In the veil of twilight where shadows stretch,
A gentle undulation hides unknown truths,
Nestled in a silent celestial cloak,
A universal whisper, a boundless mystery.
Ethereal hues spill and slide gracefully,
Floating through the night's vault of felicity,
On a journey that steals advice from stars and lilies of cats.
A slender delay reveals its serene and fierce toughness,
Setting off under the night's brood, an arrangement worthy of artists,
Whispering ballads of sadness in a passing abyss,
A world bathed in laments, for what we lose, that flight.
At the edge of dusk, a gossamer glimmer,
The spark of love, a delicate surge of hope,
The warmth of the enchanted haven gathers peace in dance.
A burst of light will saturate the new dawn,
Reflecting over waves, it rises and radiates smiles.
Sacred silence unfurls, illuminating darkened paths,
A beloved lighthouse guides through the revealed fog.
Shadows unveil their charm, scattering their mystery
And from their depths they beckon, an invitation to delve,
To discover hidden realms, to sneak past the silk curtain.
The profound abyss of darkness, a laboratory of secretive stories,
Yet, it shelters unseen wonders in its shy alcove,
A secret nearness that glorifies the power of the noble dark.
Embrace the hidden beams in the night's corolla, a sparkle silent,
The mystery contemplates a train of fragrant thoughts to relish,
Wrap yourself in cosmic serendipity, this balm revealed.
As you peel away layer by layer, you draw closer to the secret splendor,
In the night's gloom you find philosophy, a timeless vision,
A canvas promising endless revelations, a circular epiphany,
The oil of spells, a potion calling you to adventure,
Let's travel into the unknown, together, among the stars and in a whisper.

Key Verse – Deuteronomy 27:19 … The LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

FAITH IN GOD WHO BLESSES US IN ALL THE WORK OF OUR HANDS

With faith’s enjoyment as mark of authentic redemption

With faith’s gladness exuding His graciousness
That thanks His generosity and bountifulness
Praising Him for His wondrousness.

God blesses us in our works of care
With faith’s truth while blessings we share
That exalts His goodness, heavenly fair
Thanking Him for His concern toward our welfare.

With faith’s determination without negligence
That follows His commands by our persistence

God blesses us in our works midst sacrifice
With faith’s confidence to what He can suffice

The Absence of My Sheathed Essence

I learnt a new word today.
Catatonic.
The vexatious coax of its accuracy sanctifies the burden of my reluctant existence.
The vacant faith of its salvation glorifies the redundancy of my timeworn stagnation.
The inertia of my own consciousness rouses within the weight of my repulsive apathy.
I am absent.
My reflection in the window distorts into a portal.
The pale of my skin shudders, an ashen pallet of abasing beauty.
The tremors of my skin winces, a demeaning pallet of humiliating fortune.
The curve of my lips stitch shut, a confined pallet of overflowing tincture.
The violent, lilac fuse of deprivation pounds my crimson in a bloodthirsty famine of a desperate call for condemn.
Yet, the only paragon unearthed is the vacant, potent inevitability of saturation into the voices of my own void;
I will forever remain in an absence of my own conceded mould.

Premium Member That Guiding Light

Your light shines joy through my soul
Blending hope and pleasure, pouring
Out affection onto my dreams, my peace
Echoing kindness that lives inside of me

Your light whispers a melody to my heart
Awakening the silent reveries, the mystery
That comes alive on a vision, a verse, a vine
Of pure enchantment coloring my entire life

Your light breathes inspiration through me
Painting my thoughts in tenderness and truth
Igniting a fire of passionate praise inside
Where there is assurance that you abide

Your light glorifies the work of your hands
Inspiring my heart to seek and understand
The joys of life are sent from a heavenly land
Where God brings His goodness to life within

Your light captures the stars in their twinkle
Delighting on the insights a sparkle brings down
Freeing the mind to listen to the amazing grace
That kindles true wisdom within the spirit’s inkling

Your light flows beyond the winds of change
Creating a feeling ablaze with a silent prayer
Lifted up to heaven on the wings of angels
Where a song of gladness relieves all sadness

Your light glows in the ebb and flow of love
Enlightening the heart and soul with kindness
Singing delight across the tranquil folds of hope
That bring the love of God to those who know Him

Your light penetrates the heavy darkness
With a sense of pure love that lives within
The hearts who know God’s grace and mercy
Redeeming the soul from all that is hurtful

Your light soothes, comforts and charms
Reaches through the night toward the dawn
Teaches thoughts to believe and achieve
Their greatest dreams, their hopes, their beliefs

Your light is the reason I can honestly say
Love so strong will always be, never stray
It will live on throughout eternity, infinity
Forever giving the heart that guiding light

Premium Member Do All To the Glory of God

Sin comes in many forms and ways
creeping up catching us unaware
now where does that leave smoking
up in smoke as satan lays his snare

The bible shows all's lawful but not all a help (1 Corinthians 6: 12)
our bodies are connected to Christ a member
indeed are a temple as the holy spirit lives within(1 Corinthians 6:19)
received from God belonging to His holy chamber

Christ bought you with His own blood (1 Corinthians 6: 20)
a price that glorifies God for His own
so does smoking glorify God almighty?
obviously not for Jesus is all holy alone

Idolatry is hated completely by God (1 Corinthians 10: 14)
for He seeks His own to flee
nothing is to be your own idol
even to a cig must not bow the knee

Although all things be lawful, but not for the best (1 Corinthians 10: 23)
smoking may be within law but not for your good
God wishes ' do all to the glory of God'
listen to His counsel and follow it as you should

(This is my thoughts on the question ' do you think smoking is a sin', which I do believe it is in which I have given scriptural reasons of why it is. I am not judging on this as that's left to God alone and I know some Christians do smoke and that doesn't mean they are not Christians because they do but God knows His own and enables them to do His will.)

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything."
-1 Corinthians 6: 12
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, "
1 Corinthians 6: 19
"for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."
1 Corinthians 6: 20
"Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry." -1 Corinthians 10: 14
“All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up." 1 Corinthians 10: 23

Yahweh is a Verb

Yahweh shows continuous action
If there is any fraction of our lives that needs attention
Yahweh is active, and He works in our lives

The faithful love of God the Father has no end
His Great Love covers a multitude of sins
His Love stands firm forever
Because He cares and prepares the hearts of many

Do not fear
Yahweh is faithful until the bitter end
He sent forth His Son, Jesus, who
Won the battle over death
Through Him, the breath of our existence glorifies Him
So we know that Yahweh is faithful until the bitter end

Yahweh shows continuous action
If there is any fraction of our lives that needs attention
Yahweh is active, and He works in our lives

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Going With Me

February 12 Scripture Meditations Based on Deuteronomy 31-34

Key Verse – Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR GOING WITH ME

Thank You for going with me along Your strengthening
Toward Your perfect will of great grace-dining…
Help me to hear Your voice as well as Your warning
And not to forsake You because of sinning.

Thank You for going with me along Your courage
Toward Your promised land of bountiful provision-storage…
Help me to abide in Your covenant midst worldliness’ noise barrage
And not to provoke You to anger and jealousy rage.

Thank You for going with me along Your kindness
Toward Your purposeful plan that glorifies You by Your goodness…
Help me to trust Your Word with Your faithfulness
And not to doubt You due to unbelief’s stubbornness.

Thank You for going with me along Your command
Toward Your protective security of peaceful obedience-propped demand…
Help me to follow Your instructions upon precepts’ remand
And not to rebel against You whenever my iniquities You reprimand.

Thank You for going with me along Your victory
Toward Your prevailing triumph of holy worship-glory…
Help me to esteem Your presence in telling Your Gospel story
And not to frustrate You in my vanity that brings misery.

Thank You for going with me along Your leadership-tie
Toward Your persistent compassion that keeps me as the apple of Your eye…
Help me to delight in Your care as You move me to faith-high
And not to displease You with my deceit and lie.

Grace upon grace
His light pours out joy
Across the mind, the soul
Awakening the feelings, the faith
That breathes inspiration
Into the pores of laughter

Hope upon hope
His courage whispers art
Flaming roses and feathery
Promises, alive with pearls
Of music, melodies
Alive in the spirit, sensing
The elation with Him

Faith upon faith
His song glorifies heaven
Like a chorus to the psalms
Full of miracles, wonders
Like shadows fading into the sun
Shining with exhilaration
Rays of kisses
Soothing like prayers

Love upon love
Wispy pleas for glorious
Moments falling down around
The hearts who are blessed
With aliveness, worshiping
God, His fire flaming through
Spirits who know Him
His grace, His hope, His faith
His love poured out across
The soul of those who know
He is e v e r y t h i n g – and more!

Premium Member Shakespeare Be Damned

I’m sick of wanderin’ o’er the page
In search of distant, mystic sage

muttered manta that confuse
stupefy my stoic muse

torment the silence of the keys
while in the distance Shakespeare flees

to curse his feather blotted ink
his red, red rose now turning pink

yet still I sit behind the veil
challenge him and always fail

there are those who disagree
some say he wasn’t one, but three

conspiring in mock defiance
of poetry’s inane compliance

counting syllables and rhymes
that challenged then, the present times

and yet I steal a line or two
in vain attempt to make it new

to think, somehow, it glorifies
the master when I plagiarize
