Premium Member Plaza Del Canon

Ibiza's St Eularia has a pleasant
playground square, the Plaza del Canon,
above the Carrer Molins de Rei,
and below the longer Carrer del Mar.

One corner, with its small cafe,
is the shady side to meet,
holding loosely to the doggy lead
sipping coffee, nibbling treats.

The grannies and the mothers
watch their children run and play
and splash and soak in fountains
at the cooling of the day.

When school let's out for evening
with Ramo's bouquets on display
Older children drop their rucksacks
and their school bags with their caps

to ride upon the nodding horse,
slide down upon their backs.
At five o'clock precisely
the fountains are switched on

where the youngest run and scream
between, one with his panties gone.
Flinging high his stubby arms,
head barely reached by hands,

And lifting an almighty shout
he let's a glory sound come out,
a loud and joyful Yaaay!!
an exaltant and a great hooray!

This bursting of unbridled joy
fast rising from within
has broken from this little boy
through his wide and toothless grin.

Behind him sits a naked demon,
St Eularia's fond Familiar, cast in
bronze he sits within a rowing boat
his hands upon two oars

with his genitals exposed,
and stick-thin limbs, his gargoil face
and grin, disguise the fears that should arise
but it seems that no one knows

real dangers that familiars pose.
This rowing demon waits for growing
children to wander and to stray,
to clamber in his boat one day

and then he'll row away.

Premium Member DENTRO DEL AULA DEL PROFESOR DE INGLES-Inside the English Teacher's Classroom

A metal desk, dog-eared books, peeling shelves,
a teaching job I took in spite of myself.

Desperation. No time to think, just sign and go
across the state, no chance to know.

What waited there: dust, barren land, and desert heat~
Ninth graders entered with eager smiles and respectful feet.

Their nods so quick, their hungry eyes so bright
masked a language gap and a wall of fright.

August heat burned like molten brass; the A/C died~
we fled outside for relief in the desert wide.

Across the desert three dust storms spun like signs of death
El Diablo trae mala suerte! they shouted in horrified breath.

They spoke in a language I didn’t understand~
Oh dear! Their English vocabulary I must expand.

Not books, not curriculum~I’d have to take a stand.
I’ll use comic books! became my secret, unconventional plan

Seventh-grade books replaced the rest;
my students gave their all, their very best.

The risks were high, the stakes bold and clear,
but desperation sharpened my goals, sincere.

My students learned; their English skills grew
from stumbling words to sentences true.

Please Baby Please Del Segno

Simply put
since it's worth mentioning
thought I'd bring this to your
attention
I don't wannabe like this
only to walk away
what can I say
tell me what
can I say
People you disappoint
I try to impress
sometimes
it aint about just you
Think of more than yourself
what I am gonna say
about you and I
when they ask me are ya'll
together
I don't wanna cry
I dpn't wanna cry

Love champions some
and saves plenty
Love aint worth a pile of beans
when you got to many
Lovers hear what I say
My lover take heed
it's you and I
it's you and I
Darling you know what I mean
take your time make me
the center of your
effections
keep me lover
keep me
don't keep me guessing

Costa Del Boy Essex?

Their ma & pa were Eastenders

Blah blah..don’t remember the Blitz

Brash Cockney pretenders..same flash apparel

Let's get our mitts on a stash of Aperol spritz

Dimwits just going on benders

Bawdy tawdry mockney skits

Gits getting off their t*ts

Twits showing off their bits

Who fits?..Identikit Brits..pout

All about the clout of gaudy glitz

Silhouettes of stiletto dancers & handbags

Riff raff as naff as an 80’s cornetto

Perms & permatans..sl*gs..fancy dans in glad rags

Rhyming slang falsetto twang libretto

Chancers on a stag..s*ag nip & tuck hags

Nags of WAGS made up to the nines

Brag after cocaine lines did blag

One snag..look like a dag in drag

All from the fashion label stable

No restraint.. cannot refrain

Grandstand the brands fable

Diadora diaspora ..Fila Villa

With a Pierre Cardin Jardin

Taint just like they do in Spain

Sex..success…the way you dress

Prosecco fizz...getting in a tizz

Gilded specs and builded pecs

Greed and that need to impress

Avoid don't feed this schadenfreude hell

That is indeed called Costa Del ESSEX

That's when del segno

It's a sincere compliment
you know you are very
important to me
bring it up
only to change my mind
guess you wanna know
why I'm acting so
sweet and kind
guess you recognize it
by the way I make you feel
keeping it real
I'm in love with you

Keeping it real
even though I don't know
what I'm talking about
we got it over
and whn we didn't have much
to say
love soothed all the
heartache away
kissed me and then
a whisper
tonight we started loving
each other again
cause your more then a fre
tonight we start loving
 one another again

Looked out the window
saw you coming in
opened the door
for my best friend
saw your smile
and that's when
I was so in love
and I'm still in love
say you love me
and I'll say I love you too
aint knowthing in the
world I won't do
you know it's true

Premium Member Madrid Del Dia

Senses overwhelmed, history revealed,
           I step into Plaza Mayor.
Antique hues of pinks and grays stun.
           Madrid welcomes me.

    Late sun casts golden shadows.
          Camaraderie envelops.
I peel my brain for words.

       Spanish brass serenades,
           a musical aperitif.
       Thoughts turn to supper,
           as I walk and walk.

I see it, “Menu del Dia” in amber and red.
        Savory breeze guides me.
It reads, "Tapas, Chorizo y Jamon",
              I can’t resist

      Vino Tinto completes me
         as I wonder the day.

                 9/28/17

Everyone said, “Always order the Menu del Dia”
With that and little else, I headed for Spain

Premium Member Hacienda Del Sol

The sun is overjoyed
 reaching its zenith
suspending in cloudless sapphire skies
 in a scarlet lit horizon
its solar sheen is veiled,
beyond the handsome hacienda
 hidden from ancient alibis
a time of musings I can’t resist
I paint a likeness of her,
wistful watercolor bursts
 highlights by brushed strokes
gently caressing her skin, she wears
an unrestrained ear to ear grin
 recherché, warmth rare
as a ruby red stone
a sonorous soprano’s tone
 ravened tresses cascade unruly
copious tangled locks flow wild
 within stirs the silver stars,
she perceives the wisdom in the callow
 & indelible in the wise
youths’ oval ebony, &soulful eyes
a generous yet haunting sad smile,
transcending space &time
it rids me of my harden heart’s denial

on a quest of her own,
  a love child grown

…&so has a
        a mother’s love

Premium Member Dulce Del Diablo Stornello

Place it on my tongue, Dulce del Diablo.
I am available with nowhere to go,
I will follow your lead, I will be in tow.

Let’s make a mockery of my dancing shoes,
prolongate the melody what do you choose?
Do not let me go, the magic we will lose.

I can feel the heat the fire within your eyes,
you’re no demon you’re a bird of paradise.
For this moment I’m willing to pay the price.

Let us waste away the hours until daybreak
forgetting for a moment what is at stake.
Affection is a chance everyone must take.

Hot as cinnamon and as sweet as candy,
absolute power I feel it intensely.
Dulce del Diablo will you dance with me?

----Horn Section-----
They pair well he told me
with assurance. Yet my
uncertainty had me
still nervouys. we wanted to
make an impactful meal
one that addressed the
of the shortcomings of
the previous. Then we were
too, concerned with the
crust. We wanted a shortcake
like crust without the
sweetness.. We settled on
sugar reduction instead of
omitting it. So now the
actual complete recipe.
We wanna make a shortbread
 crust for a Bacon, tomato,
and okra pie. We decided to
make it more savory with
creamed cheese or
a drained yogurt and egg yolk
in addition to mayo.,so in a bowl
I added 1 yolk,, 4 Tablespoons of
drained yogurt, 1/4 cup of mayo
( or 4 T of mayo, 4 T of Ranch Dressing,
 4 T drained yogurt)
1 Teaspoon of cayenne pepper,
1&1/2 teaspoons of crushed garlic
.! tablespoon of dehydrated onions
, 5 Tablespoons of minced onion
4 Tablespoons of chopped feta
2 tablespoons of Oloroso
,2 cups of mozzarella and cheddar mixed
light sprinkle of McCormick seasoning
Mixed well and set aside.
in a skillet,3 T olive oil add ,
1 cup of chopped okra
 4 peeled tomato's and 1/2 cup
of chopped ham. sautee
add to taste basil and oregano
and 1/2 teaspoon of anchovies paste.
combine with cheese mixture.
add 1 cup of cooked bacon crushed.
in a reduced sugar shortbread crust
add ingredients , top with
 goat cheese or mozzoroliand bake
30 min.
served with fried fish or chicken tenders
or shrimp.
you'll get the response your looking for!

Cluffia Del Too

THEY HAD ALOT TO TALK ABOUT
THEY FOUND A GROUP FROM THE
UPPER- VALLEY ON THE EDGE OF THE SETTLMENT
IT BOTHERED SOME
KNOWING THAT sTAMBLE mEANEST WAS AMONG THOSE SPOTTED.
STAMBLE HAD FATHER A CHILD WITH SEVERAL WOMAN IN THE SETTLEMENT.
AND WISHED TO MARRY ONE OF THE DAUGHTERS OF WARBIRD.
THIS WENT AGAINST THE WISHES OF WARBIRD, AND EVEN HIS FATHER WHO HAD LABELED
HIM A TRAITOR TO HUMANITY.
HE HAD ALLIED HIMSELF WITH THE POFIA-DAFF-GANNY, A COUNTERINTELLIGENCE
GROUP FROM AN AREA IN SOUTH MEXICO.
THEY LOOTED A WORSHIP AREA IN PITITO ALLOW STAMBLE ACCESS TO THE SETTLEMENT, PUTTING A BOUNTY ON HIS HEAD AND
ONLY ALLOWED HIM THE RIGHT TO WRITE HIS CHILDREN.ZIA AND SHIPPED THE GOLD TO THE VALLEY TO BE STORED THEIR.
WHY DID THE SETTLERS AGREE, IS SOMETHING OF A MYSTERY.
IT IS SAID THAT THAT THE TREASURE WAS HAUNTED, AND A CURSE WAS MADE ON IT.
THOSE WHO WISHED TO POSSES
THE TREASURE WOULD DO SO AT A RISK.
SOME SCHOLARS SAY THAT WHEN THE SETTLERS MELTED THE GOLD
AND MADE COINS
THE FLOOR OF THE BUILDING BEGAN SHAKING.
AND SOME REPORTS THAT THE DOORS FELL FROM THEIR HINGES.
NOT WANTING THE TROUBLE FROM THE SPANISH SOLDERS, THEY
REFUSED. WARBIRD WAS QUOTED AS SAYING, "HE ( STAMBLE) WISHES TO MAKE WOMAN THINK LIKE MEN.
CAUSING THEM, TO CREATE A CULTURE AROUND HIM.
YET WHAT IS RECREATED OFTEN CREATES NEW PROBLEMS"
