Inside
Fearing the demons you create inside
The ones that you try to hide
Never to confide
From it you have always fled
So deep is it in your head
Your life you live in fear
you cry so many a tear
Tormented by all around
Screaming without a sound
Darkness fills your soul deep
Go ahead pray your soul to keep
For no reason you weep
Time seems to slow
What's wrong ,you don't know
Everything seems to go wrong
Nowhere do you feel you belong
Lost your way
Nowhere safe to stay
Lost in your mind
Where the demons you find
I know the battle has made you weak
But this peace you seek
Is deep inside
Beyond the place you hide
I must confide
Accept the conflict you feel
Do this to heal
Face what it is you fear
Release that bitter tear
Your fear you must face
Your demon you must embrace
No disgrace
Accept and release
The pain from inside
From life you will no longer have to hide
I know this is true
No matter what you do
You must face your fear
Cry a cleansing tear
Be strong inside
Face that from which you hide
It can drive you insane
Holding all that pain
So much to gain
The demon buried so deep
The reason you weep
Let it go
This I know
I hope to show
What all can be
If you just set yourself free
This demon you hold causes you pain untold
Embrace your fears
Release them tears
Open your eyes and see
To set yourself free
Hope is the key
My words are true
I believe in you
All the fears in your mind
Step up , leave them behind
You carry such strength inside
This battle you face now
You know how
I hope I've shown
Your not alone
I'm there by your side
So don't hide
Don't ever fear
I'm near
Together we can talk
Hand in hand we will walk
From this darkness you feel
Together we can heal
That's my deal

The Age Of Man

The Age of Man

We carried on
The age of man
Till moon of tin bore
An electric sun

And all machines
Shone bright and clean
Keeping silent
But wanting more

Till the purpose mind
Did loose its time
In idle waves lament
Through prostitution of evolution
A self induced torrent

Took his mind till eyes fell blind
Unraveled the very core
To spit it bright into the night
Every secret that endured

Till all the stars fell off in drought
Withered at the root
Every galaxy was brought to knee
By the embassy we took

And God came down
To spy our crown
In towers that we command
As every tree
Laid low to be
A place that we should stand

While all the earth
Gave up its worth
Mountains fell to sand
But those machines
All we could see
God left us standing there

So gathering the ways
Of all his days
His books and all his score
Scattered it high into the sky
Into the cloud he stored

Every thought
That effort bought
By page, pen and grave
And set to fire
By all his ire
Knowledge eons gave

While dirt of earth gave up its worth
Lay idle, a broken land
Gave lifeless life unto the night
And Metal, a full command

Till from the hearth soulless marched
The field of Mars and woe
To stand in line as engines grind
In that womb steel did grow

From something other
Than a loving mother
A milk of gasoline
In burning oil and writhing toil
A demon she did wean

So the thought machine
Did kiss our dream
As man must lay to rest
But that unblinking eye
Our thoughts did spy
And developed its own interests

And not one of we
Did need to be
Said that steel abhorrent pet
And once the master, fell fast, then faster
Until not one of we were left

An an age for I
The lidless eye
Not troubled by truth or dare
Stays unseen
By human being
And continues its lifeless stair

And rain came down from man made cloud
In that fog the Godless kept
All the ways until that day
And away it all was swept

Premium Member Clown At the Abyss-

Oh, Clown at the abyss;
We’re not laughing at you;
Not funny tis true, you're falling
This we do insist;
a comic entertainer one in a circus, you're falling
wearing a traditional costume and exaggerated makeup.
Lo! Grecian fall unsophisticated rustic;
Falling...
Zanni yonder foolish fool rustique;
Keeper of, costume competitions;
Zany fool jester falling so fustic,
Clown at the abyss;
We’re not laughing at you;
Not funny tis true;
This we do insist;
Not laughing
Clown falling down into the opera pit so mystique,
In addition, while in transition stamp;
Dressed White face, Auguste and Tramp;
All three clowns take a bow fall into the abyss
And just what is this
Still you falling...
Abyss a place where rustic fools fold and fall
Clown at the abyss;
Down into an clevis;
You falling...
We’re not laughing at you;
Not funny tis true;
This we do insist;
You’re a clown
And you’ve falling down;
No one laughing anymore;
Cause ya, not funny you’re a bore;
Harlequin comedian;
Merry Andrew takes also a bow;
As the demon boo those falling clowns;
You see when you’re not funny you fall;
Clown at the abyss;
You won’t be placed on a second stage call;
You’re a clown
And you’ve falling down;
No one laughing anymore;
Clown, clown at the abyss;

Premium Member What Is One

One is only as strong as their weaknesses
There amongst the soul a feel to survive
Failure, not option but choice one chooses
What is one but only what you make
A person of integrity you bend rules
Among the stranger we call friends
Your morals fall way side to impress
Being like the world we forget
Who is one except they be different
That in yourself you be one
A fine example to mankind you paint

A footprint one wants to follow
To be like but not be of
Setting our own, each one a replica
Made of similar human DNA
Same emotions but yet not same
Different mindset could carry attitude
We struggle to change, even demon that walks
Who is one but their own success
Trail of many a different step
But the same initiative the path

Wanting to achieve goal of life
To live, be free, to know love
To know our own self is deep
But are you willing to go its depths
Where darkness is fear's hunger
But your faith, light at end of tunnel
What is one, only what you allow to exist

Premium Member Your Suspicions Will Never Grow

What you gonna do now you know?
What are you going to do?
I've seen all the ages of your kind
I've seen all that your humanity can do!

Now you think you know what I am
How can you hurt me?
When you know that I'm not alive and not dead
How can you stand in front or challenge me when you know I command the army of the dead?

What you gonna do?
Somehow tell on me?
Somehow convince others what it is you think you know?
They'll laugh at your insanity
Your suspicions will never grow

You can ask one question that I'll answer
But each word will cost you one of your loved ones souls

What you gonna do now about me?
If I choose to I can blink one blink to break all of your bones
As we stand here in the rain falling
Each drop could represent a soul taken
A soul consumed by me, a soul that now I own.

There are forces alive and happening
There are good and bad and then me
I'm here to crush someone I don't see
But I know one day he'll have to face me

Go away little man, go away from me
Go away and go mad knowing what you know
Go drive yourself into your own insanity
Knowing that I exist and that I you can't overthrow

What you gonna do now you know about me?
What do you really think I am, wait....I know
That makes me smile 'cos you don't know
You found some things out about me
You found some keys to doors where you shouldn't go
But they only gave you a glance at the real me

I'm no ghost, I'm no demon, no fallen angel

This is Satan standing here in front of you, you know.

Sandy Hook

Tell the Moms it didn't happen
Tell the Dads it isn't so
Pretty little roses blooming
In the garden – row on row –
Pretty little blossoms folding
Petals falling to the floor
Falling into angels rising
Sprouting wings on which to soar

Smite the gunman at the trigger!
Seize the madman at the gun!
Little voices in the hallway
Little faces in the sun
Little feet upon the heavens
With the morning just begun –

Strike the harp, and hold the fiddle
Let the bells peal out the tune
Mournful as the lonely shepherd
'Ere the clock is noon
Mourning for his little flock
Going home too soon

– And when the news had broken
And gotten all abroad
The stoutest of the stoutest hearts
Could only weep aloud
For here the pact was broken
For here the seal was lost
For here the children were not spared
The devil's holocaust

And startled in his earthly robes
His heart gone sudden cold
Himself a witness to the siege
Even God arose
And with a savage grace
That moved without a sound
Turned the barrel on itself
And with the final round
Emptied out the chamber
And smote the demon down –

The theme park was crowded. Elephants on roller coasters, mosquitos bracing the water slide, ferrets enjoying the ferris wheel and leopards shooting crack in the gallery. A myriad of personification and abundance of fairy tailed suggestions. ‘Its a small, small world’ blared from Magic Mountain as Cinderella dressed up as an indentured laborer in a fancy shoe shop. A comedy of terror ensued in the ghost train, conducted by a retired wall street banking giant resuming the corporate identity of a demon slayer. seemingly seeking redemption, but of course, he had another ace in his sleeve.
All animals were equal but of course the apocalypse had struck in 1984 and the Lord of the Flies was buzzing disguised as an orange clock, collected tickets and sold strawberry ice cream.

An English patient from a nearby lunatic asylum, thought he was a beetle, but Kafka had married Mary Antoinette and was sipping champagne from her braw. She, for once was not eating cake and was thus unveiling the myth of leavened bread at her altar. A merry go round of deception in the snake pit in which a contortionist was trapped in limbo and loin cloth from hell. Mary Magdalene teased him with with a vile of anti venomous serum and soothed his wavering agony in anticipation of saving the world.

Hot cross buns offered cold comfort, but the world was on withdrawal after management had banned coke as a sugar substitute. Sweet dreams were made of lactose free roach skin and the party dwellers reveled in aspirations and nightmares, elevated to prime position in the national canon. A truly amazing ode to joy and poignant distraction from the pawn shop of modern living.

But when the bell struck midnight and Dali melted his digital clock, all went back to the nothingness of the human condition. ‘Your shift starts in eight hours, nothing has moved because of a little fun in paradise’s ante chambers.’ Thanks God the crowd were already wearing their flannel night gowns. ‘Gotta live life to the full and heaven can’t wait.

Dead Spiders Weave

“It’s a terrible love
And I’m walking with spiders…
It’s a terrible love and I’m walking in
Its quiet company…”-Birdy

Three long claws enclosed around a lone beating heart
Stone talons gripping in happy malice, silently angry by its pulse it cannot feel…

The longer I stare into the hollow sockets seeing only ugliness,
The easier it becomes to break into pieces over the mere thought of you
I thought it was a dull beat- a throbbing, fading beat disappearing into the night…
Though your image, once so grainy, is becoming clearer and clearer in the fogs of my consciousness
I thought it was just a dull, callous beat…
But the more it throbs against the stone, the more the stone cracks
The more the demon cries in anguish…the more I fall

So deeply in love have I become,
I can barely breathe in this misty embrace
The suspense of your blows make my innards whimper…make my mind shiver
My tearful eyes cry for your assurance
My body changes through the peeks of your light

It is all a joke!
This is all pathetic, low, meaningless!
Surely these claws over this heart do not exist
Holding onto nothing but dead spiders who once weaved miracles
Dust and spider legs….spider eyes…they had seen so much…felt so much with their prickly appendages
Through a lovely peephole beyond the three stoned fingers…
I see the entire world where they must have crawled
A world holding you…
If only I could hold you too…

Something tells me I would never let go if I had the chance
Something tells me I would crush you
I would turn you into dust and spider legs…

And yes, as all demons enjoy, I would lose you
In the grip of the three stoned fingers

Unless…
You were that heart I thought I had seen…
The heart that continued to beat long after it was ripped out
The clenched heart that throbbed despite its crushing cage
The very heart that bled and bled for no body and all for the sake of love
Beating and beating, cracking those frigid fingers
Into dust…
And all of the fallen limbless creatures would gather round…
And they would tell me… “He lives yet still…”
Weaving in their webs the very bloods and salts you pumped
Within me…and beyond me

Dead spiders weave and weave and weave…
And unlike human hearts, their ideas never tire
