Premium Member My Heart

Finally, my blood began to coagulate.
However, I felt great, energetic, and alive.
But, now that I was old enough for Medicare,
I decided to have a medical exam at 65.

After a series of various tests, my primary
doctor recommended a cardiologist.
When did my heart condition start?
And what is the medical remedy?
What on earth must one do?

It's like a traffic jam.
The traffic light alone can no
longer direct the traffic flow.
Too many vehicles; Not enough lanes.

My doctor asked questions and more questions.
What was your father's cause of death?
My father's demise had occurred at the age
of 58, and in fact, no males in my father's
family had lived past the age of 65. So,
I never knew if their blood ever coagulated.

Premium Member The Shadow Cast

The shadow cast was so gigantic
My shadow small could not measure up
The feeble efforts__ my meager life
To gigantic shadow that was cast

Hard workin', energetic, gifts held
So that I could grow be giant oak
Strong sturdy solid gave your all__ life
Limbs were used to heat center of home

The leaves to mulch the flowers, roses
Acorns to the feed the squirrels, deer, wild life
But what a shadow across the yard
A shady place for one to sit and grow

Or sit close to your trunk to weather
The storms that come from time to time
How I miss that Oak that is now gone
Cut down removed used for heat

Hearth and home for several winters
So long ago but the __memories
Of the beauty as you lifted
You limbs in prayer and praise

Revival: the Key To Spiritual Survival

Ephesus was a destination on Paul's 1st missionary trek
but from the minute he arrived his experience was like a bad train wreck
but Paul was most determined and so he returned to that town
he was on a mission for the Great Commission and felt duty-bound
Paul, was very diligent, persevering and persistent
he had a desire to spread the "Good News" that was most insistent
Paul knew he had to keep on going and not ever slow his roll
for failure was not an option but an obstacle he had to overcome and control

one only has to knock on the doors in life until you've been let you in
and don't take no for an answer and if you must knock again
let your mission or your task for Christ simply have revival
for revival is the only key to spiritual survival
but in order to be revived you need to understand
that God may use you as a part of His master plan
God does not go about changing our personalities
but He will redirect our spiritual objectivity
He wants us to follow our destiny and in Him simply trust
to loyally follow the instructions that He sent to us
to do the right thing and not grow weary nor weak
to do what you must to obtain the spiritual goals you seek
to be revived whenever we stumble or slip
to be restored whenever we tumble or trip
to be renewed in our own determination
to be redirected towards our final destination

don't forsake the Lord God for He should be your first concern
don't disregard His instructions and all from His son you've learned
don't put His unconditional love for you to the wayside
from Him you need revival in order to survive

be enthusiastic, be energetic while on your godly driving test
and let spiritual revival be your personal conquest
remember from whence you first fallen into the faith
remember the day that you were baptized in that Holy place
repent as you now look back over your life
repent and return to your first love, the Lord Jesus Christ
have a reawakening and be refilled with the Holy Spirit
renewal of your faith and now totally committed
renewed, reborn and restored with godly revival
for that is the only key to the door of spiritual survival

Premium Member An Odd Recognition

I couldn't find her, oh, where did she go?

Energetic young woman, that I used to know

She'd once had her hair always done at the mall

She'd answer the phone any time one should call

I looked through her home where I knew

                                    I should find her

It seemed Darker than once, though,

                                My eyes are now blinder...

I stepped into the dismal and yellowed hall's light

A woman stood staring, and we both jumped with fright

I drew in a quick breath, for soon I could see

An odd recognition, familiar to me

I took a step closer; she took one as well,

                                The woman I'd sought...?

If so? She looked like hell.

                                Then both our fists flew,

                               With one piercing shout....

                                 She crumbled to pieces...

                              Bloody mirror... Thrown out!

Year 3000

I have been to the year 3,000

I have been to the year 3000 not much
Has changed, there is still corruption
And modern day currency is currently
Worth nothing.

Everyone trades for what they want
No need to rush around and stress out
About making someone else other than
 One’s Self-rich.

Although, the environment is much cleaner
The community became much greener so there
Is no need to protest? Creativity and self-expression
Has become more valuable and collaboration has become
An important part of success.

Popularity, social status and vanity no longer hold as much
Weight as it use to in the past. Life and well being has become
A higher priority no one focuses too much energy in living
Fast.

I have been to the year 3000 not much
Has changed, I guess as far as societal leadership
Goes will it ever change you ask is the year 3000
Who knows?

However, there is one thing that has changed and
That is the way humanity takes care of its self.
Self-help has become the remedy to emotional
Health.

All energetic chains are released not only can
The people of the year 3000 think outside the
Box, they can expand shape and reshape the
Box into any form they want.

Why you ask because the people of the year 3000
Know they are more than capable with the
Capacity to become the captains and future leaders
Of their of destiny though politics has it purpose
And reason to exist. This dose not prevent the
Inhabitants of the year 3000 from living their every day
Lives and making the most of it.

Step Away

Yes, I too have an agenda for soon and years to come
To only get better from what I have become
For when I bounce back with energetic force
The path I fell countless times shan't ever be as coarse.

To stroll along with hindsight from damage done and past
And live along the journey where prior steps were fast
When lessons learned and all I earned sprinkles to the earth
To become seeds for some ready to rebirth.

Journey to the dreamtime where all is lost to gain
Where life perceived eternal with spirit and no pain
They welcome me with music and songs that lift my heart
How special are my people who never do depart.

Whilst here I stall with memories gazing into space
Recalling all the moments where love was sensed and grace
To persevere when only here throughout the night and day
Knowing where I travel, they're just a step away.

Music

Music it is..
A melody
A tune..
Sounds..
A vibration..
A frequency..
Of the highest..

Love of music..
Comforts and soothes the soul..
Touches the soul profoundly..
Stimulates the senses..

The sound of lovely music..
A vibrational caress it is..
Vibrational caresses surrounds one's entire being..
A warm energetic glow of high definition frequencies..
Fills the entire environment..

Music is food and medicine for one's ears..
Delectable and crucial it is..
Music adds and enhances memories..
Joyful memories..
Feelings of nostalgia..
One's first kiss..
One's first romance..
One's first love..

Music it is..
Pure joy of living in the now..

A bitter and painful experience..
Music heals the pain..
Bitterness shall turn into sweetness..

Music represents the heart..
Music equals love..

I shall enter a musical gateway..
The gateway to bliss..

Shukran

I have nothing better to say
Than Alhamdulilah on this special day.
Many years ago when Mama gave birth to me,
She knew a success is what I'd turn out to be;
Kiniun the King of the jungle,
Akoni ti o care about those wey dey grumble.
Heart of a lion, heart of an empathetic,
When it comes to vomiting rhymes-
Y'all know I'm energetic!;
Emaa bami kalo through the pages of my story,
You'll understand why I give God all the glory.
In the times of yore some wrote me off,
Likening me to pertussis that causes whooping cough;
Rejected, neglected and probably hated,
I knew God is watching and so I waited.
And on bended knees I pleaded with Him:
Ya Allah position me with the creme de la creme;
I prayed with tears upon my orbs,
That He should bless me and any begotten cubs;
And so I claim longevity, I claim wealth,
I claim prosperity, I claim health.
I claim sabr, Ya Allah I claim Your mercies,
And guidance against worldly fantasies;
As I add another year to my sojourn,
May I not have any reason to mourn.
Be with me, throughout my days in Dunniya,
And when in Akhira accommodate me-
In Jannah, a place of joy, and no fear.

Premium Member A Season of Lovers

The scent of wood smoke in the chilly wind
almost brings the remembrance of warmth.
My extremities no longer feel the bite of Icy air,
numb, asleep, even as the fire in my belly burns.

Each season has its way of touching your senses,
like past lovers, so different but still familiar.
Spring is energetic romping and first time surprises.
The lazy caress of summer leaves you spent and aching. The playfulness of autumn tickles and chases and laughs.

But winter, winter is frantic and bitter, dramatic highs and lows. The quivering, shivering, shattering cold of a turned back, and the melting comfort of embraces.

Each snowflake is frozen joy, bursting out from drops of water, and freezing.
Turn your face to the sky and taste the joy on your tongue!
There is something miraculous
and magical about
walking on water.

She aches to feel accepted, By the ones who bleed doubts, fears, anxieties
Friends of distrust and uncertainty, Friends, who don’t see her the way she is.
They can see through her smile, Into the pain that surrounds her heart,
Into the anguish, the grief, the dark, where she is…
More than black or white, more than right or wrong,
More than fear or faith – more than malice or grace.

She aches to feel like she belongs, here – and right or wrong,
She can breath hope into the forlorn heart, light candles where there is dark,
She can reach beneath the shadows into the heart.

She aches to feel accepted, by the ones who – because they don’t understand,
Let her feel like she can never be normal, known, loved,
By those who only see what she can never become,
By those who never agree that black or white, She’s more.

She’s bright and beautiful with vibrant hues in crimson,
Cobalt like the skies, tangerine sunrise in her eyes,
She’s lively, vibrant, energetic hues in buttery yellow,
Silent and wise – yet, dazzling as the diamond,
She’s clever as the stars, glistening and pulsating,
Amazing with life that only God could have voiced.
Only God could have breathed this spectral splendor of her!
