Premium Member Jazz Thought Buddha Mind

In the breath of seconds, where Coltrane's music in silence meets sound/

Sonny Rollins ' Buddha thought Jazz flows like a river, unbound and profound/
Improv, give the drummer some Mike Clark's sacred dance beat on the edge of now/
echoes the Buddha’s truth—how to be, how and now simply/
Herbie’s keys whisper secrets of the eternal present, while Coltrane’s horn soul soars—love supreme, transcendent/
Wayne’s Emanon, a mantra of self and beyond, journeying into Nichiren's Buddhist sacred pond/
Meditation’s stillness is a fertile ground to ignite the jazz flight/ Notes bloom like lotuses in the quiet of the night/
Both paths converge—music and mind—one breath, unfolding the cosmos, escaping death/
In the stillness of the moment, the universe reveals its face. No need for judgment, just pure grace. Jazz and Buddhism, a union of the free,

Beyond consciousness to a Buddha's enlightenment/

Sitting under the Bodhi Tree/

Straight ahead into the real/
A free jazz collective to attachment and non-attachment to the jazz note you just played/

Take your giant steps on the stage of thought/
Let your music take action as a serenade to what is now/
But after leaving no trace of self and no shadow of the jazz notes you just played/

August 6 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 9-12

Key Verse – Ezekiel 10:5 And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY ALMIGHTY SOVEREIGN

Lord God, You are my Almighty Sovereign
Who empowers me by Your might
Thank You for beholding me through Your mercy’s light
Beyond my inability’s height
Toward triumphant faith that soars to divine flight.

Lord God, You are my Almighty Sovereign
Who expounds to me Your assurance
Thank You for allowing me to visualize Your glorious elegance
Beyond my confessed ignorance
Toward humble compliance that smites arrogance.

Lord God, You are my Almighty Sovereign
Who enables me with Your hands
Thank You for helping me obey Your commands
Beyond my incapacity to meet Your demands
Toward diligent willingness that I may run for ministerial errands.

Lord God, You are my Almighty Sovereign
Who establishes me through Your uplifting
Thank You for guiding me along Your counsel’s setting
Beyond my stubbornness that needs melting
Toward sanctified testimony that conquers darts of doubting.

Lord God, You are my Almighty Sovereign
Who exposes to me Your prophecy-fulfillment
Thank You for teaching me Your doctrines of spiritual enrichment
Beyond my understanding in need of Your enlightenment
Toward faithful stewardship that can work midst discipleship-commitment.

Lord God, You are my Almighty Sovereign
Who encloses me within Your compassion
Thank You for loving me despite my transgression
Beyond my sinfulness of guilt’s possession
Toward pardoned status that overcomes hell-fright’s oppression.

Lord God, You are my Almighty Sovereign
Who encompasses me around Your graciousness
Thank You for pitying me in my downfall’s loneliness
Beyond my feelings of unworthiness
Toward joyous servanthood that glorifies You by Your goodness.

~You stand before me
I was feeling low
You walked up on me
I didn’t want to leave (go)
Your eyes twinkled you glowed
With our stretched arms and hands you shown
Chest to chest twain together we are embraced
You for that instance showed me there was caring
A care for your fellow human-being
Chest to chest
Breast to chest
Enlightenment
Chest to chest
Breast to breast
Chest to chest twain together we are embraced
Entitlement
Non-lethal
Not Sexual
But warm compassion lateral
A care for your fellow human-being
As you smiled through your eyes
A humanitarian surprise
You embraced me so
(Really I didn’t want to let you go)
Chest to chest twain together we are embraced
Chest to chest
Breast to chest
Enlightenment
Chest to chest
Breast to breast
Entitlement
Non-lethal
Not Sexual
But warm compassion lateral
You stand before me
I was feeling low
You walked up on me
I didn’t want to leave (go)
Your eyes twinkled you glowed
With our stretched arms and hands you shown
You for that instance showed me there was caring
A care for your fellow human-being
Chest to chest twain together we are embraced~

I can’t get enough
I must have more
I want more, I need more

It’s what sustains me now
It’s what keeps me going
It’s what I must have to live

Keep ‘em coming!

It feeds my soul and tames my demons
I’m a better person because of it
It frees my spirit

The good, the bad and the ugly. I love it all!!!

It doesn’t give me the shakes or hangovers
Though sometimes I drool in anticipation
For an injection of enlightenment

You set me free!

I am a poetryaholic
I’m a poetry junky
I’m addicted and I need ...

More, more, more, and more!

I’ve replaced all my bad habits
With this new obsession
With you, I’ll never need rehab

Thanks for sharing!

Message To The Blackman

If slavery was a choice, as some have agreed, then what are we?
If watching your father and mother endure rape or murder was a choice,
Then why do we sit on idle hands, while Trump eradicates our posterity’s opportunities,
As if they were written in sand?
If not being able to read was a choice,
Then why do you go to the PlayStation in a rush
while your library card collects dust?
Even a Ward educates themselves,
Even the eunuch Greyjoy developed the courage to stand against evil.

In the midst of upheaval, one mustn’t look through a straw while planning the future.
The sagacious knows fighting must be eschewed when only death is in thy terms.
Allah heard their suffering, but sometimes the way out is through.
They didn’t endure out of docility or obsequiousness,
But out of discernment and sagacity.
The desolate doesn’t become prosperous by exclaiming tumultuous absurdities,
But by embodying opulent minds.

Go back to the mother, which is the way, and endure the storm,
While being metamorphic in form.
You see, my Kings and Queens,
The only choice they made was to give their posterity a fighting chance,
To gather strength while the usurpers wane and start to underestimate.
We must pick up the quill and write our own fates,
No more brooding or carping about what Donny Thrump is doing.
One man’s decisions determine another man’s life,
As much as a drought challenges the land.
Yet, life, like the Way, will always find a path to flourish,
Forevermore permeating even the harshest conditions.

We must stop talking about what great leaders and men should be,
And become Great Men and Assiduous Leaders.
We were the first great civilization and shall act as such.
Lead with grace,
Strike with prudence,
Read great books that enrich the mind,
Treat each other with unyielding reverence,
Because we each carry a piece of the divine.
I am that I am, and I am my brother's keeper.

" Do not give heed, until you see or hear it with your own eyes and ears. Where one person will jump then all will follow."
quote_by poet

We as creatures, want to believe everything,
what we've been given as truth in broadcasting,
internet, and publishing, as enlightenment teaching,
which is not most of the time.

Those that have a handle, on a technology's world
can write whatever opinion they have. Whorled
and knurl photographs, to what they want us to see
and govern our free judgment to what they want us to be.

We visit or dine together, but are we listening.
Everyone in hand, sitting looking and reading
their smartphones. No life for family time.

I can just imagine God holding his smartphone
as we sit all alone and left on our own.

When imbalance of life churns hapless poignancy
And the zephyr of inequities breezes melancholy
Dissonance reverberates echoing pathos of grief
Seeking exaltation within metaphysical profundity
As hushed posture conjures up humbling catharsis,
Leaning in quietude, questing paranormal vitality,
Liberating from bounds of mundane, the ordinary,
Energizing calming bliss of unfamiliar, extrasensory.

Mortal soul steadily crosses limits of understanding
Reaching deep into unknown, unexplored territory,
Daring to search for knowledge in mystical obscurity
Pursuing enlightenment from supernatural intrigue,
Discovering newfound acuity blossoming internally
Adulating freedom of shedding narrow boundaries
Gaining divine wisdom, postulating own doctrines,
Comprehending missives in blissfulness of sagacity.

As laments mellow in teachings of superior intellect
And bawl of distraught soothes in heavenly solace
Finding ambrosial tranquility in endearing calmness,
Physiological longings amiably, peacefully dissipate
And gradually soul enlightens, unafraid of mortality,
Yearning for permanence of purposeful inviolability,
Meaningful beyond self, detaching from materiality,
Synchronizing harmoniously in idyllic, placid sanctity.

Gentle hopes thrive in the sunlight
Where miracles are encouraged
And kindness does always flourish

Breathes of passion caress the wind
With musical whispers of tenderness
Creating happiness that flows through
The heart and causes the very soul
To listen with a sense of compassion

Shadows of inspiration soothe the spirit
Where secrecy meets, combining with
Wisdom that reveals truths built on faith

Dancing with enlightenment and desire
Building fires of concern that keeps hearts
Pouring out blessings discovered within
The ones who know love is the only answer
Filling up lives with beautiful, warm embraces

Silent sincerities sigh with pure elation
Fixing their thoughts on blessed visions
Insights into the heart and soul of creativity

Breaking through the worry, pain and strife
Comes the prayers who welcome God’s sign
Revealing to us the wonders that set about
Designing aspirations and second chances
To reach out to those who need our empathy

Brilliant hues of phenomena beckon from
The heart of those who learn and grow with
Knowledge that the Lord is the answer to life

Journeying through this arid earth, yearning
For the wonders found in loving unconditionally
With all the heart and soul, beyond the hurts
Through everything that comes, good and bad
Happy and sad… throughout it all, unending love!

Extinction

They are disappearing
animals in the wild going extinct
livestock in the oceans going extinct
plastic pollution fills the land and sea
strangling the life from them
trophy hunters with callous compulsion
slay the vulnerable for social media attention
and man’s hunger for consuming
every part of these sentient beings expands.

They are disappearing
animals—as their lives are taken, they fear, and
heartless butchers share tales in jest “They
crap on themselves as they feel the end near”
shivering in line for their turn at slaughter
not unlike man’s own fear, if he faced the same matter,
their fate sealed as long as man lacks enlightenment.

They are disappearing
and what is our world without
humming birds, without honey bees and butterflies,
they too are going extinct, their population shrinking
casualties of pesticides and climate change
disguised poisons fed to them on the low
so too, as forests turn to ash and thawing icebergs flow.

While animals are disappearing
only time stands between man
and his own extinction,
as he rapes the land of its resources
his greed above all else,
and his avarice to take more and more grows
he too will disappear as sure as
Karma knows!

Science says that the moon has no gender,
and some think that the moon is both-   yin and yang;
female and male energy glowing in splendour.
I think moon is like a female boomerang,
a sky goddess that nightly comes to just hang;
sometimes, la lune brings her sparkling star gang !

La lune always gazes down on earth benignly;
representing the rhythm and flow of time,
she embodies cycle and phases divinely.
By climbing in the sky each night beautifully sublime,
and giving me enlightenment at bedtime ...
and I also gaze at her in the dark of nighttime !
