sleeping, non moving
Stony, shapeless, ancient
Yes, ancient, bearing the imprint of the past
Of when creation was still in turmoil
Of when Mother Earth did toss and turn her spherical shape
So as to bring forth the perfect setting for life to thrive
Mountains
Monotonous yes
Mountains,
So moody, like me
Mountains, bearing the fright of doom
Falling on us, falling and drowning us in a sea of mud
Mountains,
Mysterious entities of this planet,
Mountains
Bearing the weight of my admiration
Yes, mountains, each of them do tell a story, yes
Do listen, do watch them closely,
Do read them, their slopes, their habitations
Mountains,
Being part of this world's environment
Being so unconsidered so far
But mountains
Bold and conquered by only a few
Mountains,
Powerful enough as to give us all a musky thrill!
