Tim had entered the state of a corpse while
the chorus assaulting his purulent soul festered
Callouses on his corpus callosum pretended
there was no connection just chaos exhumed
Corpuscles splattered astray ice in his vessels
in the same vein of demise as so often before
He stood at the pons dissected in cerebellar
disconnection nauseous detached from brain’s stem
A sequence of rapid succession seceded left overs
Hailstorms of concussion hailed hell freezing over
Snow gathered fast only that the crystals were black
Thunder and lightning electrocuted his passions
A squall out of nowhere invited rapidly raging squalor
Violent tempest arrested in sunken emotions
Blistering blizzards invaded the shelter of survival
Flooded with emptiness he crouched in the corner
of his neuro-toxified mind complicit of oblivion
He had tried the loneliness of a desolate desert
but then sand storms seeped through his pores
poured increasing abrasions towards ashes from dust
A vicious assault broke all defences’ containment
as he listened to the dispatch of an exploding skull
Caustic corrosion dangled from sockets of blinding sight
Tim attempted to drown himself at the oasis only
to find the mirage dispersing convoluted conclusion
But whirl winds returned him to the point of departure
He lingered at the crux of pontificated bridges
crucifix in hand and resolved to jump from the past
Ready to escape from judgement he stumbled and
fortunately the overpass had collapsed due to the storms
Faced with the murky slate of destruction he
gathered the debris and waited for fate to abate

(Today is Tata MANDELA’S birthday. Freedom lovers all over South Africa are celebrating his legacy of Compassionate Love. I wrote this poem on his birthday when he was still alive. I am so grateful that I was humbled to serve in his government whilst he was President of the First National Democratic Government in South Africa.
At the time I wrote it, I was living opposite a pine forest. )
MANDELA’S BIRTHDAY POEM
All is radiantly translucent
Drops of water sit in
Silence on trees in sunshine
Aloe reflect themselves
In flooded ponds
Tasks are listed
Pines reach for the sky
Where clouds ripple lace across
A stretched out blueness
Dogs bark
Workers to work
Students to school
Earth holds us
in the full Awareness
of our own power to
Change !
Happy Birthday
Cherished leader

Alone in the night
A memory stood
Naked and cold and veiled
Fueled by the lie
Of destiny robbed
A ghost of itself
In hopelessness wailed
.
In fear the memory, frozen;
Heard a call from deep in the night
Apprehensive heart flooded with passion
A rhapsody to run to the light
The dirge of sorrow subsiding
With dawn overtaking the night
.
The substance of hope now rekindled
Evidence undeterred yet unseen
The call of the fathers resembled
The one forming and coming to be
The groan of creation upon it
Made by the Son to be free
.
The chains of religion now broken
The shackles of fear dissolved
Windows of Heaven reopened
Overwhelmed by the power of Love
.
Strength made perfect in weakness
Basked in the glow of the call
Gates of hell lying in ruins
With Grace overtaking the wall
Fear and hate shamed and defeated
And Life freely offered to all
There were clouds from the sky
To be a little darker then before
Some thoughts in sacrifice to deny
The ever mist in darken haze to recall
And the walked path was an unsheltered one
He who bears the weight of unnoticed vapour
Should be realized to have unflustered thoughts come undone
For he who thinks will thoughts be flooded lesser!
That be pure and impure to see
For a path of evil may well be a course to undertake
To understand the substances of purity
To then walk perhaps the dream-fill path in wake
As the rain becomes heavier in turn
It only meant for the routes be harder to view
To be drench toward a point of no-return
Guess not the unseen road but be sure of surreal!
Mayhaps an after-rain be of rain an after
To share the affair and to embrace as one… the unknown
And to walk is the path already be taken forever
Yet the rain, hasn’t me to recall of those being shown
MISSED HER PERIOD
SO she called at dawn
By then I was around cloud nine in a certain lovely lawn
Her groans and tears were so loud to make me vacate sleep
When my eyes opened, From arm's length her emotions were so deep
So I asked, 'what are you doing here? It's late'
'I missed my period' she categorically did state
What? I fearfully asked
She said ' I couldn't menstruate
''I used to flow at least every day
But it's been week since my ink felt paper''
My eyes became flooded
Her emotions got her impregnated
I starved her of my contraceptive hands
Whiles I watched her in her idle state with my naked eyes
Now, She's missed her period.
She wanted to abort
But I said no to that future effort
So she was delivered of that beautiful baby
Invested me with an additional responsibility
My lexicon I ought to increase
For my words ought to be enough,
To satisfy both her and her baby.
Upon the eve of dying
she could not speak.
And all her opened tear ducts
Sprang awake
And flooded forth from
The founts of creation
A new sea.
Oh, yes!
She cried a sea of tears
Because her words
Had passed the door of possibility,
Because her boys
Would not be there
For her to comfort them,
Because, perhaps
A whole life
Needed to be grieved.
How I loved her.
She could hear the simple, humble things
That no-one else could hear,
That I would trust none other
Than her heart to listen to.
It was like having my own wise, quiet mom, again.
And now on the eve of dying,
Now she cries,
And the seas are flooded with light,
And her form rises lightly
From her bed,
And she is gone
- Except, perhaps, for a single tear
Based on Psalms 6 and 51
Examine my heart, o Lord
For Thou know the secrets of my heart,
And rebuke me not in Thine anger
As I sinned against Thee and my neighbour.
I pray for Thy boundless mercy,
Because of my afflicted soul
My body might be clean
But my heart stains with my iniquities still.
I am overwhelmed with grief and sorrow,
As my tears have flooded my bed
My loved ones and friends stand aloof from my plague
And my foes has seen me crushed still.
O Lord, my God, hear my grieving cry
Hear my supplications to Thee
Forsake me not, my Heavenly Father
Examine and heal my heart, o Lord.
Once there was a dishwasher leak
That went on and on for a week
It flooded the clean floor
Sorrow ran in the door
The situation looked so bleak
The pit bull bit the wife when she hand fed
Naughty devil in disguise watched as she bled
Now the old husband is retired
He is caught in the line of fire
Dish washer with apron he has been lead
He called the repair man in secret
He whispered as it was the bleakest
Get the parts sent by air express
Get here so fast speed in excess
As he whispered this is so freakish
My dishwasher is leaking a river when it drains so we are having to hand wash dishes
until the repair man can get parts to fix it..The dog bit my hand and I have an open wound which doesn't need to be in dish water. I asked the retired husband to help. He told me he was going to call the repair man and tell him to have those parts delivered by air express..Then he said I kind of like doing this and I am good at it so I think I will apply for a job doing it for pay..LOL>>ROTFL
A COLLABORATED LOVE
AMBER love in SILENT mode flickering
ready to rush on green zest and zeal.
LOVE COMES HERE to hear
pulsation of whispering beats of wobbling heart.
LOVE IS WHERE, THERE IS CARING FAITH
on every breath
CARESSING charm of unison
in touch, in feeling and in vision.
LOVE COMMITTED GRACE in elegance,
WHEN WE COME TOGETHER ON A CHANCE
Your alluring glances
flooded my blood, may be perchance.
WRITING THIS LOVE LETTER
on juxtaposition of love and letters.
Words or syllables if not to be voiced,
may be rejoiced on sending errand.
LETS US WRITE TOGETHER an ode to love
in amorous flow,
in glorious glow.
Two hearts to perforate
LETS US ELABORATE
SHALL WE? WE WILL COLLABORATE
Love verse in rhythmic RHYMES
FOR ALL TIMES
oozing from chasm of mind
cascading in opulence.

Your love for me was read in your eyes,
But was it not merely my reflection, gazing within myself?
The symphony of your gaze, a labyrinth of intertwined illusions and realities,
A game of shadows and lights where our hearts met in silence.
The mirror of light deepened in your irises, an unfinished poem,
Folded in the blood of time, flowing through the veins of the soul,
Each sparkle, a lost star in the constellation of the unknown,
Your gaze, an enigma, a portal to the abyss of my desires.
In the flow of consciousness, I find myself dancing on the edge of this dream,
Where the boundaries of reality dissolve into an infinite ocean,
Looking into your eyes, I believed I saw your love,
But I lost myself in my own reflection, a specter of unspoken words.
Your love, a wave that flooded my soul,
But could this wave be just the shadow of a deep internal cry,
Could that emotion be real or merely a projection of my untamed desires?
In your eyes, I sought an eternal truth, but found only my reflection,
A distorted image of what I wished to be.
Under the chiaroscuro light of the stars, I always wonder,
If your love was ever mine or just an echo,
An ancient song resonating from the depths of my being,
Your gaze, a lantern in the night, guiding my steps toward the unknown.
I stood on the edge of the chasm between dream and reality,
Where illusions merge with the tangible world,
Seeking answers in the depths of your eyes,
But what I found was merely my own reflection, an unfinished puzzle.
I looked at you as a map of all my hidden secrets,
Each smile, a direction toward my heart,
But in this labyrinth of emotions, I lost myself,
Always returning to the starting point, to my own self.
I turn my gaze to the starry sky, seeking solace,
But the answers never come from outside,
In your eyes, I saw a universe, but it was merely my reflection,
My gaze, deepened in the mystery of my own existence.
And thus, shrouded in the mist of melancholy,
I realize that your love was never yours,
But just a part of me, reflected in the depths of your eyes,
A beautiful dream, a fantasy in which I chose to lose myself,
Flying among the stars, searching without finding,
Always at crossroads, always returning to oneself.
