Steadfast in the faith you should be constantly
Invest well in God’s kingdom-business faithfully
Gird yourself for the Lord’s soon coming earnestly
Now and onward, live for Him victoriously!
Occurrences as signs of times* are sure warnings
Falsehood attacks; thus, discern real meanings…
Tribulations’ distresses are sad happenings
Hardships’ trials must be cause for trust-refinings
Expect wars to triumph only by Christ’s winnings!
To prepare; be ready always should be your goal
Ignorance, you must vanquish; fight fears of your soul
Mount upward; ascend toward fruitful service-pole
Entrust your life to God Who knows your best and whole
Seek to help; fulfill your blessed steward**-role!
*Matthew 16:3 ...O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
**1Peter 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

August 6 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 42-44
Key Verse – Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
HEART THAT ACKNOWLEDGES THE LORD AND HIS GLORY
Our heart acknowledges the Lord and His glory despite our misery
When we are lonely, being pitiful and solitary
Feeling sorry as if enclosed around unbelief-treachery---
Here we are, seeking for His love, full of victory.
Our heart acknowledges the Lord and His glory despite our affliction
When we are weak, murmuring over dissatisfaction
Feeling sick in battling against worldliness-temptation---
Here we are, begging for His help and direction.
Our heart acknowledges the Lord and His glory despite our bitterness
When we are envious, magnifying scarcity’s emptiness
Feeling jealous about others’ resources’ bountifulness---
Here we are, trusting His provisions of ready supply-goodness.
Our heart acknowledges the Lord and His glory despite our discontentment
When we are frustrated, losing heavenly excitement
Feeling worthless in wallowing into vanity-predicament---
Here we are, reaching out to His kindness’ fulfillment.
Our heart acknowledges the Lord and His glory despite our insecurity
When we are fearful, trembling at faith-advancement opportunity
Feeling unable in moving forward, upward beyond any adversity---
Here we are, depending on His strength’s great stability.
Our heart acknowledges the Lord and His glory despite our arrogance
When we are haughty, pursuing over earthly fame and abundance
Feeling self-sufficient in our accomplishment-driven endurance---
Here we are, surrendering to His majesty of divine elegance and extravagance.
Our heart acknowledges the Lord and His glory despite our distresses
When we are dismayed, sinking deep into lamentation that oppresses
Feeling depressed in succumbing to discouraging discourses---
Here we are, praising His name for forgiving our offenses.

Growing old and fossil like is dumb
It takes the fun out of living past three
Three used to be my favorite hour
What a bummer
I've simply run out of power
What will I do with all my dollies
Retire them...set them out to pasture
Should I put my swirly lollipops in a museum
To lose their color and flavor in the coming days
And what about my gold fish Louey
He loved to drink the water and tell the truth
Will it turn gray and moldy too
Flushed down the toilet to its doom
There was so much pizzazz to life when I was young
I don't know what to do
Birthdays are trouble without a doubt
I have to learn how to count past three
Can't even enjoy cartoons and afternoon tea
Little girls grow out of climbing trees too
No more pretty pink dresses
And I didn't even get a pony for Christmas
That distresses me beyond belief
I think I'm going to cry
I'm too young to die
It is so difficult being four
I wish I could be four forever more
Mother, you are God’s good and great gift to me indeed
Opening and offering to my personhood … realities’ essence which I need
Teaching and training me well through your word and deed
Hoisting up my mind with truth; hedging my heart with love, devoid of greed
Enabling and empowering me by your motherhood roles along Scripture-creed
Raising and rearing up my spirituality to grow in the faith from the Gospel seed!
Dear Mother*, I praise the Lord for you and your grace-anchored sacrifices
Expert are you in exposing me to God’s wonders by your awesome experiences
Ardent truly in prodding me to do my best against mediocrity-forces
Radiant always in cheering me up midst frustration distresses
Earnest constantly in admonishing me while enclosing me with prayer embraces
Steadfast in your devotion to God as seen in your worship’s praises!
Thank you, so much, Mom; I love you. Your presence---my heart surely misses.
* Proverbs 31:28-31 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

When life is miserable and bad
When circumstances make you sad
When one after another problems abound
Like a phoenix you raise
from the ashes of agony
and smile in utter faith
When physical pain distresses
When you lack strength to live
When medicines fail to cure
Like a phoenix you raise
from the ashes of pain
ignoring it, carry on with life
When faced with hard to resolve problems
When mind is perplexed for want of solution
When you feel struck up from all sides
Like a phoenix you raise
from ashes of contemplation
leave your worries to God, be calm
Like a phoenix you raise
Your towering personality
Amidst worldly chaos
Resolve to be happy, calm, unperturbed
Inspire others, achieve peace
Never give up, never die
Like a phoenix raise again and again
More resolute, more strong
Show the world nothing can kill
your ambitions, your happiness, your calmness
Life is a saga of dualities
Along with happiness, sadness abounds
We endure it from birth till death
After death like phoenix we raise from ashes
Take another birth and suffer unabated
Ask yourself how to end it all
Try for salvation, to see your soul
Then like a phoenix you raise from ashes
Leave mortal world, become one with God
End all your problems, attain infinite bliss
Like a phoenix you raise!

ARROW OF HOPE
Often loss or failure,
No way but to endure.
Whether ailments to cure,
Not could be always sure,
Arrow of Hope soothes us.
Adverse circumstances,
Confronting hindrances,
Entwined grievances,
Bitter experiences,
Arrow of Hope makes ambitious.
To travel on path of life
as explorer in each strife,
Distresses, miseries are rife,
piercing with ruthless knife,
Arrow of Hope marvels us.

From failures after pity party, I rise, upheld by God’s mercy*
Directed toward faith-performance ascent
Pressing on, vanquishing doubts.
Fervently following biblical instruction
I strive against frustration-pulls
Overcoming distresses caused by pity party.
Allowing not my spirit to wallow in misery
Midst desperation-attacks, I persist after pity party
While the Lord steers me upward.
*Psalm 33:22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Damsel In Distress
Galant Knight in shining armor,
riding high against the wind,
Fighting the dragon for the damsel,
Royal Prince of the King, for Lady Earth’s soul to win.
Thorns and thickets in deepest forests,
Cries heard by wolves to ravish men,
Save the damsel in her distresses,
How shall her timeless story end.
Behind gates of solid pearl and gold,
Only one found worthy to defend,
Fighting the dragon day and evening,
Not to let the dragon win.
He is her knight in shining armor,
Relentless to fight from start to end,
Willing to die in crucifixion,
Raised up to conquer death and sin.
Young maiden promised bride to give Him,
Forever to the very end,
Her heart and soul, rewards the bravest,
The King’s most noble among men.
Fearless One with sword and shield,
The fight of a lifetime for a friend,
To save her from the fierce monster,
Captured her heart, for her soul to win.
Born with the skin I'm in
likely for all my life,
the color, some describe to be
a shade of pasty white.
Those sunshine rays
are no friend to me,
I seek the shade as shelter,
and safety beneath the trees.
I've suffered the pain of many burns,
some as close to third degree,
my skin tone is so white,
it at times distresses me.
Never will I get a tan,
my skin is melanin free,
a pinkish hue for color,
is as close as I'll ever be.
No time is spent at beaches
or drifting with the tides,
the shore provides no places,
for a guy like me to hide.
If it seems like I'm complaining,
perhaps, that could be true.
My whiteness curse or privilege
well.....
I'll leave that up to you.
2 Corinthians 12:10 ~ "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."
~ The Holy Bible
When I'm bogged down by fears,
Then He reminds, "Be not afraid",
When I'm troubled with tears,
Then He tells me, "Don't be dismayed";
When future's bleak,
He comes along,
When I am weak,
Then am I strong;
When I'm filled with sorrows,
Then He assures, "Be of good cheer",
When I'm tensed 'bout morrows,
Then He comforts, "I'm with you, dear";
When cares exhaust,
He unwinds me,
When I feel lost,
Then He finds me;
When I'm mired in worries,
Then He whispers, "Be filled with peace",
When stalled as time hurries,
Then He confirms, "Wait, be still, cease";
When my feet slip,
He steadies me,
With His strong grip
then readies me.
