  Tale of An Ambivalent Guise

    Day Dawn's ! Early Morn.
     Crimson Sun in radiance.
     Mr. Ambivalent Guise
     roaming on non mowed lawn
      even ignores to glance slant
on Her awaiting with scintillating look
                at bated breath.

Idle noon : Pale placid white Moon
Anxious Girl with eager ears to listen
          Mr. Introvert Persona's voice
seeming audible as His eyes to glisten.
No ! Stubborn silence not to splinter.

         Afternoon merging dreary evening.
          Mr. Dubious Phantom
          seems to come close.
She rose to hold His hand :
He has neither stopped nor touched.

           Mystic Mesmerizing night :
            Mr. Morose Enigma
            unleashing hard hesitance
            undulating and vaporising
              in escaping silhouettes.

Through chasm of wobbled peak of
            rigid static mountain
            oozing amorous flow
            surging, cascading in opulence.
               Emotive urge enraptured,
                captured in Her heart.

               One moment stood still
            encumbering passage of eternal time.
                 Simple Single sentence
                   of six syllables
                ' I like you, Dear Sweetheart '
                embellished Her dreamy desires.

The View From a Window

A view of the ragged woodland from
The window:-
Slender branched trees that shed
From high above to low below;
The faint, mauven peaks
Smattered with barely visible
Scatterings of drifted snow;
Across the matted undergrowth
A bronzed carpet of copper coloured
Leaves
Whose rusting hue,
Momentarily ignited by stray
Sunbeams weakly smouldering,
Briefly refurbished -
Deceives with all the colours of a
Rainbow...
From vibrant red through to shy
Hints of indigo;
Those vague outlines indicating
Receding hills;
Here, arising, long ago, every waking
Dawning,
The creaking structures
Of groaning and imposing mills;
Soon a slow thawing that quickly
Spills
Into the trickling replenishments
Of many gushing and silvery little
Rills.

Enchantment gripped me!
And I found myself wistfully
Thinking...
Maybe, perhaps, maybe, somewhere,
Just behind where the great
Flattening Orb
Is now rapidly shrinking,
That I might, by perchance, find,
If I did so hope to bravely dare,
To happen upon a hidden and
Sedentary way of life up there?
That, forgotten, has turned its
Back on the social conflicts
Plagued by the curses of ingrained
Vice;
Encumbering a soul with its petty
Squabblings,
Imposing upon with demands and
Avarice...
When placing unnecessary burdens
On a honest bodies daily call
Of grinding toil and wearisome
Strife!

And still stood,
With hands outstretched upon the
Painted sill,
At the waist half-bent,
Now troubled by quiet mutterings
In an inexplicable sorts
Of self-imposed discontent,
My staid consciousness almost
Unawares,
As, momentarily distracted,
I hesitated, and, unseeing,
Inattentively stared...
Until...
A ragged chapter of cawing Daws,
Loudly jabbering overhead,
Suddenly wheeled -
And upwardly soared!
Whereupon, in murderous haste,
Awkwardly fled
When laboriously stealing away
Back inside the stubbled fields...
Thus causing me to slowly straighten;
Whilst, with a singular heartfelt pang,
Liken a moorland mist slowly rolling
Over
That indivisibly conceals...
Drew shut the sullen curtains, which,
Heavily embroidered with indeterminate
finality,
Dejectedly hang...
Each draped aside of the cold
Reveals.

Love Falls

You, my love, you
Entrusted me into the burning arms of fervor,
Rested your knowing fingers upon skin ever glistened with tears
Graced the breath I dared to breathe when moments masterfully collided

We stand upon the edge like devils daring nature’s wrath
Your heels wrap around the very rim that border you and I from the air
The sky blue black vapors swirl into dark wonder vanishing, the stars like eyes flashing
As you whisper fiercely in my ear, daring me to push the limit
Begging me with pupils that reflect my own desires

Your entwining smile rivets in me nerve beyond present night
I squeeze the angels out of you in one melodious measure of movement
Encumbering you in all of me, rattling your frames
A lasting forest tall as terror thrilled upon a demon possessed storm

I push us off the sheer edge,
As we spiral in the depths of the ocean’s welcoming mouth
The weight of our past and present sufferings melting into complete passion
Cradling us in the bed of her deepest, darkest waters
My lips meeting the substance of your future words
Your tongue running along the traces of silence ever kept
Deep into the screams of inner woe, embellishing warmth from head to toe

Surrounded by the echoey, treasured lines of your heart,
Mastered from the very start
You lift me high into the love falls
Splashes of poetry dispersing my hair all around
Our eyes staring into each other’s
Locked into a world like no other

With revitalizing surety otherwise crippling,
With the deep dip of your sexy soul and perforating body,
I enter the realm of your rapturous reality
Captured willingly in your picturesque hungers
Through the very tunnel of your never-ending eyes…
The penetrating roars of your fulfillment take me by surprise

Yes, you, my love, you
Took me there tonight…
For down within those depths with you I would have eagerly allowed
The sorrows and agonies of my doubts to succumb
For inside the ancient oceans of your poetry do we love
We prevail as seraphs released from the prisons of poverty-stricken despair
Their descending smiles fermenting scents of eternal ecstasy

Where You'Ve Been

I remember you when you were first swaddled.
I remember your first steps waddled.
I remember your first words spoke,
And I remember your mispronunciation being our joke.

I was there when all others left you alone.
I was there to care for you as a son, my own.
I was there when you were mercilessly beat,
And I was there when the world crumbled under your feet.

I witnessed the struggled transition from adoption.
I witnessed when you grew and wished a different option.
I witnessed when the stress took you and you lost control,
And I witnessed when the darkness began consuming your soul.

Gain for yourself some semblance of strength.
Against apathy push back and keep at arms length
Bitterness and rage which can so easily ensnare.
Rise above and become a statistic much more rare.
Improve on that which has made you great.
Exuviate that which is only encumbering weight.
Let yourself be better than the rest in your crowd.

P.S. And bear in mind always, little brother,
        Despite where you've been,
        You've made me proud.

Notions To Ponder

Notions To Ponder

Ancient sacred Hallowed ground astounds the place where footsteps fear to tread
Complacent sounds among the working poor as they are consumed with dread
Adjacent mounds of prayer that culminate to form the voices in her head
Renascent formations of heavenly dispensations for the reborn and the dead

Movement upward toward the notion of relief
Improvement for the dreary who are consumed by latent grief
Amusement of the masses as the technology imposes like a thief
Inducement of the natural world that defies all logical belief

Anaesthetically disempowered by the nature of mankind
Momentarily devoured by the greedy and unkind
Consequentially showered by thoughts of benevolence and refine
Instrumentally de flowered as one dances in perfect mime

Wondering through time and space to contemplate an afterthought
Pondering upon disgrace as one is feeling over wrought
Plundering the earth defaced as resources can be bought
Encumbering the sacred space of a philosophical astronaut

Divinations and invocations of conceptual devotion
Intonations of elevations that rise above the ocean
Collaborations of condemnations as she is overcome with emotion
Insinuations of contemplations that preside over all the commotion

Premium Member Commandment Battlement - Part Three -

The Queen's henchmen penetrate professionally the porous perimeter,
as a Phyrric victory I pacified your Lady's legion,
for both in the open, like charriots missing riders, decentralized command, the measure,
I, like you maneuver behind the superior shelter of Praetorian's protection,

Levy the lurid seige upon my country's citadel as incensed infidels do,
your cantankerous catapaults wasting pawns like pebbles punched by a storming sea,
an officer sacraficed sardonically, intrepidly,
so to decimate the dormant foots encumbering you,
audacious as an angered asp the timely tactic was, will it hasten your demise to me?

Mandatory machinations amongst this moonlight morass, palpable being Death's caress,
a zephyer like a frosty scythe grazes gingerly our anxious eyes,
tethering the still strategy of mens' mentation,
advancing positions predicted but unproven, an apocolyptic inevitability provoked,
fostering inclement suspense,
justice is now beyond principle, virtue survives only on victor's blade,
incantations made in fire for fear's sublimation,

The common denominator of this prommenade of predation is relentless domination,
manipulating the opposition, perception taunted and haunted
as the fox dictates the chimerical chase,
a vermillion heartbeat, virulent, lucious, with a thin hum of vincibility
lures you to na spot of fragile dominion,
divided forces tend to scream like burning forest
when ambushed along trails of a tedious pace,

When the harp chords chortle tears of tucker from a skulless head, recall with dire dignity
that you were vanquished in strong purpose,
the memory of your egregious exploits will depend on the degree of quater
afforded by my soveriegnty
given to this proud harem of prospective sybils
rescued by a king's necessary nemesis,

WEATHER THE STORMS SOAR

I
Shadow dances impart across lite path
Souls entrenched in technicolor harvest
Comparable passage denied terrain grasp
Rainbow corral blurb optic delusions trust
Blown wind scars the clouds rains falls down solace
Weather the storms soar the heaven’s cry
Grasping at the middle climax remains
Compels vibrate illusive prey contains
Weathering the tornadic torrents space.

II
The wind invisible clams and flies goes
Soul’s fiction blinded spirits solar glows
Darkness flees from higher, highest bright light
 Ground labor encumbering dusty bare
Light chasing the darkness blight night
Troposphere next to stratosphere so fair
Spoken forth breath and life birth
Forth going as well as coming go
Universal darkness encased in light earth

Premium Member The Back of Dad's Chair

The back of Dad's chair is black like a void,
its mid discontinuous of solid support.
Cushion coils creak as his weight shifts,
his interest unhinged from light hypnosis.
The scuff of rough wheels rub fine lines in
encumbering crumb-crusted floorboards,
which mundanely sustain the weight
of a burdened waistline and wasted years.
He forfeits the fortunes of a father: favor and honor,
as points tabulate and clock ticks wick up
the last of my sapped up, tapped out tears.
His glowing, giddy face is unfazed,
too focused on fantasies to notice me.
Dad's back trespasses my passive stares,
his incessant inattentiveness ingrained
like the prison-bar stripes on the back of his chair.

Slog

With virgin miles yet pining for tireless tread,
You know a lot of hard travelling lies ahead;
For the goal unclaimed stands beyond reach,
Where triumph basks on the gleaming beach.

But the blistered feet do pinch with spiking pain,
Immobilizing wounds that hatch soaring cramps;
For limbs are short but the pilgrim's journey's long,
And victory can only be won with lengthened strain.

Hope fails amidst fatigue's encumbering banes
That hit hardest on the journeyer's softest parts;
Trimming mirth and the last of enlivening cheer,
Sapping the only pillar that props sinking hearts.

The trek's hostile surrounds play no kindly friend
To tired and lonely farers on this less-taken road;
Your only mates are wild jeers that strangers send,
On this arduous path our ancient heroes often trod.

Despite the testing route's unrelenting heartbreak,
May every valiant foot march on for victory's sake!

Premium Member Winter

So, what does Nature
and Her Winter suggest?

that death is but a sleep
before a refreshing showery
sunny new awakening

that each resting kernel of being
is a blossom again to come forth
perennials of form with lofting
scents and beguiling evolving
textures

no soil can ever fully contain
nor rising smoke of briers
be anything less than Freedom
Breaths released

seeking dawns of experience
souls en-route to still ampler bliss
having been de-shelled
freed from stifling encumbering filters

I think Winter as much the good messenger
as it is the Grim Reaper

I think Winter as much the cold and still
as it is the ceaseless heart of birthing
warmth

flakes of color never straying too far
from their green leafy patterns

we travel inherent veins sensing our
own blood pulsing there-in and out
blushing and unfolding fond ripeness

every flower brought forth
a new universe
to freshly sniff and dream

every bee and speck of pollen
an extender-finger pointing toward
an even greater God
