Take time to look at the world
enjoy the miracle of life
despite the chaos and confusion
you need to put that aside
it truly is a good time to be alive
~~~breathe deeply~~~
you should spread love and kindness
goodwill towards fellow man
acknowledge today
don't look back to yesterday
or worry about the future
~~~breathe deeply~~~
appreciate all that you have
don't get caught up in anxieties
or let your mind travel
down that road
focus on the positive
~~~breathe deeply~~~
leave fear and panic behind
do things that will enrich you
move forward be positive
be progressive
leave negativity behind
~~~breathe deeply~~~
A friend or foe
A friend or foe.
Tina was organizing her stuff. She was supposed to meet with the professor exactly two minutes ago. She drafted her outline of the content to be discussed precisely. Now she needs to merge with her timing before it is too late.
The cell phone vibrated with the usual ringtone. An unknown number.
“Are you Reza’s mom?”
“Yes.”
“This is his teacher, calling from the school.”
“ Yeah, please tell me…”
“Reza is deteriorating with his performance. We would like to meet both parents to discuss his progress. Since you are not available locally, do you think you will attend a virtual session?”
“Sure. I will be happy to.”
“Please, let me know a suitable time when it is possible.”
“Sure…um, let me talk to his father.”
Tina tried to get Minhaz. Three consecutive times. With a long pause of ongoing ringtones, no response.
A separated couple has too many loosely based dysfunctionality, in fixing priorities, in fixing purpose of meaning, when to talk and how to talk.
Tina was struggling before… Tina is struggling with the aftermath too.
“Sorry, missed your call. Anything urgent? Please text me.”
Tina is truly annoyed. She is now getting really late for meeting her professor. A meeting about the trend of pedagogy in language acquisition and about the crisis in the young generation. A meeting bearing much importance for her future motivation.
She tried to be precise.
He tried to be precise too.
“I do not feel any need of yours to be present. It is better to attend an on-site meet-up. I will be there. That should be enough."
“Reza is lacking something….either motivation, or focus, do you not understand? Let me be there.”
“ I understand. You don’t.”
He finished his sentence with a coldness.
“Pedagogy of language acquisition and crisis in language loss.”
Tina's title of the deliverable.
She needed to make up for the wasted time.
She needed to make up to make her presentable as well.
Not all tears are too personal to decipher.
Between a friend or foe.
...and then darkness fell through a rocky bottom
of lost innocence in the light of waning truths
an aperture tore away the veil of discomfort
tranquil as if nothing had happened at all
shutters gathered speed at fast click
exposed a lens out of immanent focus
yearned for reflection and solutions
counted images’ framed encounters
a flash escaped a dew shield of tears
mounted a memory in black and white
fielded depth on the surface of images
transcended shades reason feelings
time warps of poignant recollections
rearranged an impermanent future
like poetry in constant motion
the photo knows no secrets ...
Miracles can happen
Not in the absence of shadows, but in defiance of them.
If you believe, you will break that yoke;
The iron collar of doubt will shatter in your hands
And fall to dust at the feet of your resolve.
Just believe you can do it.
When the page you’re on is soaked with ink and sorrow,
Remember: there is always another page to flip to.
Your story is not finished while your breath still writes it.
When one door is closed, bolted by rejection or delay,
Another stands ajar, waiting for your courage to push it open.
Trust the unseen hand that carves paths through walls.
Focus let distraction starve.
Have vision see the summit before your feet have climbed it.
The One above, enthroned beyond the galaxies,
Has numbered your tears and catalogued your prayers.
He will make your dreams come true,
Not because you are flawless, but because you are His.
Remember: dreams die to resurrect.
They are buried in winter soil only to rise as spring.
Faith can move mountains
And yours is the faith that tells the mountain, “Be thou removed,”
And watches it tremble.
So don’t look down at the valley of past failures.
Look up. Aim high.
The sky is not the limit; it is the invitation.
You’re a winner not by chance, but by design.
You’re a warrior scarred, but standing.
You’re a champion crowned before the battle, not after.
Believe you can do it.
Believe you can climb high, though the wind howls and the slope steepens.
You were born to be a victor; defeat is a foreign language in your blood.
Yes, there are those who will pull you down,
Who mock your gait and scorn your climb,
Who drain your energy with barbed tongues and hollow laughter.
Be strong.
Do not answer them ascend over them.
Use their stones as step ladders.
Let their doubt become the mortar for your monument.
When your knees buckle, let belief be your spine.
When your voice shakes, let faith be your anthem.
The world may count you out,
But heaven has already counted you in.
So rise.
Breathe fire into your lungs.
Lift your eyes to the hills, for your help comes from there.
Believe.
And watch the impossible bow to the power of your “yes.”
The lines in my eyes are red-rimmed in sweat
Burning is the sensation of this melting intellect
Focus has abandoned to an easier place to think
Unmanned in disaster melted skin turning pink
The ringing in my ears compromises my own thought
Unable to pay attention to who, when, where, or what
Overwhelming my existence, won't follow my own path
Nothing seems to add up I just can't do the math
Lines crack beside the crow's feet of my eyes
Belief is beginning to feel like the Devil in denial
The sands never fall up just down to time one's death
The water is rising under the bubbles of my last breath

When you live your life being grateful
For each and every moment of your life
It can make you see things differently
Even on the hard days and times of strife
When you focus on your life's worries
and those things in life that you fear
Then those are exactly the things in life
that you will be drawing near
But when you focus on making your life
the way you truly want it to be
It can be created by showing love
and by doing it gratefully
Through this life of love and gratitude
You can find true happiness within
And then the life you've always desired
will become real and then finally begin.
Doubts are really Fear
When I think a lot I become susceptible to everyone
So to cure such ideas comes a time of your life that you can realize
Each style, each movement, and most of all each ideas are simplicity
Everyone loves things easy and most of all less time
For the moment that t I think it is all over
Thinking about things becomes more so as Doubts
And doubts leads to fear
Like this I come upon a valley full of different creatures
As I have doubts I fear all these creatures
Slithering, growling, howling, and snapping
It is more so fear is the other side’s point of views
I come to a stop in the that moment thinking
What is more afraid me or the other creatures in the valley?
When I come upon a break a river flows so wide, yet I see
All different creatures drinking at the same time
I see one common purpose of life is to keep alive
No matter what, through rough times, through starvation
Or even to just briefly set aside meaningless arguments to just take a drink
Fear is just a state that many ideas flow into the mind
That makes the mind is less focus about the reality
Love is everywhere not just inside because, it is within everyone
That is why it is everywhere
I do think, because a teacher only thinks for the better not less nor greater
Because teachers are not to instill doubts, they instill knowledge and wisdom
These interesting concept is always push aside because faith is lost
My eyes are open to all fear and doubts and never is closed if so I am not human
My teaching is my poetry sadness of all stories; I come around to say words
Words of life, clear everything, and put aside judgment, and tell you and me
That safe thoughts are empty thoughts and it can get filled but just to remember
Poor it out once in while
Like fear and doubts is the same way
To everyone who knows such values can be in grace within self
“death approaches but we have no regret ~
when God questions us, we will stand erect”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our claim to fame is the flame they acclaim,
No other tongue can sing our triumphs better—let’s not bung ours.
The choice to rise as best each hour is ours to take,
There is no shame in how we play the game;
Once our name is known, their proud tongues will tame.
Sing your praises, and the world will string the chorus.
To reach the peak is no mere freak, it takes God’s grace and focus.
Claim each victory, let silence flee as we free our wings,
Our voices hold the miracles that open deaf ears—
If only we believe, for silence brings no relief.
Prayer alone can never balance the equation.
So let’s pray with zeal and work with steel, no one can steal grace.
Pray as though only prayer will be enough,
Work as though only work will be enough.
Balance the scale with wisdom and guidance to God’s kingdom.
So when death dares to knock upon our door,
Our name shall be carved in the stone of posterity.
We will not tremble nor bow our heads in coward’s dread;
The brave die once, but cowards die again and again—
The grave dyes only flesh, not the spirit of valiant men.
And if in heaven we plant our feet at last,
To every question, our mouths will answer steadfast—
Our spine erect, proud of a world well lived,
That the afterworld may be richly spent with full intent.
But if, perchance, we fall from heaven’s embrace,
Earth’s fleeting pleasures will serve as our reprieve.
NOW WHIZ THE MOMENT TO PREPARE TO SCRUTINIZE
MY WRITTEN ATTEMPT AND HOPE MY OFFERTORY
DISTINCT FROM OTHER GALS N GUYS.
thankful to enjoy genesis of thoughts
from whence doth spring germ
of an idea, that either takes root
(exhibiting potential to live with
arms strong) when just a tender
vulnerable shoot (ephemeral as notes
issuing from a magic flute)
within fifty plus shades of gray matter
per this fifty plus year ole coot?
This need dull in haste tack
search for source that gave rise
per process to enable *****sapiens
to think doth nag horse sense
of this poet as he initially digs shallow,
yet sometimes forced to spelunk
into crawl space narrow and shallow,
or shine laser focus into a chasm
teetering on brink (hunting down
gamesome elusive dodging catlike whims)
out pace readied whorled wide net
to capture alive agile rat fink unseen
quiet as a mouse notion gives hardy fellow
(quite a chase) scurrying thru micro
cosmic burrow of Manhattan skyscrapers
at a blink, said quarry vanishes
without a trace just as quick mental cogs
and wheels generated riveting link
connecting bot sized tinker toys pinging
within cerebral cortex appearing random
as nonsequiturs conscious kinks via
distracting ability to latch onto awesome
fleeting mindspace inducing minor frustration
at lack of ability to nab (albeit painlessly)
zinc shimmering insight cognizant ability
likened to ode to Grecian urn vase frieze
depicting ever closely captured thought
process, cuz lifespan shorter than a wink
king third eye blind comfortably numb beatle browser.
When trying to grasp thoughts through our mind’s haze,
It’s like trying to escape a thought maze.
As the bits and pieces accumulate,
How will they connect, how will they relate?
We try to relate them to things we know.
Each thought should be placed right where it should go.
So many topics to assimilate,
We constantly add and have to update.
Without clear focus they may lose their flow,
By first burning to bright then losing their glow.
Without definition, they will not last,
Some good ideas will drift to the past.
Give each thought it’s time, make sure it’s defined,
It will be its best when finely refined.
