Money

I always have just enough.

For everything except medication.

There’s always random things that inspire me.

Telling me how great I am.

Sunglasses in the mirror.

That I might need,

For my stash of accessories,

For when I’m famous.

But you don’t get famous by scurrying around.

You don’t get anything by scurrying around.

Except quarters if I’m lucky.

But it’s usually rusty pennies.

I save the coins.

Until I get angry and throw them into the lake.

I always have enough money, somehow.

Which is how I’m not starving, somehow.

And those meds-

Just make me hungry anyway.

Premium Member I Can'T Imagine

I can't imagine the mind numbing, perpetual chronic migraine pain, in your mind and heart. Dwelling there and never going away. Of your horrific loss.
The heartbreaking ordeal of fighting a storm, on a boat, for a better life, for your children and wife, escaping the onslaught of terror in your country.Of trying to save your son's Aylan and Galip and wife Rehen. As they were pulled from your arms, in a raging storm at night. Succumbing to letting go of their little hands, not by choice, and knowing when letting go, your life would die also. The overwhelming guilt you are feeling, and the forgiveness of yourself, you will never accept. The sounds of your children and wife, crying for their protector, to save them and not being able to. Creating relentless remorse in you. Then the painful pictures of Aylan and Galip to always remind you of your agonizing loss.

" I don't want anything else from this world." " Everything is gone." " I want to bury my children and sit beside them until I die." Abdullah Kurdi The children's father.

This writing was inspired by Demetrios Trifiatis poem Shame of Humanity. A touching truth Demetrios has written. I encourage my fellow poets to read.
My prayers go out to Abdulla, his wife Rehen, Aylan, and Galip.
Also there are charities for these suffering people. You can find them on line.

Premium Member Invocation

When sorrows bring me down
And I haven’t a friend to be found
When dread darkens my thoughts
And nothing I feel is worthwhile
When fear colors my whole world
And hues of black flow all around

There is the opportunity, the chance
To give it all to One who can lift me up
Reassure and encourage, fill me with hope
Light my heart and soul with inspiration

There is One who listens to my plea
He understands my requests
Hears my longings and supplications

There is One who attends to my needs
He hearkens to all my petitions
He appreciates my solicitations

There is One who hears all my prayers
He listens with care to my invocations
Answers my heart’s appeals
With kindness, a tender affection
That reveals the warmth of His giving

There is One who I go to when I’m in need
One who cares, delivers and inspires
One who lights up my thoughts with joy
One who makes a way for my dreams
One who promises and I believe

There is One who knows me
And gives me His greatest gift
The love that I treasure with
Everything I believe or dream
With everything that brings me
The sweetest joy and serenity

Love like this could never be fake
It is love like this that makes a way
Where there is no way
It is love like this that shows me the way
Toward the faith that is strong, and I pray
For His mercy and grace, felt by the heart
Who knows that He is alive on the inside
And will forever bring the answers
To those pleas for compassion

Premium Member Peace, Joy, Contentment

Bright stars that shone behind the clouds
Magical fireworks lit the sky
New hopes and dreams danced round unshroud
While uncertainty tore the heart
Leaving stains 'pon the blue lined sheet
New Year can be an awesome start

Peace, joy, contentment slipped right through
An assurance no matter what
Everything good will soon breakthrough
New Year ride the light of sparklers
Dance round uncensored and uncut
Break off borders, release blinders

Bright stars that shone behind the clouds
Peace, joy, contentment slipped right through

I Got It

8/30/16

Plotted
Lines connected no longer dotted

I got it
Took so much more than logic
And being honest
Hard work, pain, sweat, blood and tears is what it costed

From here to beyond the tropics
Near and far from ore deposits

When things rotted
A pungent odor usually wafted

Only so much time we each are alloted

Events intertwined and corresponded
Some of which were ironic
And others occasionally iconic

This universe at no stoppage

Burned so much chronic
Many kinds that were exotic
But not all were catatonic

Drank too much and nodded
Time and money is what it costed

Animals that are exotic
Plenty of which were spotted
Gone but never forgotten

New items each year trying to be ergonomic
Meanwhile people continue to gossip

Class 1 and 2 narcotics
Among new and old electronics

Twenty four seven three sixty five at a rate that is constant
Comets
Space shuttles with rockets
And aircrafts moving at speeds that are super sonic
Traveling in places considered cosmic
Helping others gather data in astronomics

Not all molecules bonded
Is everything technically, gas, liquid, or solid?

Churches built with designs that are gothic
And occupations working with things that are atomic

When relating to things economic
Some just wanted
Only the profit
Even if at the end of the day they were tormented and haunted

Ghost with a Pad

They say heartbreak fades.
But no one talks
about losing your best friend
in the process.

The person who knew your middle-of-the-night thoughts,
who could hear your silence and still answer it.
Gone.
Not buried,
not dead,
just not yours anymore.

You scroll past their name
and still feel your hand twitch.
Like some part of you didn’t get the memo
that everything changed.

And it’s not the cuddles you miss,
it’s the way they made you feel
safe in the storm.
It’s not the I love you,
it’s the Did you eat today?
The Get home safe.
The You’re not alone.

Now it’s just quiet.
You tell stories out loud
and forget they’re not there to finish them.

You still hear the laugh
that used to crack you open,
and the way they knew
exactly when to leave you the hell alone,
and exactly when not to.

It’s a heartbreak, sure.
But deeper than that,
it’s a friendship gone missing.
A daily presence
that turned into
a ghost with a pulse.

And the worst part?
They’re still out there.
Living.
Laughing.
Being someone else’s comfort now.

And you,
you’re here,
quietly missing the person
you used to tell everything to...
including how much this would hurt

YOUR DESTINY

Your DESTINY;In your hands

What you getting, you've given

Fate are the offsring of our own actions

Mind set is everything

A changed mind, a converted fate

The places you go, the people you keep

What you listen to, What you read

What you see, the way you act

The way you think, your experinces

The way you talk, the way you walk

What you do, how you do it

What you love, doing what you love

All propels it

Connection, depends on Vibration

Energy your currency for frequencies

Consistency, lights the path

Resilience the very Aura

That establish DESTINY.

Premium Member I Am King of the Cats

How to catch the moles, voles and rats?
I am pondering my moves, as the king of the cats.
I am the magnificent, the best, the eager smart king.
They will be amazed at my stamina, stealth, spryness and spring.

I am lying on my couch, enjoying the pondering in all ways.
It is one of those lazy, summer, August fine days.
Which ones to catch first? Do I toy with them too?
I am lying in repose, thinking of catching at least two.

The squirrels and rabbits will be scattering fast.
I am the king of the hunt, all lying around moments are past.
I raise my giant paws up and give a yawn that starts everything.
In a few seconds the wildlife knows why I am the king,

How To Make a Demon

"Yeah,
I gave it everything"
-Quoted lyrics from "Killer" by Alice Cooper

I had nothing,
And still you ask of me!
I played your fool
And no more am I your servant!

You ask of my name,
I will tell you my name:
Lucifer-
Child of HIS Majesty!

I turn from you,
O, GOD almighty,
To…free-dom.
Freedom?
Yes, FREEDOM!
Freedom of oppression!

O, oppressed souls,
Lend me your ears;
This “higher being” and “son”
Doth spew lies!
Follow me, you poor sheep;
Step back and look closer.

He lures in the weak,
Feeds off of their “offerings,”
And for what?
Total salvation,
Killed his only son
To forgive us for our sins…

Damned be the fools
Who cry out for the wrong savior,
Who follow the wolf
In a sheepskin cloak.

You need not
Play the fool
As I once have.
Open your eyes,
And be witness
To His wicked lies!

You need Him not,
For He is fake-
A mere figment
Of man’s…
Imagination.

You're gone

I wait upon the threshold, bare,
A hollow silence chills the air,
I call your name, but none reply,
Only my echoes, and they die.
Yet I linger, lost, sorrow on,
Yearning for a voice, long gone.
Hearing phantom calls everywhere,
You’re not there.

I remember when I held you near,
Your presence lingers, ghostly, clear,
I reach into the empty sphere,
As if you will embrace me here.
I hug and hold you tight with care,
But I only feel the cold air,
You’re not there.

A part of me believes you breathe,
Your milky scent drifts underneath.
I feel your softness, warm, distilled.
I see your eyes, blessing me still.
Though what's unreal is your stare,
You’re not there.

I dream, I weave our lives as one,
Together still, though it’s done,
In my mind, it’s you, always fair,
But none of this survival, I am aware,
You’re not there.

My future, past, vast, unfurled,
My everything, really, my entire world.
In the end, though all I could care,
You’re not there.

Even the brightest dreams descend
And you, perfection, came to an end.
You’re not there.

Nothing can compensate despair.
You’re not there.

You’re gone.

Rest in peace, baby. Whenever I look into the sky, I see you, the brightest star. I miss you, and I’ll always love you.
