Nine Eleven Earthshaking Day

N-ine eleven earthshaking day
E-xposed the human's frailty;
W-isdom, wealth and power were also used by enemy.

Y-ear two thousand and one,
O-ne morning of September eleven;
R-ubbles from fallen buildings
K-illed thousands of men.

W-ings of suicide planes
O-verflew the aircraft's head;
R-eady to hit the targets,
L-eaving many people
D-ead.

T-win towers were on fire,
R-unning men were in fear;
A-t the walls and windows they were helpless,
D-esperate jumpers turned a deaf
E-ar.

C-entral Intelligence Agency
E-xpected not the terrorist attack;
N-either they knew nor were they warned,
T-he USA was in utter shock.
E-xactly fifteen long years have passed, but sad memories still stay;
R-emember those who perished during nine eleven earthshaking day.

Premium Member IT STARTED WITH A BLANK CANVAS

Love is a blank canvas, a phantasmagoric fantasy,
to pucker up with glossy lips, the subtle soft brush
against the opposite sex, with eye-shades drawn.

Love doesn’t know the body yet, still sizing it up.
It doesn’t know the femininity and masculinity of art.
O Leonardo…O Romeo…Ah Juliet…O Venus!

Love craves the parts that match up, some the same,
others staining the cheeks, straining and draining strength,
magnetic and quaking, erupting and earthshaking.

Love weakens knees, draws attention from the whiteboard,
sharpens the brilliance of the sun, dots the i’s with hearts,
Nearly breaks the blank canvas with its passionate volume.

This canvas sans focal point. Bubblegum pops, primroses
afloat with ribbons and strings, ponytail tugs, pastels and
honeysuckles. Swings way too high - the girl, the guy.

Dancing, laughing, praising
Psalms of leaves, breathtaking
Whispering joy – kindness
Poetry so stirring, earthshaking

It’s the time for creatures
To gather their nuts and leaves
Hope invites gentle blending
Heart and soul who loves, believes

Smiling like the moonlight
Who silences the stars, nocturnal
Blessings raining through life
Assuring the spirit of the eternal

It’s the miracle of a prayer
The feeling that cures each doubt
Who abides in those who trust
Have faith in God’s wisdom throughout

Falling through the sunshine
Dreams echoing beauty and peace
Creating sensations of creativity
Compassion that will only increase

It’s the autumn, vibrant and inspiring
Who rises through the hills, thrilling
Reassuring – blessing the entire world
With a joy that is alive, so fulfilling

Breathing light, like a fire from inside
Roaring beauty, graceful – uplifting
Reminds the spirit to believe, to know
It is God – Autumn’s author, gifting…

The heart, mind and spirit – with this
Wonders – rousing the sweetest bliss

Hypnotic snow peaks, transformed into shades of zirconium.
sparkling green.
Thou art truly, an existential,Yuletide, eternally kissable, love machine!

You made the gods of Eros, come alive within these throbbing
poetic veins, boil and joyfully return.

You awakened your sleeping princess-poet’s crimson, sensuality,
truly …..with your sensual,incense burn.

Reborn. I am, with affection of your sparkling snowflakes of again
earthshaking masculinity.

This glorious Christmas of joy, to rejoice,in my own femininity!

Waking to your touch, I feel so blessed, such bliss
This is wonderful that I once dreamed about
Nothing feels quite as perfect as your sweet kiss

Because I know you’re mine, I will never doubt
This is love so alive, it feels earthshaking
Awesome love so fine, knowing I won’t burnout

These feelings, like fine art, are just breathtaking
Nothing on earth feels as much like gentle grace
Where you are, that is where my smile is waking

Thanks to you, I know joy that pain can’t erase
You give me more love than my words can describe
There is gentle I can’t explain on your face

I haven’t a doubt, you’re what my heart did prescribe
When I found you, there’s love the soul does inscribe

Letting him go because he had found another,
She loved him completely and there was no other,
When he married a friend, her young heart was breaking,
But, she let him go, knowing she should not smother.

Even though the pure feelings were overtaking,
She didn’t let him see this hope that was earthshaking.
When time brought them together again, her heart yearned.
But, she didn’t see how this love was worth the making.

She still loved him, but wasn’t sure her love was returned.
He might be her answered prayer, for him she burned.
When he kissed her soft lips, passions flowed within her.
Silencing every doubt as feelings boiled and churned.

Like the blazing sun, his love she’d always prefer.
He was a blessing of love, all became a blur,
When she held him close, there was no reason for fear.
He held her whole heart, her soul would surely concur.

She was filled with feelings for this man, such a dear.
He brought her passions unimagined, it was clear,
Without this love that meant more to her than a dream,
Life would be filled with grief, her heart would shed a tear.

As time moved past, and they became such a great team,
She believed they were meant to be, sure of esteem.
All around them, those they knew did a double take.
Him who gave them always, is the awesome Supreme.

She understood that life might sometimes bring an ache,
When time reveals truth, real love will not forsake.
Inside, where love is born, aside from the heartbreak,
Despite doubts, hearts agree, love is not a mistake.

Premium Member Lost Love

Mesmerized by the fire in his warm eyes
Love played over my soul, softly glowing
Beautiful alive, like glorious skies
Singing wonders to my life, hopes growing
Feelings so perfect I could not disguise
Love so tender. my whole heart was showing
Breaking through the darkness, hushing my fears
Stirring my best dreams, silencing my tears

With him, I could feel my heart skip two beats
Joy echoed the love living inside me
Where I found beauty so full it defeats
Every feeling of despair so I’m free
To be the woman who feels, in heartbeats
Sure that what has come is what’s meant to be
The best of the best, the most joyful kiss
Blended with gentle and filled with sweet bliss

I lost him to the past where he’s buried
Fate would reveal the truth, so heartbreaking
Through so many years, the pain I carried
Awaiting love that would be earthshaking
Felt like he could’ve been who I married
Now, I know it wasn’t love in the making
Sometimes I wonder about this lost love
Alhough I’m sure he wasn’t sent from above

Gentle as the wings of a soaring dove,
silently climbing, through the skies above,
gliding, graceful, among stars – precious love,
stirring wonders, earthshaking.

Laughing and dancing like rustling leaves,
reassuring the spirit who fears, who greaves,
coloring the moments with hope that believes,
there, weeping – a heart breaking.

Arising in the morning, a new joy, a new life,
His love inspires faith full of light, without strife,
assuring hearts there is a promise of the afterlife,
a beautiful so amazing, breathtaking.

Fresh dreams, new things come in the morning,
it’s a grace so alive, bringing hunger without warning,
speaking of life eternal – I’ll give you a forewarning,
Jesus love assures there is no mistaking.

Reflections of pink, and gold on heaven’s floor,
a hint of memories that came millenniums before,
and the radiance of God’s glory, eying from behind the shore,
is a new dawn, for our taking.

Warming thoughts rousing dreams, in prayers,
for the faith to always know His love repairs,
His light is a glimpse into a hope without tears,
promising forever is where I’ll be waking.

Shadows fall, hastening to color dawn in hues,
blushing rose, lavender and tender blues,
the peace He brings my soul will never confuse,
grateful for Him – yes, my soul is shaking.

Fault Line

I never could have predicted
That I would leave in such a way
Circumstances brought me to a place
Where I could no longer stay

The legalistic rules
All of them, hypocritical fools

In all of their getting
They were too stupid to retain
Any measure of learning
For the mentally insane

Justify, justify, justify
Then they have the nerve to testify

.........of God's deliverance

Who needs that crap
When there is life to be livin'
I'll not give one more moment
To eternal grave diggin'

I'm going to run to boat loads of fun
Until I am filled up, good and done

But don't be lookin' for me
To darken a church house door
I'm a sippin' saint
Who won't bow to "law" anymore

But, I'll hold on to what God hates
Surely he'll let me in those pearly gates

............WHAT???
..............................Mama's dead

I can't........................breathe

Note: This has been the most difficult write of my life, and it is not autobiographical...that's probably why. Anyway, when reading the poem, think about how a fault line works, and hopefully, you will have an earthshaking experience.

Premium Member The Littlest Waterfall

We love when we have the chance…to experience something earthshaking…
like sitting beside a waterfall…listening to the music she is making.

Each waterfall is made up of endless individual streams of water…
blending into one graceful symphony…
as they cascade over the edge…on their way to lakes or rivers or seas.

We love the harmony of a waterfall…each tiny tributary adding to the theme..
but when listening to a large waterfall…
it is impossible to isolate the music of each stream.

The other day we were lucky…when we noticed on a rock wall….
flowing by itself…the littlest waterfall.

We almost missed her at first…there on the rock face…all alone…
one tiny stream of water…cascading on her own.

But when we finally spotted her…and listened to the music she was making
we realized even the littlest waterfall could also be earthshaking.

We definitely heard a flute…emanating from the water flow
in the background…the rhythm of a drumbeat…and at times…a piccolo.

For a little while we listened to her music…to her melody ebb and flow…
then thanked her for her concert…when it was time to go.

We rolled our windows down…so we could listen to her play
until we drove around a bend…and her music faded away

We were quiet as we drove…still feeling enchanted and enthralled
for having been blessed to experience the music…
of the littlest waterfall..
