Your light shines joy through my soul
Blending hope and pleasure, pouring
Out affection onto my dreams, my peace
Echoing kindness that lives inside of me
Your light whispers a melody to my heart
Awakening the silent reveries, the mystery
That comes alive on a vision, a verse, a vine
Of pure enchantment coloring my entire life
Your light breathes inspiration through me
Painting my thoughts in tenderness and truth
Igniting a fire of passionate praise inside
Where there is assurance that you abide
Your light glorifies the work of your hands
Inspiring my heart to seek and understand
The joys of life are sent from a heavenly land
Where God brings His goodness to life within
Your light captures the stars in their twinkle
Delighting on the insights a sparkle brings down
Freeing the mind to listen to the amazing grace
That kindles true wisdom within the spirit’s inkling
Your light flows beyond the winds of change
Creating a feeling ablaze with a silent prayer
Lifted up to heaven on the wings of angels
Where a song of gladness relieves all sadness
Your light glows in the ebb and flow of love
Enlightening the heart and soul with kindness
Singing delight across the tranquil folds of hope
That bring the love of God to those who know Him
Your light penetrates the heavy darkness
With a sense of pure love that lives within
The hearts who know God’s grace and mercy
Redeeming the soul from all that is hurtful
Your light soothes, comforts and charms
Reaches through the night toward the dawn
Teaches thoughts to believe and achieve
Their greatest dreams, their hopes, their beliefs
Your light is the reason I can honestly say
Love so strong will always be, never stray
It will live on throughout eternity, infinity
Forever giving the heart that guiding light
