Someone once said
“The only assurances in life is death and taxes!”
I’ll let you read the fine print, I’ll send the faxes
All there is; is death and taxes!
Watch me grind my sliver axes
Watch the blade gleam in the slow moonlight
I like the way it sparkles in your hooded eyes
You have paid your dews, your pound of flesh for glory,
Fury for the masses…
You have been taxed & now all you have is me
Here too reap my rewards
As your vain opens, crimson flows like wine at the Eucharist
Unholy is my communion, your blood is my life!
As I watch your eyes go relax
All you have now is me at last
What a trip, as I wander to the holly-caust
The people I meet, the things they say, and do! Oh, My!
What a wonderful thing his Creation is…
This life you mortals live
As I have mentioned before
I’m the one assurance that some say is inevitable
As death and taxes, and your taxes have been paid.
In Love, not apart
faith, hope can restart
--in prayer.
Sensing Jesus' Heart...
Presence off the chart
(He's there!)
My poetry art
is barely a start
to share...
How I am aware
of His loving care
--the best.
The King's throne I bear
hands cupped in prayer
--attest
Eucharist affair
Keeps me from despair
--in rest.
At night, my hands rest
crossed over my chest
--my heart.
Blue scapular pressed
of Mary, most blessed
--impart...
my fondest request:
to let not my Guest
depart.

Write Me A Virelai Poetry Contest,
Sponsored by: Kim Rodrigues
When dad made breakfast, he always fried lots of bacon,
crackling and popping in the pan,
It scented the air, juicy and crisp, always beckoning.
Then, he piled the dark gnarled strands on a plate.
I became one of Pavlov’s frothing dogs.
When dad made breakfast, he fried a dozen eggs.
They were always over easy with lots of pepper.
No one expected anything else.
And yes, he piled them on another plate.
I added salt and ate 3, sometimes even 4.
When dad made breakfast, he toasted lots of bread,
buttering each slice with attention.
The yellow melting evenly over browned pieces,
I smeared them with jelly or honey.
We all sat with aspiring pallets at our
family Eucharist.
Life on the Edge of a Desert
David J Walker
First of all
It’s really a converted prairie
Once a jungle of buffalo grass
A thick jumble of forest for the
smallest of all God’s creatures
land captured and plowed asunder
becoming The harvest
of common principle
the subject of the annual
King Cotton fall festival
That is if God chooses to cleanse
the agrarian sins
And sends a Eucharist of rain to the
Forgiven farmers of bootlegged
Aquifer moisture
Last of all
It is a land of open sky
Endless sky
Left in the hands of the fearless
Subjects of the winds
Where every new generation
of true pioneers
will live and die
under the watchful eye
Of a living and loving God
You think Christ is not hurt
With loving what you thought is Christ
Loving Christ is being in His true Church
In Catholic or Roman Catholic you are not condemned but saved
In His Church
Ask R.C.I.A.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
Is like a college Religion class
You will learn the truth
In other man-made religion bible are lies
What you’re reading is really the true Church
Not your own
It’s like a blind
Leading another blind
They would both fall in hell of fire
It is not the minister’s fault
Your own, rather take them with you
Both of you learn the truth
For every man they can be a deacon
Bishop and Priest are not with a wife
For Jesus Christ is a High Priest
Great Prophet
Only Son of the most High
The Redeemer
In RCIA, you will receive 3 important Sacraments
Baptism
Confirmation and
Holy Eucharist or the Body of Christ
We want God to be pleased with us
Eternal Father told the people
To Listen only to the Messiah and
The One I sent
What are these Christ like churches?
Non Catholic churches?
People in there are already condemned
Being in Catholic or Roman Catholic, you are saved
Form:
This is the day
We break the bread
Cup full of wine
To numb the head
This is the day
When truth reveals
The veil of lies
A mind conceals
This is the day
We knew would be
That thorny cap
Of destiny
Awaits the king
Of hearts and minds
Releasing all the
Chain that binds
This is the day
A final feast
Then walk to face
The mighty beast
A farewell toast
A hug goodbye
Of knowing me
You will deny
We pivot now
Towards the end
Death's lonely path
My feet to wend
A different way
Would be so nice
Now suffering
To sacrifice
This is the day
We eat our last
So I can save you
From your past
So, go I must
My words they stay
New life awaits
This is the day
Lion of Judah, Lamb of God, Light of the world
Logos: Lamp to my feet, Light to my path
Liberator from Lying, Laziness, Lust, Licentiousness
Opal and Onyx of Omniscience and Omnipotence
Overcome my Onerous Offences and Omissions

"COMMUNION"
You speak to me in tongues
I hear you with my heart
I feel you with my mind
Like a Spring bloom, I am slowly unfurling
Like a ripe plum, you taste me in my rhymes
You touch me black ink injected drug potent
Red Poppies between lines
I sense you in your dreams
They are swelling next to mine
Like a drunk, I swallow all your delicious words
You turn into endless Golden Chalices of Altar Wine
I see you through your mirrors
COMMUNION
You see me, walking now through mine.

Meditation on the 5th Luminous Mystery:
The Institution of the Holy Eucharist
In Bethany, Jesus & His apostles had their last supper together
(Where Jesus foretold the betrayal of Judas & the denial of Peter)
Also there in the cenacle, The Lord had made the bread & the wine
(Consecrated into his body & blood divine)
This is the 5th Luminous Mystery – The Institution of the Holy Eucharist
Jesus blessed the bread & proclaimed it is His body
(The Bread of Life to be eaten by humanity)
Jesus blessed the wine & proclaimed it is His blood
(The Blood of the Covenant to cleanse all sins we had)
The fruit of this mystery – Adoration
Oh God who had made Thy body & blood a sacrifice
(For the whole humanity an offering suffice)
The God who offers to us the body & blood of His Son
(The perfect divine sacrifice for everyone)
As “The Institution of the Holy Eucharist” had shown “Adoration”
Lord God, like in “The Institution of the Holy Eucharist”, we adore Thee
(As Jesus Christ shed His precious blood & offered His sacred body)
Like Jesus & His apostles who made their communion consecrated
(We also make ourselves to God dedicated)
Praise God! We realized “Adoration” through the 5th Luminous Mystery.
