Mister Hermit
One day he quietly walked away
At the apex of gleaming gadgets, he said, "Good day."
So long to 'Fake Book', 'Instant Grams', 'Flip Flop', and 'Bitter.'
My, oh my! The rumors that rang out about him being a quitter
But I ask, is quitting so bad?
We're often taught that it is, and this is what is so sad
Karmic lessons being taught
Mister Hermit is learning and peace is being sought
He's abstaining and retaining
Now, glorious gifts he's obtaining
Back to the basics reuniting with foundational bliss
Embracing mother nature, peace, and a celestial kiss
Off the 'Grid, Mister Hermit goes
Where that is, nobody knows
One could speculate this or maybe that
But one thing is for certain: his life and peace he begat
