omitting it. So now the
actual complete recipe.
We wanna make a shortbread
crust for a Bacon, tomato,
and okra pie. We decided to
make it more savory with
creamed cheese or
a drained yogurt and egg yolk
in addition to mayo.,so in a bowl
I added 1 yolk,, 4 Tablespoons of
drained yogurt, 1/4 cup of mayo
( or 4 T of mayo, 4 T of Ranch Dressing,
4 T drained yogurt)
1 Teaspoon of cayenne pepper,
1&1/2 teaspoons of crushed garlic
.! tablespoon of dehydrated onions
, 5 Tablespoons of minced onion
4 Tablespoons of chopped feta
2 tablespoons of Oloroso
,2 cups of mozzarella and cheddar mixed
light sprinkle of McCormick seasoning
Mixed well and set aside.
in a skillet,3 T olive oil add ,
1 cup of chopped okra
4 peeled tomato's and 1/2 cup
of chopped ham. sautee
add to taste basil and oregano
and 1/2 teaspoon of anchovies paste.
combine with cheese mixture.
add 1 cup of cooked bacon crushed.
in a reduced sugar shortbread crust
add ingredients , top with
goat cheese or mozzoroliand bake
30 min.
served with fried fish or chicken tenders
or shrimp.
