FAITH IN GOD WHO HAS COMPASSION ON US
God has compassion on us with His commitment
So pure along sanctification’s fulfillment
With His truth against sinfulness-detriment
Toward our faith’s victorious settlement.
God has compassion on us with His spirituality’s oil
So peaceable without turmoil
With His strength against distress-spoil
Toward our faith’s joyous servanthood-toil.
God has compassion on us with His goodness
So gentle along charity’s kindness
With His grace against vanity and worldliness
Toward our faith’s gladness despite hatred’s bitterness.
God has compassion on us with His favour
So merciful along patience’s ardour
With His Word against deception and dishonour
Toward our faith’s discernment-fervour.
God has compassion on us with His Biblical vantage
So good along fruitfulness’ package
With His standards against stewardship-damage
Toward our faith’s spiritual courage.
God has compassion on us with His sovereignty
So fair along judgment’s authority
With His holiness against insincerity
Toward our faith’s power for ministry-involvement’s integrity.
God has compassion on us with His mercy
So triumphant along Scriptures’ supremacy
With His enlightenment against hypocrisy
Toward our faith’s steadfastness with virtuous consistency.
