Basking Robins and Droning Wasps

Late afternoon October 15th, 2022
a spring like day
witnessed nature in surround sound,
whereby reflection spurred
reminiscence about similar weather
a few years ago when...

Serious intent to read
latest issue of TIME magazine
found attention pleasantly distracted,
when I became keenly aware
of flora and fauna bursting,

blooming, buzzing, and twittering
oblivious to yours truly sitting stock still
in folding lawn chair
marveling at each budding
natural born architect and engineer

each respective constituent
living organism engrossed
delicate as deft potters crafting chinaware
observing good and
plenti hive nesting reverential species
trumpeting suave and donning debonair

without any pretentious fanfare
merely obedient to genetic coded wear,
exclusive domain glorified, ordained,
and sanctified by divine imprimatur
contemplating if despair

experienced by coterie of biosphere
not including *****sapiens,
and/or aghast that their extinction
dooms them to disappear,
which undeserved fate unfair

for innocent animals and plants
critically contributing as
unique vital gadgeteer
linkedin to significant role
evolution indiscriminately licensed

met with preserved concord, versus mutineer
extant among bipedal hominids
each and every simian forebear
generally recent primate ancestors,
whose short lifespans predated medicare,

but more particularly modern man/woman,
who flagrantly extracted precious
minerals, plundered mountains,
usurped possibly, sans sadling muleteer

and/or forced chaingang extruded
raw materials to concoct wear
able, munitions, disposable,
and most importantly

deadly ordnance for bloody warfare,
never quenching thirst for mortal Kombat,
nor scooping up riches galore,
no matter wealthy status equals bajillionaire!

Try Again

There at first and almost lost forever
Months go by in our quiet endeavor

Generally independent, insignificant, and alone
Until you walked into my life and a star shone

Deep thoughts and conversations we spoke
Now feelings arising impatient to invoke

Act now before you lose her forever!
I couldn't ever forgive myself --- never!

Holding you close in the warm rain
Emotions exploding like a turbo freight train

Hands gripped around your waist I stand proud
Body beautifully shaped and chest very well-endowed

Want to try everything intimate with you
But wonder if you believe that it is true?

Kissing your sweet full lips against mine
Wondering when we'll find the time

Wondering if you feel just as true?
And wondering if you want to start anew?

Yearning for the first day you'll be naked by my side
And within your heart, body, and soul I will confide

Sharing the thoughts and saying those words
Flooded emotion washing through my nerves

I want to be with you and try again
But scared to death that I will not win...

Premium Member Colors of Land and Life

In the colorful region of America where I was born and raised, the colors of the rainbow were the same as elsewhere, and they amazed us always.
The number of beautiful rainbow colors is said to be between five and seven. Scotty saw red, orange, and blue; green, yellow and indigo were seen by
Stephen. The American flag on a white pole also flew with stars and stripes of red, white, and blue. There was never the lack of colors, but the rain showers
and cool breezes were often overdue. Many winters brought us snowflakes that were clean, cold, eatable and white like all the rest. The magnolias were lively and stunning, and weeping willow trees were simply priceless. The colorful features of people were mostly shades of red, brown, black, and white. But there was something about the social ways and mores that wasn't quite right. The human psyche was consumed with complex ideas centered around color, it seemed.

Caterpillars and other earth moving equipment were orange. Combines, cotton pickers, and tractors were mostly red, but the John Deeres were all green. There were other vehicles that followed, but I shall never forget my father's blue pickup truck. Dad often took us riding all over the countryside, giving us another view of the mire and the muck. On most days the sun was bright and hot as fire, and by sunset, it cooled and turned reddish orange. But for miles and miles from spring through summer, there were green fields of coveted cotton.

Come Fall, those same green fields of cotton, whose leaves were caused to fall, turned white. And also by then, the fields were dominated by brown, as the bean, corn, hay, and wheat were harvested.

When I pause to reflect on bygone years, I recall that there was some dismay and people generally had their say. The skies were mostly blue and earth colors mostly green, but people were real with very few areas of gray.

Grandpa the Master Magician

Grandpa the Master Magician

Grandpa was old and creaked
like a well-worn floorboard
but he always carried a smile with him
which generally won the day or the situation.
He had just spent time with his two grandchildren
which had added fun to his morning’s recipe.
They saw Grandpa as this master magician
capable of producing an egg from either nostril
..…. boiled or not.
An eggcellent start to any day!!

Later, on an icicle of an afternoon
and confronted by a presumptuous wind
which blew him around street corners;
he found himself happily chasing his youth.
Newspaper and chocolate treat acquired
he set off for the finishing line of home.
He noted that the traffic lights were changing to red!
So, although not at the proper crossing, his GPS
i.e. Grandpa’s Priority Selector
was saying…GO! GO! GO!
However so was a fast-approaching Fiat 500!

Grandpa felt validated by time and experience so..
he sailed forth but time and his knees didn’t agree.
His legs instead of speeding up, started slowing down
which was the exact opposite of the flying Fiat,
driven ruthlessly by a manic-panicked driver
who exaggerated a swerve around Grandpa
with arms orchestrating her extremely annoyed thoughts.

Grandpa tottered on oblivious to the orchestrations.
He felt composed being lean, leathery and learned
as opposed to the driver’s ill-fed, ill-bred, ill-mannered approach.
However Grandpa, the master magician, wasn’t to be thwarted
so as his feet touched pavement, his hand touched cap,
then his winning smile and a flicked wave of politeness.
The driver just continued with her orchestration of
Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony in C Minor
while mouthing, “Is your brain on holiday!”

However life was to offer Granpa a final judgement
for as the traffic lights winked from red to green
our driver was still in a boil of botheration until…
a honk of reprimand from behind grabbed her attention.
Frustrated she tried to floor the accelerator pedal
but only succeeded in stalling the engine.
The horn hoots and toots began queuing up
until the Fiat 500 burnt rubber and swivel-hipped away.

Grandpa’s face showed not a flicker of amusement
but he allowed his bones to enjoy the moment -
particularly the funny one!
Then the wind giggled up, clapped him on the back
and then kindly blew him gently home!

Premium Member Below a Douglas Fir

Below a Douglas Fir tree one beautiful moonlit night
I sat there with my Missy as we viewed a lovely sight

The aurora borealis was lighting up the sky
Then something to my right suddenly caught my eye

A gem from outer space tore across the cobalt blue
Leaving behind a trail a quite spectacular view

Two in trapped capture witnessing a shooting star
We wonder where it came from, out there from afar

We sat there for ages chatting about the sight we seen
Phenomena such as this are generally seen in dreams

Below the Douglas Fir tree that beautiful moonlit night
We marvelled at it's arrival as it disappears from sight

Nature

O nature there is only your sphere everywhere.......
We here sometimes your thunder and sometimes your murmur.
All of your things you generally offer to human;
morning, afternoon and evening;
God gives us you as boon.
But.......to harm nature people never demure......
When God has made the trees to shade for the people and home for their tiny creature......
then people are there........who started to cut off trees for their convenience.
Hence....... nowadays the fatality aware us to keep this pittance of God wonderfully.
But the stubborn nature of human towards their mother nature will be snatched by the god forever.........
O nature you are our mother.....how much you suffer.

Once upon the start of time,
Universal Space was permaculturally natural systemic
intelligence
information--
Positively radiant development
of nondual co-gravitating systemic memory capacity,
progenerically,
pregeneratively,
birth-bang Father Solar System
revolving Mother Earth,
their swirling twisting revolutionary prime relationship
diastolically reflected in Grandmother Moon's
monthly periods of fertile gravitational light
and dark newly dissonant transitions.

YangSun radiates Yin's EarthTribal Skins,
breeding hydrogen and oxygen,
and that whole tribal table of
ecological economic transactional cooperation,
air and water and soil and fire
and synergetic love-chemistry sets
of live-systems,
evolving and absorbing reverse-evil non-paradigms
of generally dissonant and yet prime-consonant negentropy,
and the rest,
as we often say,
is justice enculturating and in-forming history;

Of poly-cultural evolution and development,
in-carnation and meta-systemic karma,
of enthymematically rooted stimulus and response communication,
of Yang greets Yin
meets bi-rooting Yang
greets binomial Yin
meets binary balanced Yang;

+/(-)(-)0Bit-monomial Time
balancing
Permaculturating
Universal Systemic Well-Being Relationship.

So, if don't nobody bring me no bad news,
we can live cooperatively and peacefully ever after,
with emerging proclivities toward warm glowing campfires
under the stars
reflecting sacred burning bushes
dreaming bicamerally balancing minds.

Many Vanished Pleasures of Life

Many vanished pleasures of Life

How simple and beautiful was life
Many man decades ago,
When wonders of today had not touched
The peace corners of our minds.

When travelling on foots and horses
Was a passion of both men and women
Whether they were young or old
Or they were moving in a caravan.

When reading and writing, painting and music
And even carving on stone, used to give us
The most serene and lofty pleasures of life
When love and hatred too were there in life
But they generally never used to enter
In the sublime chambers of our hearts and soul.

When simplicity of life,
was a passion for attaining objectives of life, and
To achieve the highest goals and ambitions,
without sacrificing our thoughts and visions
What a beautiful life it was
When people had time for listening
The music and tunes of others, as well,
While playing their own to win some hearts.

May be there was lack of many amenities of life
However, unlike today,
we had sincere and dependable friends
to share our thoughts.

Premium Member Never Say Never

So many words come from our mouth
even sentences some of them so long
but it's generally so easy so to speak
joining words so much like singing a song

But sometimes we speak the word never
promising never to do or say something
we're mere humans who can't keep a promise
so often feel helpless can't do anything

It's a wise thing to never say never
for we are prone to fall in its a trap
you'll be reminded by someone often
never say never before you're given a rap

But no doubt as a human you'll regret
these occasions your tongue lets you down
you hate yourself getting mad within
so silly for you look a real clown

Imprint it fully on your mind
as hard as you can don't ever
the consequences of this happening
so be in charge 'don't ever say never'!
