Iron is just awesome – let’s see!

First it was prehistoric man
Who was always an iron fan

Iron is a third of the earth
Industry is iron by birth

Pritchard designed and Darby made
Iconic Iron Bridge won’t fade

Smelt pig iron from iron ore
Produces cast iron galore

Backbone of skyscrapers, bridges
Organs of cars, washers, fridges

Clever Bessemer carbon gone
Heralded steel for everyone

Mankind’s most ingenious feat
Turning raw earth to steel – so neat!

Iron’s compounds are versatile
No wonder it’s used all the while

Inks, fertilisers, pesticides
Paints, enamels and more besides

Many iron phrases pervade
Each as an English language aid

There’s ironclad, iron curtain
Iron grip and more for certain

We need it in a small amount
For on haemoglobin we count

Open your eyes and look around
Everywhere an iron surround

Iron has magnetic appeal
First place must be iron with steel

Premium Member Tender line

Dear tender line,
(crystal pyramid-hearted)
This king's chamber is empty
my queen's is filled with flowers.

Like a child with a bubble ring,
your essence blowing rainbows lovingly...
but long to arrive too soon gone
beautified in its diamond-studded brevity.

If not in this tasseled lifetime,
for certain in the next.
Hand to hand-mind to mind
soul to soul, halting time.

For now, about we splash in word puddles.
Two shivering chalk children
huddling in cold cyber rain.

We sit in a valley of three-leaf clover dreams...
I'm sorry for the charade and deceit.
Dear tender line.

Interface and Dynamics -Come-on Ya'll

Domeosapia: a condition due to capasity and volume.
A constant surge where a tour is targeted to be made famous by the dates and times, where they are seen to be in the fans favor.
***********An Example..... They saw it fit, after research to find facts had mislead them into beleiving certain contest were meant for certain audeinces and not for others. They re-evaluated there assesment by taking a chance to do daytime shows to create a libary. The recorded show would be taped during the day. in small areanase of daytime could create the content to either be veiwed and mixed with a live show.
In the creation of this product it could help future generations compare and prosper. That nothing is guareented but, the chance to create and discover could allow the cultural side of belonging to create: rejuvanate and cause the need for Pride. Days together where people can interact. Where stars can have words never before spoken. And the people to people aspect could bring about positive storys and conditions.
Just think it could both create new fans and support the days of those who are in need . People with specail care can come out and be a part of the specticaul. Just a great time.
It's all in what we want: until the storm comes along and changes everything you know. It's great for humans to use all time to worship God through human activity. A shrimp and steak with cheesey grits, don't sound bad for lunch at the Matches.
We got the resources and the People, we need to just activate our togetherness mode. And go out and have a real good time!

Near Bad Lauterberg, 1982

It was the sign that stopped us
And then we saw the stone
Dedicated to an escapee
Who had died there alone.
We read the inscription
All the time being aware
Guards in the tower watched
 Every move we made there

Halte Hier Grenze!
(Stop this is the Border)
The sign displayed
To avoid any possible disorder.
Behind the wire were the mines
Then the strip, totally bare of green,
Raked and swept twice a day
So new foot prints can be seen.

In full view of all
The observation towers
Directly in line with the stone
And commemoration flowers.
He is standing there watching us
Bins lens reflecting glare of the sun,
Slung over his shoulder
His loaded automatic gun.

Is he the one who shot the man to
Stop the attempted freedom bid;
If it wasn’t him for certain
One of his colleagues did.
Halte Hier Grenze
What was it all about
Not to stop people going in
But to stop them getting out.

Such a state of desparation
That so many did their best,
And so many failed and died
Just to live in the West.
We took the mandatory photo
And then we didn’t linger,
Just turned our backs and walked
After giving him the finger.

Redemption Shoestring

Redemption from self
An invisibility cloak
And sharpened dagger
No matter the tumultuous weather
Hail , Thunderous, Lightning
Could tame
The pain never stop's
Even if you stare at the tulips and the corn crops
Because redemption never forgot
It feeds off the rotten
Poem's and curses
No human Doctors nor Nurses
Can say for certain drug's will cure
Whether Pious or Impure
There is no cure for the Sinner or Flesh
Only a departure notice
From this world to the next
Will connect the dot's
And answer the questions
We feared to ask
Because if we knew
Everything life put us through
Was all in vain
What was the point of all the pain
And suffering discussion
What is right
And what is wrong
And why did I forsake
And mistake
The gift
I held without knowing
Each and every day
Was more precious than the last
I wish I had never past
I wish I miss
I was
For a second
Remembered

Premium Member The Dirty Dingo

*Warning High Fiber Content*

There is a place in the outback up high on a hill,
a little brown shack, where the Dingo gets his fill.
It’s a place for the locals who eat bratwurst and beans,
a favorite spot for the Dingo which nobody cleans.

The view is breathtaking and so is the smell,
he goes there every night and thinks no one can tell.
He hides in the shadows of the little brown shack,
at a quarter to twelve, he goes in for a snack.

During the day he also goes there to think,
he puts on perfume but he can’t hide the stink.
There is one thing for certain, he is not hard to find,
he’ll be sitting on the biffy, just clearing his mind.

Premium Member Damn Itch

Ever had a really bad itch
And you scratch and scratch away
Till the spot that you've been scratching
Looks much like paper mache

Sometimes you can't even find the spot
You search around but it's fruitless
Seems the damn thing keeps moving
Dance a jig but you still remain clueless

I'm sure it happens to every one of us
From Nature's bag of devious tricks
People go through a bunch of contortions
Even throw down whiskey for a fix

Here's what I would suggest, my friends
Tumble in bed with a gorgeous filly
Damn itch will seem much less important
And you'll get some relieve temporarily

There's one thing that's for certain, though
It'll return just as soon as you're done
You'll still have this annoying problem
But let's face it, you sure had some fun!

Mister Hermit

One day he quietly walked away
At the apex of gleaming gadgets, he said, "Good day."

So long to 'Fake Book', 'Instant Grams', 'Flip Flop', and 'Bitter.'
My, oh my! The rumors that rang out about him being a quitter

But I ask, is quitting so bad?
We're often taught that it is, and this is what is so sad

Karmic lessons being taught
Mister Hermit is learning and peace is being sought

He's abstaining and retaining
Now, glorious gifts he's obtaining

Back to the basics reuniting with foundational bliss
Embracing mother nature, peace, and a celestial kiss

Off the 'Grid, Mister Hermit goes
Where that is, nobody knows

One could speculate this or maybe that
But one thing is for certain: his life and peace he begat

Premium Member The Witch's Car

Once I had a little car.
I loved her oh so much,
But she was murdered by a man,
Who drove a big Dodge truck.

I looked around and finally found,
A car to take her place.
Who knew behind her pretty face,
The engine'd been laid waste.

She coughed and choked and gagged until,
She spit up chunks of carbon.
My husband bought her anyway.
He said that could be pardoned.

He said it was a minor thing.
He'd fix it right away.
It turned into a major bill,
That wouldn't go away.

It spent more time in the garage,
Than it did on the road,
And we were told to sell it soon,
For soon we'd need it towed.

Whoever'd worked under the hood,
For certain must be manic,
For from the looks of things in there,
He was no mechanic.

I felt so down, I'd spent so much,
This thing could not be worse.
I felt for sure that in this car,
I drove under some curse.

The ties broke as I drove it home.
I went right in the ditch.
I swear before we bought this car,
It was owned by a witch.

Actually what happened when the ties broke I was driving home on the back roads to keep it out of trouble. Suddenly the steering went all weird on me and I jumped a ditch and took out about 100yds. of some poor farmer's fence, barely missed runnning over a dog and finally made it home dragging about half a mile of barbed wire tangled under the car.
That tore it.
I didn't want that car anymore and refused to drive it again.Couldn't anyway. The ties were gone.
