As the September of my days befall me it crosses my mind
soon my Autumn shall pass and Winter beckons me
Are you prepared dear mortal to accept death
face it, can you look death in the eye and smile
The Greenland shark can live to five hundred years
mysterious creatures of the seas
I catch myself remembering the birth of Spring
it fades softly and slips away
My Summer years full, brass and young
too much fun for life is endless in youth.
Now body worn, showing time with aches and pains
everything falling apart held together by medical wonders
Family and friends fade from life one by one
and you always get that senior citizen discount automatically now
When you outlive your pet Macaw you know time is escaping
faith important again, finding renew meaning is frost ensues
A false belief of immortality only a child's heart can see
in the eternal youth of Spring. Winter approaches
Do you prepare everything for others to ease their life
when you are gone or do nothing for it is easier than facing
Mortality.
What words ride on the air
where once lay dreams bared;
musings of life gone by
playing rhythm to the lullaby.
Clouds begin to fade
sliding toward the end of day,
and in the dark stages of twilight
dreams are resurrected in the night.
Soft melodic blends
bring on the sleepiness at days end
and safe in mother's arms
the child rests safe, unharmed.
Where soothing calm ensues
and memories profuse
of setting suns and rising moons
lullabys by which to swoon.
Play on, play long and well
the futures hold hidden spells
of soothing comforting chords
of lullabys embracing life's rewards.
Near the end of time
when all life begins to slowly unwind;
a final sunset unfolds and glows
as the wind whispers soft and low.
Sun setting on the horizon
burning out, slowly demising
flares rise high
in the final sunset lullaby.
Awaken, white and yellow daffodils
Entice the honeybees and butterflies
Bring back the blue birds to my window sill
So I can hear those spring time lullabies
Arouse oh robins, welcome in the green
I long to smell the scent of fresh cut grass
Just splash some color, nothing too obscene
A harbinger that winter soon will pass
Arrange the sun, that it may tilt just so
upon my shoulders warm as summer's eve
The spring ensues the winter's afterglow
And brings with it a touch of sweet receive
Let colors dance together in our dreams
And bathe with love's ensemble by the stream

Thank you Vie for collaborating with me on this sonnet.
She's going outside her comfort zone
Why would she leave her safe cell
Life has come with promises from the birth moment
Of a light at the end of the tunnel
The pain that ruin causes falls deep into the darkness
There is no need to be afraid
Every day and every night
Refuse to love, nightmares and dark shadows from the past
A constant fight ensues between her heart and mind
No questions nor any answers ... emptiness
She lets the cold breeze guide her thoughts
Moments define themselves regardless
Right here helpless, silent and breathless
Dreaming by candlelight and paper lanterns
Brilliantly defined and silhouetted, and so brightly lit
When the curtains open and music plays
Fluttering wings of magic sails on cloud nine
Flashing golden memories held within the dome
Happiness enchanting spells a heavenly rays smiles
Open arms warmly embracing sighs inside waves turn keys
One song faraway rising tides brushing sands
In the basin seed of love nourished with beauty
Eden's fruit once bitten when rose blossoms
Sweetly summer sun dances in the horizon
Kissing beams drifting faraway holding paradise
Walking inside the moonlight shadows of daydreams
Winds whispering honey coating chants your tune

There was once a Dragon in my mind,
soaring her levy through it's eerie wind.
On water's dipole and Tau's ring of Pi,
she coiled her tail around my axis of pride.
The invisible Dragon with a lustrous hide;
elating the ego in synesthetic stride.
Preying on the petty with adamant jowls.
Her eyes are red ablaze with amour, rage, and self-acknowledgement.
She kisses my thoughts with her rhythmic muse,
ambient qualia ensues.
She carries my soul with her amable claws.
A story is told through standard candle trails;
worshiped in a celestine shrine.
Lights known to wake the vale of men to the advected advent of love.
Her long tangled body swims through space in a propagating line.
Anharmonic; her tail points in its own direction,
spanning the enigmatic vector of time.
The road seems endless
Nighttime quickens fear
Unfamiliar, a stranger
In this bus
The air, humid and thick
With danger, angry
Glances swim upstream
Avoiding fallen hate
At first, some were friendly
As hours and days passed
They disappeared, maybe
Changing direction, or
Means of transport, as
Streetcars rattled down the
Middle of the road, always
Heading back to sadness
Women keep their heads
Cloaked tightly, not drawing
Attention, counting on safety
In numbers, various maladies
Afflicted many, silently praying
God is leading them to help
At various moments, fights break
Out, angry words, punches, flotsam
Sometimes wildly swinging knives
Clanging off the sides, a middle
Peace ensues, imaginary walls
Erected, unspoken truce shifts
Uncomfortably
The end, unknown...

On my momma it's true
Off a lotta marijuana and brew
Gotta move
After what I wanna do
Volcanoes erupted, then lava flew
Sad but true, that endless drama ensues
How the .... is doing nada cool?
Leave you at the bottom of a pool
We've got nothing in common fool
Better watch who you're talking to
And where you're walking through
Or it'll end up costing you
Just may put you in a coffin soon
In a field where flowers often bloom
It will or won't be on the news
Accumulating a little or a lot of views
Just don't get what you heard and saw confused
Stay away if you can't afford dog food
Or ramen for you
Go ahead and call it rude
It's not odd, it's true
Don't want to talk to god or you
Just want the money, sorry I thought you knew
Chopping logs in two
Take off on you
Faster than anything propelled by rocket fuel
I'm the one that caused your doom
And a sonic boom

Ding, ding, ding.
My phone is on the table.
I haven’t answered anyone yet.
I haven’t answered anyone all morning.
I remember things.
I spilled cereal that morning.
That’s when the shift started.
I looked around.
Someone is saying things.
Bird seed spilled on the ground.
Which reminds me.
Of being able to fly.
A past life and I.
Ding, ding, ding.
I turn off my phone at night.
But still.
The sound.
A shift.
Lying down and hovering above the sheets.
I turn off the light again.
I turn off the light again.
I turn off my phone again.
I haven’t answered anyone all week.
I could throw my phone in the ocean.
Except I don’t live by the ocean.
Evil laughter ensues.
Crying is something they don’t know about.
But I think they are investigating me.
I could sleep at night.
They don’t care though so why bother?
A shift.
It could have started yesterday.
I used to sleep.
Ding, ding, ding.
I have 36 unread messages.
I counted them all.
In the Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands
The host of "The Traitors" greet with open hands.
For the US, Alan Cumming with his cunning brown eyes
And flamboyant outfits that dazzle and surprise.
For the UK, Claudia Winkleman with her smile and famous fringe
Supporting her contestants through their moments of cringe.
They gauge up personalities until they find
The Traitors they are searching for with mischief in mind.
In the deathly shadows they hand over the cloak
Which the new Traitors adorn once they have sworn the oath.
These hosts give hints and comments as chaos ensues
And talk to us, the audience, to hold interest and amuse.
They keep a dastardly dark secret at the round table.
In no way do they expose the truth of liars stable.
Every murder mystery and money building task
Gradually reveal the truth with no questions asked.
Daily the Faithfuls are cherry picked one by one
While Traitors s up their sleeves knowing what's gone on!
We show two sides of ourselves in the process of this game.
Our sense of justice insists that we wouldn't do the same.
Yet on the flip side, if there are Traitors at the end
A part of us wants them to win. A slight moral descend.
An affair of many twists and turns with risks, but all the same,
Could we find it in ourselves to play "The Traitors" game?
