Jordan was born with mild Cerebral Palsy,
But took part in the 2012 Paras at just 16,
Because he was born on 12th of October,
1996, and Rio was is second Paralympics.
“Even if you don’t like school, I would [def]
encourage everyone to take part [and] enjoy
sport, be it badminton, swimming, athletics
…ask others…don’t be shy, just go for it.”
Jordan made the London Paralympic finals,
But he remembers the Swansea Europeans
With great pride, because his birthplace is
Cardiff, even tho’ he trains at Loughborough.
In 2014 in Swansea he won a shining bronze,
For both his sprints - he runs in the T35 class.
In the 100 and 200 he did pride by speeding,
To the line by much strength, determination.
He says about sacrifices “I have a 300-mile
round trip from home in Cardiff to my training
camp at Loughborough twice a week, so
again, that takes some determination.” Fixity.
He feared he’d miss out on Rio’s Paralympics,
Because his groin hurt him so much, exercising,
Such that he thought he’d have to miss, bypass
The Euros in July in Italy, the entrance to Rio.
But a doctor at Nuffield Health’s Vale Hospital
Inserted a nylon mesh in Jordan’s week groin,
To reinforce it, but it is a partially dissolvable
Mesh so that he doesn’t feel it when running.
Jordan won two more bronzes in Grosseto,
In Italy in his skills, the 100 and 200 metres,
And so competed in Rio de Janeiro gallantly,
But sadly did not strike gold to top the charts.
Someone will get to have me when she realizes she wish she did,
At this point I do NOT care if it is to late for her when she realizes it,
I did what I did,
Kid or NOT,
I am getting pretty sick,
We were NOT designed to live alone,
I do NOT mess with kids,
That can be taken in more ways than one,
But I do have a heart,
I just hope that whoever gets it,
Will NOT have it stepped on again...
I am NOT looking for enemies but friends,
They are the people on whom we depend upon,
In the end I do believe that I am NOT wrong,
This is my plea, hope, and song,
I guess at this point it would be just as beneficial to hit a bong,
The gong could go off but I would NOT go for it,
I NO longer am that into meditation,
A vacation would be better,
Toes in the sand, a girl in a bikini, and a nice glass of gin,
Would keep me grinning,
At that point I would whip out my ID and say that “yes,”
In fact, my name is Glenn,
Yet call me G3,
My friends who hinted that I was too easy,
Seemed to leave me anyways but what I would have to say would be this is NOT the fin...
Imagine a man in the sky,
imagine he created you and I,
imagine he gave the world life,
imagine he saves you after you die.
Imagine his unlimited magic,
he creates the glory and love,
he creates the evil and tragic,
imagine this immortal above.
A majestic man with the ultimate power,
watching over the growth of the flower,
watching man as man builds the tower,
watching over every second and hour.
Imagine Imagine
the man you imagine
may manage to manage mankind one day,
alleviate damage and salvage the savage,
making a peace and uniting our way.
Process the notion conflict solves nothing,
making the planet a pleasure to inhabit.
This is a magnificent manifestation,
stored in your creative thought station.
So now think about this,
with openmindedness,
forget what you believe,
and set your whole mind free.
Imagination has no limits or boundaries,
you have capability to think what you please,
but for now concentrate on these,
pick one of the following ideas, I bet you do it with ease....
Believe that, that man must exist without question.
Believe that, that man must be a thing of fiction.
So, imagine the one you want to imagine,
now, in some way, it exists and it happened,
as once you imagine it, it becomes real,
and can become something all others feel.
So....
If you can dream that you can achieve,
and be everything that you want to be,
then aim for it and always believe,
don't lose focus or your energy,
you must keep your faith through the difficulties,
somedays it may feel like it's out of reach,
it is part of the route to destiny,
be sure to seek more knowledge than they teach,
over time your dreams make reality.
That thing that was once imaginary,
has now become an actuality,
and you.... yes you..... you have the ability
to be one of the few to make history.
If you've followed this all the way through,
and you are not confused,
then you are someone that I'm talking to.
Just go for it, DON'T GIVE UP, whatever you do!

Another collaboration with Justin Connor. :) It’s fun pulling people into writing gory, creepiness—and them actually not minding. At least I don’t think he minds. ;)

The ache is returning in full force
What is this horrid feeling?
And why does it leave a crooked smile on my face?
The itch is back, scratching lightly
I must satisfy the itch . . . I must
Two voices speak to me—
One telling me to spare the person’s life,
The other telling me to go for it
Pulled between these two voices
The emotions of life twisting
Lifting its ugly head at me
They don’t know I am here
Lifting my ugly head at them
Watching as they sip their drinks
Laughter toiling through my brain
Cruel laughter . . .
Why am I here?
Tell me I am not. . .
Grinded by the voices—bounded
My eyes flicker open to certainty
Then I see her
Among the rest
And the pressures of the ache grow
I am still conflicted between the two voices
But my mind always says to go for it
As if there is something I have to do
Something I need to do . . .
Failure is with us every day
telling us to go for it on fourth and one;
more and more that’s done;
we listen to failure smiling cynically
as he whispers temptations in our ears.
You’d recognize the guy,
You’ve seen him lingering near,
first cousin to Mayhem on TV,
there’s a strong family resemblance.
But forewarnings don’t enhance
self-protective good sense
for the lot of us hooked on football games
as we urge our favorites on
to one more squeeky win
as the clock runs down to zero zed.
It’s just the same with soccer fans.
C’mon man! What more do you need
to recognize Failure’s hold?
You saw the game: that field goal
that hit the pole and then bounced off
the crossbar inches short of a score
was Failure giving us, all of us, the finger.
So now you’re an Eagle fan?
Take heed, man, Failure will linger.
Can downed Eagles hibernate? Bears can!
What can i learn from you?
And if you step in my shoe?
No, that wasnt a typo, I tell you.
I essentially have only one support tool.
Though I do not mean a leg at all.
It's not that I'm too short, or tall.
But if i stand i will still fall,
So let me tell you why I built this inner wall.
Always feeling bullied, always put on display.
Usually feeling hurried, internally to say.
My mind is worried, this repeating play,
It's old, it's annoying, I want it to go away.
Go for it, tell me that it's a fault of my own design
Trust me, I've heard it before, "you always cry and whine"
"I'm tired of your mouth, go away you ugly swine!"
I've heard worse from you myself. And even more from the grape vine
So I've decided. I'm done being formal.
My mind is now one sided. I'm on display at your local mall
And this pain I've bided, Its why I have that inner protective wall
And now I am blinded, Even amidst the absolute abnormal
No matter what happens to you,
You have to be your own sunshine
machine in all that you do!
Angels will cross your path as if
from nowhere.
What a waste of time moaning
about what is gone, somewhere?
A lover left? There are billions left
on the planet.
Way better than the one who left,
who was boring and stagnant.
So much in life to cheer, yes mam,
even now!!
What you want~ create it, see its being
born before it is~ holy cow!
Go comment more, call your friends on
a real phone.
Play music, dance, do not moan!
Turn fear on its fat rear, waltz in the sun
and prance.
Dream of a glorious future and of course,
romance!
Play your sunshine machine loud and clear.
You know you are a winner.
Climb mountains, not anthills, my dear!
Go for it~ with hugs,
Panagiota

Where is it writ what I must be?
Show me the page of destiny
That shows me in the throes of catastrophe,
That avouch the failure you mark me.
I will be whatever I want to be
Feigned predestiny is absurdity.
I can plainly see where it would lead me,
But it relies on my willing authority
And that will is mine;
Not a tool for you to use to undermine
Me and my semblance of being are just fine
No grey or doubt; it is where I draw the line
And today I feel like winning,
Just like yesterday
The rain has stopped; the clouds are thinning
The sun is out, and I'm on my way
Now, let us pray—
Is something I would never say,
As if there is some higher price to pay
That allows fortune to give sway
No, no. It's quite the opposite,
And believe me, I'm on top of it
Free will, believing in myself, prerequisite;
When you next see me, it will be because, not let.
And so,
Thus forego
The waning years
Of regret—
Because we didn't believe
And didn't just go for it
Yes, it all sounds quite nice:
Hard work, determination, and sacrifice
But when we stumble and failure would suffice,
Acknowledging that something greater,
Powerful and mysterious, righted you would be nice;
There's more going on than what's before our eyes.
Take pride; be of free will and compromise
Humility takes time to realize,
And that letting go helps us stabilize
Then we might try and theorize
Where the balance of truth lies
Versus life...?
Don't waste your time—
Just go back and read
The first nine lines
‘An ember sparked will softly glow’
Nicely worded by her pen in “Cinder Girl”
Dietrich gives the heart a brilliant show
Reminding youth to be true to who you are
Ending up the lyric, “Know what you want”
Assuring them to ‘Go for it’ – be a star!
Delivering “Angels in the Rain” to us all
Including words about God’s love
Ending thoughts making one feel small
Teaching always, about hope within
Reminding us that ‘he has my heart’
In, “Love at First Sight” and I grin
Cherishing this poetess and her gift
Heaven knows how her poems do lift

What do I want to write?
I feel like I could write and write
I will write about hard
What is hard?
Is it the opposite of soft?
Or does it mean difficulties?
Whatever it is meant
I just want to tell you that
Life is not hard
It's not hard when you are struggling
It's not hard when you don't even know
Where you are going
It's not hard when the part of you say go
And another part of you say no
It's not hard when the only one left is you
Just kidding
That never happens
So why do we think it's hard?
We like to complain
We like to do the grouching and moaning
We like to say "what is it, God?"
Instead of saying "this is it, God"?
Would God ever say "this is it"?
So why do we think this is it?
It's only the next step and the next step....
for the step after
Life is beautiful
Life is full of admiration
Adoration, aspiration
Go for it
Climb higher
The step is just beyond the corner
when we actually reach something
This is paradise
Unless we didn't know
This is for you and for me
Enjoy it
The thing is right now
Right here
Do you know what thing?
