Speak to me of love
and I will share the passion of my heart.
Speak to me of hope
and I will tell of scenes my dreams impart.
Speak to me of faith
and I will tell of that to which I cling.
Speak to me of joy
and I will share the secret song I sing. ---
Deep within my heart you'll find
a place that doubt does not possess.
So entrenched in hope and love
sustained by truth and faithfulness.
Every thought of you repeats
creating echoes in my mind.
Waiting patiently for you
to seek the treasures that you'll find.
Locked behind a tempted tongue
now silent for so very long.
Waiting quietly for you
to share with me my secret song.
Watching as you haunt my days
and nighttime dreamscapes that I see.
Dreams that I would share with you
if you would only speak to me.
