There's No Dimension In My Giving

Have I ever loved another with true feeling?
Which other love lifts me to infinite heights?
And reaching for you in the shadows of morning,
the purity of thoughts dismisses external frights.
Have I ever measured the wonder of love's might?
It keeps on giving truly through light or darkness;
I must love you limitlessly, denying you no right...
I must love you faithfully, accepting all praises.
I must love you with the trueness of heart I choose,
making good use of it, not inflicting a bruise...
remembering grief and the adolescence's trust;
in joy and in pain, God's will I will be obeying.
After I'm dead, my promise will awaken at last,
delighted that there's no dimension in my giving.

Tribute To Silence

The mountains engulf and embrace me,
Like the sun shining through a window,
Pulverising the darkness and gloom,
With hopefulness and truth,
Making me aware of my possibilities,
Not numerous but few -
Allowing me to choose between two.

I prioritise, and focus just on one goal,
Resolve to achieve my ambition,
Find in myself my actions and am spurred on,
To proportion the gulf which stares up at me:
The chasm flees when normal people interact;
The unsaid but spoken disappears instantly,
Providing me with care constantly.

The view exists as humankind exists,
But while many people beg to differ with one another,
Nature eats up those who can't be edified -
Those who augment it with a god to trace,
Whatever is said, whatever is done,
Mustn’t be normal, easy - natural,
But rather should be contrived and conventional.

That we evolved is dear and liberating,
As a lover who wets her beholder’s cheek:
Faithful relationships soothe our spirits,
Connecting us with nature and public;
I know I came from the mountains and the hills,
From which I take courage, vigour and have duty,
From rugged, sheer beauty.

Is this beauty crude, or does it manage,
The looks of my accusers who bare me?
It dismisses them with assumptive glare,
Kindness gently certifies their stabbing buzz,
Until heaven and hell are constructs waiting to touch:
Which, but for the inside’s surmise, will indeed myself mar,
And but for my silent thoughts, which do the spartans bar.

The view also relinquishes flightiness for me to pour,
Over the collars of the parallel and the same:
Marched in by sociopathers, the directors of freedom;
I receive from naturalism’s stance, it's posit,
Billowing amounts of heart, drive and chance,
And decide to accept the opportunities which will embrace -
In concern - with well-being, affection and grace.

My suspicions, intentions and instincts see the complex,
How it should be deconstructed, with pleasure,
Out with the validated by a clergyman or Christian leader,
Who evince as harder and more boring than nails;
What entails then stimulates on into waving meadows,
And so, not silenced by the silence I sit in having cried -
Feeling accepted and taken - I'm respected to them deride.

Eye Don'T See -Part 4-

My heart is beating with upbeat delight
You astound me…in every shape and form
My spirit is dancing with unbreakable might
You surprise me…when you take my hand
And pull me outtah my jail-like dorm

And He dismisses me from my solitude…
My eyes are glistening with bliss…
And I’m far from my demise…
Only to find that there’s no need to feel helpless

Why do you spoil me rotten with your fatherly affection?

Just protect me from any harm
Let me make my own decisions…
To see the results in the long run

You prize me as if I’m cherished like your carefree child
You don’t understand – I’m TOO foolish and wild
I haven’t even reached to full maturity
But how eye hope to see myself grow and be set free
From the world’s mayhem
Is there a solution to this problem?

And I’m left with no answer…
My eyes are eager to see…another bright day
And the night is coming to haunt me…
I find myself slowly disappearing from sight…
When will God give me a purpose to fight?
When will He feed me His awesome might?

Just support me…especially during my downfalls
Please answer my calls!

And I’m left to venture off into His path…

Eye can’t escape my terrible nightmares
Consider my calls of acceptance…my grief weighs a ton
Let me pour forth my tears –
Do me a favor and cast away my fears
Steer me away from disorder and confusion

Eye can see you’re making great progress
You’re heading towards a brighter, superb future…

My eyes
No longer witness oblivion
My eyes
Looks beyond the earthly pain…
bEyOnD the affliction

I spot a rope in the distance. . . . .

Push aside the waves…and let me
Grab it this instant!
God feeds me His love…and treats me
Like a newborn infant!

Eye see my Father with brand-new eyes
I feel rare content
And I feel hardly any resentment

Eye
cherish
that
REMARKABLE
moment

Premium Member Fruit of Faith

Failure is a weed that sprouts from unbelief,
Choking out the more desirable fruit of faith.
Marvel at how God weeds out unbelief:
The little girl's confidence in God's power,
The prophet's reliance on the supernatural.

Watch Ben-Hadad rely on his own natural ability,
Dismissing the little girl's and Naaman's hope.
"I will use the wealth stolen from the Israelites,
By the brilliant raids of my captain, Naaman,
And start more conflict with the king of Israel!"

And the evil one came and snatched away the seed.

Jehoram, Israel's king, relies on his own ability,
For he has already defected from God in his heart,
And dismisses any help from Yahweh's prophet.
"I cannot cure this man from his skin disease!
Ben-Hadad looks for an excuse to fight me!"

And without sufficient root, his belief withered.

Marvel at how God's plan unfolds:
"There is a prophet in Israel, send him to me!
This did not originate in the mere will of man!
Do not judge until God's purposes are complete!
This will not be just a physical cure!"

And God prepares some good soil in Naaman's heart.

What is the way of approach to ignorant Naaman?
The gods of Naaman will fall in this encounter.
God conceals His sovereign control by Design.
Naaman's proud spirit judges God's choices,
For it is Satan's last-ditch effort to thwart.

And sinners try to erect their own standards.

Man is not the cure for himself-
Expecting cleansing in accord with his dignity.
Humiliation and faith pave the way to remedy.
"Wash in a river inferior to those of my own?!"
Naaman erupts in a boiling rage - ready to curse!

And God breaks up the hardness of pride in him.

The appeal is simple faith in God's provision.
As Naaman obeyed in faith, he was healed-
From both physical and spiritual leprosy!
"Now I know there is no God except in Israel!"
He was changed from self-serving to servant.

And the good soil understands and bears fruit.

There is no substitute for the Lord, Gehazi.
Why put your missionary commission at risk?
Ironically, Naaman's leprosy will cling to you!
What you would have inherited is forfeited.
You have joined the ranks of Eli and Saul.

And desire for riches choke the seed, yielding nothing.

Unsafe Relationship's

In the labyrinth of love, we dance on shards,
An unsafe relationship, where passion guards.
Our hearts entwined, a dangerous affair,
Fragile emotions, suspended in the air.

Bound by desire, we crave the forbidden,
Like a wildfire raging, our souls smitten.
Beneath the moon's gaze, we share stolen kisses,
A clandestine union that passion dismisses.

Yet, in this abyss, we find no solace true,
For danger lurks in every rendezvous.
Deception's embrace, a treacherous blend,
Leaving us vulnerable, hearts on the mend.

We tiptoe on razors, with trembling desire,
Knowing that our love will soon expire.
An unsafe relationship, a thrill and a fright,
We dance on the edge, embracing the night.

But deep down we know, this love cannot sustain,
A foundation of secrets, built upon pain.
So we release our grip, let go and depart,
For an unsafe relationship can't mend a broken heart.

Factual

This morning is dangerously close to truth.
The sunlight is in bold print,
the figurative blocked out in black and white.

The under-brain
(that sleepy chameleon with diamond eyes),
blinks at a high-rise concrete reality,
eschews poetry for a stark reportage.

The summer blooms and hummingbirds
are not wooden, yet their picturesque
mien and dress
belong in a less brazen realism.

Nothing much flies in more subjective skies.
Beneath an introspective sea
just a few fanciful thought-threads
dangle loosely from misty metaphyseal squids.

The mind must turn to arcane myths
for unobjectified mysticism,
however a short-sighted ground hog
dismisses these inner reflections
as it eats an existential
bright red geranium.

Way To Perdition

The Man is lying naked.
This filthy pavement is his abode.
The Man is emaciated and famishing.
And he never begs for alms,
Proud and conceited.
The road is busier than ever.
No one takes interest in him.
No one catches a glimpse at him.
And a few feign not having seen him at all.

The time fleets on, the cars move on,
The Man is lying naked.

At the first blush, far from being a beggar
Is the Man.
He is well-complexioned with big glamorous eyes.
His face is sleek and his hair shines against
The lustrous sunbeams.
His eyes are gleeful, but mournful is his heart.
Penniless though, his craving for gold is sheer.
He ogles at the gold brought by the people around.
But he never begs for alms,
Proud and conceited.
Then someone nears him and asks who he is.
After much vacillation, he dismisses his taciturnity.
“Mankind is my name”, he replies.

The time fleets on, the cars move on,
The Man is lying naked.

Premium Member Unconscious Bias

Unconscious bias can upset one's heart
if kin or friends might shun your written art-
to look upon good poetry as play-
negating words that might uplift their day.

Some think of poetry as silly writes
that jumble words and do not meet the rights
to be upheld as literary worth-
with any thoughtful meanings to unearth.

     Perhaps poetic metaphors give pause
and render writers void of earned applause.
     Ambiguity somehow dismisses sense;
unconscious bias- inborn to commence.

Most poets may unveil views quite obscure
that sometimes deems their sanity unsure
by those who harbor this unconscious fact-
and hold back ways by which they should react.

We're thankful other poets read our art
with no unconscious bias on their part.
     They understand the nuances displayed
in chosen thoughts so artfully conveyed.

Bereft of Halloween exposure gain
in a family where such is inane
alien to her, but curiosity prods…
since truth she seeks beyond trickery stain.

Readying herself for challenging bout
she must triumph over attacking doubt
midst reality of souls, sucking blood
in their scheduled children abduction route.

With cautionary zeal, she strives to wait
perhaps lurking vampires today are late
yet, she prays as fear starts gripping her heart…
smiting the feeling of paralyzed state.

Propped by courage from learned Bible story
she dismisses thoughts against what’s gory
cognizant of diabolical schemes
Satan keeps sowing for evil’s glory.

Now, feasting on the peace* of God so sweet
she praises Him for secured love complete
indeed, grateful for bestowed hallowed win
