And so I write…
not for the clamor of being known,
but to keep vigil with what will not be spoken—
those hushed and hollowed spaces
where sorrow gathers like dusk,
unannounced,
unwilling to depart.
I write
to lay gentle witness upon the wound,
to trace its sacred fracture
without flinching from its remembering,
to press my spirit against its quiet architecture
and learn the shape of what endured me.
I write
to consecrate both the breaking and the becoming—
to name the wisdom buried in ruin,
the strange and steadfast grace
that lingers in the aftermath of undoing.
And if truth be told—
I write to recall myself
from the far edges of forgetting.
To gather the scattered fragments of breath and being
and speak them, softly, back into form.
For even here—
in the most forsaken hollows of the soul,
where light feels like a long-abandoned language—
something remains.
Not loud, nor luminous at first glance,
but patient…
and unextinguished.
A quiet and unyielding ember,
veiled beneath the ash of all that was lost,
waiting not for rescue,
but for recognition.
Something that, against all undoing,
still inclines itself skyward—
still remembers the sun
as if it had never been forgotten.
And so I write—
to bear witness to that remembering,
to call it gently by its true name,
to follow its faint and faithful rise
until it becomes light again.
Island of fantasy
No swim wear on Bikini Island after all those testing years
waiting for the hidden radiance to…stop this is reality
I need to escape from where into what or do I when
one flash and blip in the history of time and my projections…
So here it is the nude beach stripped from another reality
granting a moment here or then stranded in magic another truth
in the loops and coconuts circuiting in the mind grapes hanging low
sweet and sour Me Robin’s son Friday or not…forever and another splendour
Essence food and shelter in abundance too much too plenty so
I’d rather bring a friend my lover soul-mate curvaceous sparkling
inspiration expiration joined in motion rhythm rhyme sequential
horizontal upright teasing poet tree in motion exploding fusing solitude
Cinnamon bark and musky flavour salt of the ocean chilli peppers
soul on soul skin on skin soul on skin intermingling penetration
of ideas creation words artistic dependent independent work in progress
giving taking heading truthful tongues lips balsam for the sun and tanning life
Books and poetry are also intimate wise companions mentors faithful fellow friendly
fire water earth and aerial dreams conjectures built up climax rest regeneration
and I suppose we like to write our own of rainbows thunder lightning comets
starlight moonshine distant proximity close by far away lands in kindness loving
Lotus flowers in perfusion fragrant storms meditating torrents stillness for
the mediation stories lived experience speaking hearing narrative exploration
where they rest on beauty interwoven follicles frolicking whims of nature nurtures
exude petals inner peace and outer seminal gentle epitome of sensual wisdom reason
But wait...why search on other ocean’s tide lines why run away from what there is
the island carol coral reefs and rainy forest dew in sunshine sweet perfume of life...
the envelope of brightness togetherness carnal mingling intellectual fulfilment
is here right here when we beam out from fantasy and run from insular fight or flight

Alone, there I stood by the bench in the park.
On a leash by my side, my protective young hound.
In the distance I heard the echo of whispers;
As a dark hooded figure approached in a cloak.
She stopped and looked at me this beautiful maiden.
Rose like lips smiled gently, against skin bright and fair.
She took down her hood, released hair long and fair;
I offered my hand and on bench did we park.
We looked at the stars appearing so maiden;
As we talked of our youths and her company I did hound.
Then the moon cast its shadows and darkness did cloak;
Whilst trees bustled, rustling, the night timely whispers.
As we cuddled up close, to get warm friendly whispers;
It grew colder, I gave my jacket and said it wasn't fair.
So we got up to leave and she bunched up her cloak;
We walked to the car to the place I did park.
In the back did we place my faithful friend hound,
And we drove into the night on our journey so maiden.
We drove and we drove till the dawn arrived maiden.
To the rustling chorus of natures whispers;
And a fox searching for breakfast did stalk and did hound;
Saw chickens, roosters and hens such a fair!
In burrowed field did monstrous combine park,
Whilst autumn leaves rained tumbling natures cloak.
We went to my home and and we hung up the cloak.
Then I partook a chance to kiss the hand of my maiden.
While we spoke of the night at the park.
We enfolded ourselves to bodily whispers;
And I nestled amongst all of hair fair;
But when in heat of moment the barks of my hound.
A knock on wall from angry neighbors, please shut up the hound.
So I fed him, watered and let him outside; around me her cloak.
Then returned to my angel so beautifully fair,
Her skin looked so radiant my heavenly maiden;
That I caressed it so longingly, with gentle whispers,
Then stopped and remembered the leash in the park.
Then cursing the hound; I tell the dear maiden.
Dressed quickly, coats, cloak; and I love you whispers.
She tells me not fair, and we go to the park!!!
Childhood
As I close my eyes and drift back in time
The thoughts of being young come to mind
When I was four, people were as tall as trees
Looking ahead, all I saw was knuckles and knees
When I was five, my first baseball glove
Seven was holding hands with my very first love
Eight I can remember my close friends
Family gatherings with most of my kin
Ten I remember the girl of my dreams
Childhood pranks and boyhood schemes
Eleven I crashed my faithful Schwinn bike
At twelve, a black eye from my very first fight
When fifteen came around, timed passed way too slow
Sixteen, I had my license and was on the go
Seventeen came, and High School ended
Joined the military as I intended
Youth has passed, and now I'm much older
Blood is thin, and I feel much colder
But I enjoy the thoughts of my past childhood
Go back in a second if only I could
But realizing this, the thoughts bring a smile
From the time long ago when I was a child
If I wish to return to those childhood days
Only in mind to be stored away
Close your eyes and return back then
The closet of time holds within
A time you once had and will always be
Thoughts of youth are what you'll see.

Hope you weep some more
You’re the one I don’t adore
Let your moth wings soar
Faithful hope in store
Been on meds since forevermore
Cut down to the core
I could’ve sworn - I swore
You’re the one that’s an open
Corridor...ashore...
I could’ve sworn - I swore
You’re not with me anymore
What you waiting for?
You bore me, so torn
You read me like some word ****
So forlorn...unborn...
Where you been once more?
Again, change is your hard chore
Answer left ignored...
Fallen deeper...deep
Oh, lacrimosa weeper
Here, I weep so steep
I reap what I sow
I grow fervently, you know?
Let wicked wind blow
GOD be praised and thanked for His Word*
We acknowledge as Spirit’s sword
declaring “Thus saith the Lord…
The Bible --- Scriptures of grace-ford!
Assuring soul's great salvation
God's Word anchors our redemption
As well as sanctification
Enabling our transformation!
Always at work in fellowship
With the Lord's truth-braced leadership
Gearing our faithful stewardship
And triumphant praise-filled worship!
Indeed working for reaching-out
While sharing Gospel without doubt
Illumining for heaven's route
Midst joyous hallelujah shout!
*Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Lucy’s earthly journey ended
and she is now in Pet Heaven,
just a mere five years old, but she left a hole the size of the Grand Canyon
in the heart of a blue-eyed earth angel.
Karyn waited at the big gate for her,
arms open wide,
tears streaming down her cheeks.
Her sister’s, Lulu — her beloved dog —
took her final breath,
wrapped safely in her mother’s arms.
No longer in pain, she runs free,
leaping, playing, without a care,
feasting on delights without end —
her bowl always full for the taking.
No more belly aches, no rushing to the vet —
just boundless joy and endless peace.
Yet her brown eyes soften for a moment,
looking down on her human mother and brother,
their love still tethered to her soul.
But then — a familiar face appears —
Kaia, her Newfoundland big sister, comes bounding near,
welcoming her with licks and happy yelps,
running circles around an angel —
an angel with brown hair and warm brown eyes.
Karyn smiles through her tears,
opening her arms wide once more.
And softly she whispers,
“They are safe with me, my sister.
I will watch over them,
just as you watched over them — and me.
Sleep in peace,
knowing we will all be together one day,
completing the circle,
as written in the stars.”
Then Lucy pipes up,
“Leave my favourite window open, Mom.
That is where you will find me when you need me.”

January 10 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 28-30
Key Verse – Genesis 28:3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY FRUITFULNESS-MULTIPLIER
Lord God, You are my fruitfulness-Multiplier, giving me Your blessing
Thank You for reaching down to me with the love You’re expressing…
I obey You, striving to present unto You a life that’s pleasing
Please keep me in Your care while toward You I’m always arising.
Lord God, You are my fruitfulness-Multiplier, calling me to bear Your name
Thank You for enveloping me with Your peace-flame…
I vow unto You, promising my all despite my limited frame
Please set me in Your pillar, guarded from worldly game of shame.
Lord God, You are my fruitfulness-Multiplier, accompanying me in my journey
Thank You for rolling Your tender mercies along my heart so stony…
I need You to water me in my dryness when days are very sunny
Please nourish me to increase my faith that’s tiny.
Lord God, You are my fruitfulness-Multiplier, bestowing me Your kindness
Thank You for favouring me by Your beautifying righteousness…
I abide in Your sweet embrace of loving graciousness
Please settle me inside Your fulfilling goodness.
Lord God, You are my fruitfulness-Multiplier, looking upon me in my affliction
Thank You for enabling me to follow Your direction…
I hear You, attentively listening to Your instruction
Please enclose me in Your will where I praise You with my devotion.
Lord God, You are my fruitfulness-Multiplier, prevailing over my futility
Thank You for hearkening to my requests implored with sincerity…
I serve You joyously since You are my supreme Authority
Please remember me in Your compassion’s bounty.
Lord God, You are my fruitfulness-Multiplier, rewarding my honest service
Thank You for strengthening me with Your faithful promise…
I esteem You while I learn by experience Your miracle-working expertise
Please shut me in Your presence always so I can excel in ministerial office.

Heart and art are very closely aligned
My heartbeat accelerates when I view
The artist's canvas so carefully primed
Renaissance art drives emotions askew
Breathless admiration, Caravaggio
Not one brushstroke out of faithful place
His art is verbal, painful to behold
Whom did he owe his mighty talent to?
Time has not managed his art to erase
Agony and pain on canvas unfold.
Duomo is silent the shade quite profound
Atmosphere intense with shadows of past
My footsteps ring clear when walking around
Time's worth never lost in shade of years cast
Painting sublime not aged in any way
Breathless eyes water: pain beyond measure
Years recede quickly as I contemplate
Impossible, to tear oneself away
Intense quick moment at one with treasure
Transformed in instant as I concentrate.
Votive light flickering a special place
Dancing shadows across the chapel floor
Caravaggio's art won't be erased
His art is eternal he does endure
Renaissance allure always immortal
One look, so undone, my emotions flayed
Tears flow freely at splendid endeavour
As I am whisked through times open portal
The painting ignites prayer so I prayed
My empathic feeling never severed.

Connecting Meditation: The Hidden Flame
Now let us enter the deeper silence.
Here, the night teaches,
the wounds shine,
and the smallest life becomes a mirror of the divine.
Walk barefoot among the mysteries,
let your heart pour into the world,
and let God’s quiet fire
warm even the coldest sorrow.
Connecting Meditation: The Shepherd’s Way
And now, let us bend toward the world once more,
where the weary come, where the faint-hearted calls.
Here, the faithful soul carries nothing but presence,
and offers every wound,
every sigh, every trembling secret,
as a vessel for Love.
Let us be gentle, yet steady;
let our hearts move without clinging;
let our hands reach without pause;
let our voices whisper the eternal Word.
Closing Meditation: Breath of Grace
And now, let all this settle in the heart.
We have walked from selflessness,
through fire and flame,
to the quiet fold of mercy.
Let us carry this light into the world,
let it fall like dew,
soft and steady,
unseen but everywhere.
Love without self.
Serve without pause.
Be present without end.
And in all things,
let the Spirit move gently,
and let the soul rest
In the borrowed words of grace.
