Aging darken ember, creaking wood floor that had been left bare. A musty odor still lingers in the old leather bound books. I'll always have both my parents in my heart and will preserve my mother's looks and will keep them there 'til my days are few with often recalls. Behind my desk hardly concentrating, silently sitting focused on a letter I found in an old book. The letter was addressed to me, from my mother. I can see her knitting the words, "When God gave you to me He knew I would need you, Shaw." The musty odor of the letter prickles my nose as I draw it up closer to read.
