poured by God with His generous supply
midst love’s kindness in serenity bliss.
With your “I do” bond to live like one flesh*
inside the Lord’s goodness together dwell
exercising kindness for such to thrive.
Upon Christ’s mighty fortress you reside
building home with His presence and power
since His upholding protects from storm blows.
Nurturing both souls beyond couple’s vow
keep esteeming your spouse with fervent respect
exemplifying gentle forgiveness.
Conscious of stress, bringing distress pain
help yourselves to cope, smiting pressure sting
just cling to your grips, tied by God’s promise.
Be blest by the touch of the Sovereign
recognizing His precious endowments
surely they are gifts to cherish indeed.
Now, go with the Providence-direction

Dreaming esteeming despite reality’s limitations
Red rendezvous with you like a blank bank check
Our rainbow love so fluid like confetti celebration
So unique so mystique a heart sparks is blessed
Your solar smile stays hot wild
melting any dilemma
We planted a love garden by the Nile
despite nights crisp nights in November
I notice you are in a lavender mood
No naysayers can dampen your day
Even when you get denim blues
You lighten loads with fuchsia faith
To love you is to try and consume
The freeness of a boisterous breeze
That rises like a hot balloon in June
Never deflates or escapes from me
I day dream of your kiss of steam
You touch my soul creating growth
Inspiring silver song and poetry
With you my life feels whole and gold
Embraces lace our bodies uniting ebonies

FAITH IN GOD WHO SEES ALL THAT WE DO
God sees all that we do in our humility
While we seek Him, our earnest priority…
Here we are with our faith submitting to His wise authority
Truly, needing Him for our spirituality of blest functionality.
God sees all that we do in our determination
While we persevere by His building-up for our transformation…
Here we are with our faith yielding to His direction
Truly, thanking Him for His love toward our perfection.
God sees all that we do in our servanthood
While we fulfill His command in the best way we could…
Here we are with our faith obeying Him, as such is indeed good
Truly, sacrificing with commitment we have understood.

My grandfather Hymie
spent his entire life at sea
his thick calloused hands
and ruddy complexion re
enforced non verbal body language
voluminous tomes as testimony
to countless years
(spilling into decades)
exposed to salty spittled
spumed raw elements que
sin art finest artisanal blended, crafted,
dredged by mother nature pre
pared within each trough and crest only
for thy fiercely weatherbeaten nee,
tough as rawhide, leathery,
chafed skin to me
not surprising, since
this mariner born, bred and near lee
schooled within
briny deep ever since knee
high (or so he claimed truth
to swirling rumor), jovialy
pleased that his purportedly
learnin' myth writ tik ne'r included
NEVER settn' foot in formal classroom,
his knowledge icy
anecdotes aced, surpassed,
and trounced that of what he
referred to as grenadier landlubbers
green behind the ears – glee
fully jabbing with his
unsheathed scabbard play flea
actually downplaying any exploits,
that didst educate him, prith ee
teaching him survival skills asper
getn' taut via eddy fied tests frequently de
siding a life or death outcome,
yet our Dickensian mutual friend
shared exploits while
he dressed not in tatters,
but self made clothes from cree
chores comfortable furs, and though
a striking appearance cut, ne'r
did this ole codger (fit as a fiddle
with tall slender build),
said middle aged man appeared quite be
coming. An aura, charisma, dogma
amazingly graced stalwart, gestalt,
deportment aie
found added an air of charming debonair,
esteeming flair, genteel heir
which tasked guessing years old,
aye presumed him to exit the uterine lair
at least a few score tours round oblate sphere
as aspect of youthfulness played across his eyes
one colored green like a spring day in the country,
the other jetblue sans burnin'
four pearl jam oyster cult year.
ah...them tha many decades past
since the merchant
from Neptune to mast
to nether world, though his parting seems
like it hapt last
year, noot nay twas scores o' full moons ago,
that grim reaper came swift and fast.
(scoured from dregs of me muss held head)
I shore up a vignette to free
my ("FAKE") grandfather Hymie,
whose scrunched countenanced
evinced beetle that of browed monkey

Thank You for calling me Your disciple with Your welcoming gesture
Since You ransomed me from sin-penalty’s capture
To be faithful in my spirituality-venture
Always leaning on You for my steadfast trust-posture.
Thank You for calling me Your disciple with Your caring compassion
Since You redeemed me from transgression-corruption’s destruction
To be kind in my soulwinning function
Always serving You with my committed devotion.
Thank You for calling me Your disciple with Your cleansing holiness
Since You purged me from worldliness-humanism’s filthiness
To be sanctified in my ministry-servanthood zealousness
Always obeying You along my joyful submissiveness.

Dear Lord, Almighty...
You be honoured for Your grace
enabling servant-heart attitude
emanating from submissive and grateful spirit
helping me to be the steward striving to do Your will
as You keep on drawing me nigh to Your heart
esteeming You above all else...
My God, thank You for showing
how long suffering* You are toward me
though I appear arrogant and unyielding…
Please constantly teach my heart
of humility’s virtue, righteously rewarding
as genuinely exemplified by Christ, the Saviour
Who yielded Himself sacrificially, with love so exceeding.
Thus, I seek Your meekness-grace drive;
help me bear --- for Your sake,
every act I perceive as condescending!
My Saviour, Your long suffering for me
highlights Your merciful compassion at work
notwithstanding my service that’s unacceptable…
Kindly correct my soul against prayerlessness
and faith’s increase-failure due to vanity-stumble
for me to progress in Your holy kingdom’s pursuit
making my servanthood fruitfully favourable.
Hence, I need Your power’s fortitude;
empower me --- to live for Your glory
as Your Spirit does move my being!

Lord God, You are my heart’s Searcher
according to Your affirmation for my willingness
Thank You for disciplining my towering haughtiness
And for making me submissive, esteeming You with earnestness
So I won’t desire to be fed with vanity’s meaninglessness.

according to Your enrichment for my endeavor
Thank You for cheering my heart discontentment-savor
And for making me prayerful through Your power’s fervor
