March 2 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Deuteronomy 8-10
Key Verse – Deuteronomy 8:1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.
HEART THAT OBSERVES THE COMMANDS OF THE LORD
Our heart observes the commands of the Lord gratefully
According to His Word surely
Against thinking of evil foolishly
So that we will not displease Him, but follow Him willingly.
Our heart observes the commands of the Lord concerning our worship
According to His compassion within His offered relationship
Against indulging in worldly, earthly and carnal friendship
So that we will not hurt Him, but abide in His fellowship.
Our heart observes the commands of the Lord about our spirituality
According to His sovereignty of omniscient authority
Against backsliding because of iniquity
So that we will not disobey Him, but trust His precepts’ infallibility.
Our heart observes the commands of the Lord regarding my virtuous servitude
According to His example of submissive attitude

So that we will not dishonor Him, but show Him our gratitude.

According to His standards vanquishing compromises’ woe
Against slowing down then falling because of sorrow…

When I think of You and all You’ve done, my heart overflows, my soul is won. I couldn’t fathom a life without You, for You are my faithful friend, so true.
Through every trial, every storm I face, You’re there beside me, in every place. Your love and guidance, a constant embrace, I am forever grateful for Your grace.
No one can compare to You, my Lord, in Your presence, I am restored. Your faithfulness knows no end, You are my rock, my eternal friend.
When darkness surrounds, You bring the light, guiding me through each day and night. In Your arms, I find solace and peace, a love that never fades, it will never cease.
You are the anchor that keeps me secure, in Your presence, my heart is pure. I am lost without You, my Savior, my King, to You, my praises I will forever sing.
No words can express the depth of Your love, a love that reaches down from heaven above. I am forever grateful, forever in awe, for You, my Lord, are the one I adore.
So I lift my voice in worship and praise, honoring You, my God, all of my days. No one can compare to You, it’s true, I am forever grateful for all You do.

It would be so wonderful
to break into the impenetrable heart of Irene
who opposes my advance and feels serene;
what is the reason for her resistance?
Am I not what she expects in essence,
or even a liar so deceitful?
No woman's hand I have touched
and smeared it with any impurity,
I have always loved passionately;
given all and proud of what I did!
To break into the impenetrable heart of Irene
is harder than convincing a drunken fool to believe in dreams;
I didn't ask for loneliness and stare at a clock that gleams...
I should have listened to the advice of Josephine!
Why is there a reminder of Ruth,
of that affair that ended in August;
is it anger or distrust...
if I have clearly led out
my intentions and plans
on the platter of simple truth?
ah, my many attempts
have not been worth it!
To break into the impenetrable heart of Irene,
one must be rich and willing to buy her precious diamonds;
sadly, she has traded money for faithfulness;
I often wonder if she misses my touch in a sensual scene!

Thank You for stretching out Yor arm to protect me greatly

With Your commandments that instruct me constantly.
Lord God, You are my Inheritance, as You manifest to me for Your miracles
Thank You for teaching me to fight by faith my flesh-tentacles
Let me abide in Your strength away from worldly spectacles
With Your provisions of goodness assured by Your truth’s oracles.

I am like buttered toast
Where sometimes I get extra butter
The contest I offer
Seems to be the deciding factor.
If I don't run a contest,
I have to do at least 30 comments
To get just one comment back
Sometimes this I just can't hack
I have a few other poets
Who drop by to say hello
Rarely do I get soupmail
Unless a contest I throw
Or
Maybe if I see a mistake
Another poet has made
And I use soupmail just
To let them know

I ask you, what does that mean?
That might mean more to you than some of the penning done on here.
I also know that this probably isn't free verse but some poor prose, but I felt like it needed to be said from my point of view.
I might get some criticism and some harsh remarks but at least I've said what I have been thinking and it comes from my heart.
I've been waking up with a bitter taste in my mouth
What's it all about
As I arrived news my head is facing south
Vertical swirling vertigo head spinning
Lucifer's grinning but I never thought that but I gasp as I relax
Cause in the sweet, now is where my head at
On the sweet what relief, my joy witness
While in my conscious state I gravitate
My heart's reply keeps beating blood flows round (blood pressure up)
And as I settle down, emotions sounds
I acknowledge with faithfulness how grateful I am
Cause in the sweetnow is where my head's at
On the sweet what release much relief my joy is at
And I am found worshiping
And I am round encouraging
Cause in the sweet I will greet Christ, God and His Angel
I may even see some of my family members
Unless we will meet and greet they all together finally at the retreat
Glorious Gathering in the sweet
Now I am complete for I am in the sweet
