laughter is a rare thing for me these days
then you come along with colorful contrasts
at first, i was very much reluctant
then i became intrigued by your presentation of your introduction
nothing was what i expected
i am glad i took a road less travelled
here i am somewhere on vacation a little later in the future
i am making her applewood bacon and fluffy scrambled eggs
then i have the urge to surprise her with some cinnamon toast
the vanilla coffee is ready and so is the orange juice, freshly squeezed
she comes around the corner with a smile and a bright 'good mornin'
her strong southern accent defeating my serious demeanor
we flirt a little bit
her pine cone brown eyes are glistening in the natural light in the room
though she is 15.5 years older than me, we are like kids at a makeshift breakfast buffet
as we say our goodbyes, we exhale deeply and wonder
a new friendship has formed, and for that we feel ThankFull and Blessed
as i walk her to her navy blue SUV, we give each other a warm hug
we promise to stay in touch, but respect is the nucleus of our bond
as i watch her drive off, i thank God for the experience of it all
sometimes it is not about the physical aspect but the Occurrence of a Blessing
i hope that she finds happiness as she returns to her current chapter
just as i was turning the doorknob to reenter the condo, my phone chimes....
The goal of life is rapture. Art is the way we experience it.
Joseph Campbell
A calm, unpretentious, breathtaking connection,
A hypnotic glimpse of Zen-alike delightful flection.
Spirit healing serenade into the borderline,
A serenity of a viable pond is lost in perfection.
The laconic calmness that is invoked and divine.
A magic soul, soaring in sync with heaven's shine,
untying of mind and soul from bowing emptiness.
A sigh of solace is followed by another whine.
Achieving inner peace and tackling stealthiness.
Silky ripples, awash in tranquility and richness,
Innate calm is layered with rustical sylvan charm.
Embraced by the arms of unwavering prettiness,
Words began to ooze from the scarlet smarm.
This work was iconic; I've never seen a palm.
She moved ecstatically; she had no tale to tell.
Defeating demons and surviving a swarm
Dance, dance akin to a child before he fell.
Lose your inhibitions below orbs and spell
In the glow of affection, dance to the glee.
Dance, dance, as a baby learns to quell
Dance is a trick to happiness and ecstasy.
Dance is the dialect of a huge banshee.
Dance is a specific way to discover your mood.
Dancing before a kid is dangling on his knee.

THEY SAID HE HAD A POOR ATTITUDE
HE WAS A SORE LOSER
A PERSON WHO TRAINED HARD
AND FOLLOWED COACHES INSTRUCTION
BUT WOULD SELDON TAKE DEFEAT IN STRIDE
HE WAS SEEN BY HIS FOOLOW COMRADS AS
A PERSON YOU WANT ON YOUR SIDE
BUT YOU DIDN'T WANT TO COMPETE DIRECTLY WITH HIM
BECAUSE HE LACKED A MORAL SENCE OF OBLIGATION
HE WHIND LIKE A BRAT.
HE'D CAUSE HIS PARTNERSHIPS TO LACK FOCUS
HE'D OFTEN BE SEEN WITH
FOES OF HIS FREINDS
CAUSING THEM TO NEVER REALLY TRUST HIM
HE LACKED A SENSE OF DIRECTION
AND WHEN THOSE WHO SAW COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS
WOULD BENEFIT BOTH
HE'D DO SOMETHING TO CAUSE VICTORY: BUT HE LACKED
THE STAY-IT-IST THAT TEAM WORK NEEDS
TO HAVE A COHESIVE GELLING.
WE CELEBRATED HIM AS BEST IN THE WORLD
THIS WAS DONE WHEN HE BECAME THE
FIVE TROPHY CHAMPION DEFEATING
A MAN WHO WAS SMARTER, TALLER, FASTER, MORE AGILE
AND SOME SAID MORE CUNNING.
HE SAW PAST HIS FAULTS AND DECIDED HE WAS THE BEST IN THE WORLD
AND ALL HE NEEDED TO DO WAS DEFEAT THE CHAMPION TO DO SO.
HE DID: SEVERAL PEOPLE WISHED HIM DEFEATED
THEY CONSORTED, PLOTTED, SCHEMED, AND EVEN CHALLENGED HIM
BUT ONE MAN SAID HE WAS EQUAL IN STANDINGS TO
THE MAN THE WORLD CALLED CHAMPION. a FELLA THAT REPRESENTED THREE COMPANIES AS CHAMPION, WON HIS SIXTH CHAMPIONSHIP FUSSING THE TITLES CREATING
A NEW NAME FOR HIS REPRESENTATION. SIX COMPANIES CALLED HIM CHAMPION,
HE REFUSE TO DEFEND THE BELTS SEPARATELY, AND HE
PUT IN HIS CONTRACT UNLESS HIS COMPANIES WOULD FULLY TRY ON NATIONAL TELEVISION TO SUPPORT HIS EFFORTS AS THE ONLY
AND TRUE COMBINED CHAMPION, HE WOULD FORFEIT THE TITLES CAUSING ALL SIX COMPANIES TO HAVE TO DEVELOP TOURNAMENTS.
WELL IT WORKED
SOMEONE SAW A PROFIT IN WHAT WAS HAPPENING
AND 11 COMPANIES CAN TOGETHER FOR ONE NIGHT IN COSTA RICO.
THEY CALLED THE EVENT
"NTAEUS'S CROWNING" THE MAIN EVENT WAS CALLED CROWNING ARTAEUS" THEY WRESTLED FOR 56:59 MINUTES WHEN THE TIME KEEPER RANG THE BELL.
HIS CLOCK HAD BEEN OFF SET. SOME CITED INTERFERENCE. bUT THE TIMEKEEPER HAD BEEN SWORN TO A CERTAIN LEVEL OF MORAL CODING.
BOTH CHAMPIONS THINK THE BOUT WAS AT A DRAW WERE SUPRISED TO HEAR, THE THE ATHLETIC COMMISSION SPEAK THE WORDS aNTAEUS vECTOR" WHICH MEANT A RESOLUTION HAD TO BE MADE. THEY DECIDED ON A TEN MINUTE CONTEST.
BOTH COMATANTS WRESTLED TO A DRAW.
IN THESE BABYLONIAN TIMES PS
(A Palming Allegorical Rendering)
With elephant ears,
And the keenness of giraffes,
Let’s become as owls:
Divine wisdom and guidance,
Eagle-winging us justice:-
In our life’s nature,
Trials and tribulations come:
So does conquering:-
In Babylonian times,
Seek your new Jerusalms:-
Jesus rode an ass,
We now have one riding us:
Time to buck him off:-
Leaving no palms to catch him,
Let’s burn away oppression:-
With ashes of hope,
Let’s anoint liberation
And coming justice:-
Let us get to palm swapping
Injustice from our pathway:-
Ever be mindful,
God helps those who help themselves:
Wisdom in their palms:-
Having empath palms is bad;
Not seeking to fill them, worse:-
We’ve overcome worse
Sodom’s and Gomorrah’s trials;
Wisdom guiding us:
Necessary means revealed;
Injustice palm-slapped away:-
Despair wallowing
In apathetic dismay,
Is self defeating:-
With palms of wisdom guiding,
Let’s be self liberating.:-
I’m the swing that swung and now I’m still,
Never to sail again,
Never to hear the sound of laugh,
I remember the days of when
The kids would float and kick and laugh,
Each kid wanting to fly,
All believing the dream of defeating the ground,
And nobody asking why
They could reach so high without a care,
In the air it was them that flew,
Not fearing about any possible hurt,
Not troubled one bit about who
Would come to their aid, would fix every scratch,
They didn’t need to care,
About adult stuff, writing or spelling,
This was the only place where
They could be a kid, but now they’ve grown
And left me lying around,
Left me hanging here broken down and sad,
Alone in this quiet playground.
Defeating the Brutality
In a civilized world where people,
Even share the grief of their enemies
And write Poems and Songs
When they are in pains and
Are surrounded by sorrowful happenings.
The soldiers of Pakistan army
Have beheaded the Indian soldiers
In disguise and have eloped
In the darkness of cowardice.
What a bravery they have shown
Making a mockery of Geneva Convention
As, such human aspects
Have no meaning for such an army
Which believes in brutal killings only.
My nation is shocked and
The world is bewildered
To see this brutal act of cowardice
But those who have done this
Barbaric act
Are laughing in their dark chambers
As they believe in
Barbaric cruelty and
A denial of such acts
As not accepting a things
Is the best remedy
To befool the world.

Sometimes some lost and lonely housewife I know well and knew put glossy
lip stick on and subtle pastel shade mascara plucked his brows and shaved
the pits of desperation the dust and grime the secretive desire longing
He cleaned the oven layered peeled the onion emerged in mouth watering
cheese cakes mixed the sweet and sour chilly icing with fresh fromage
fermenting homage to a new beginning of transition from the desperation
Not my cup of tea the make up with tattoos the belly ring and
hairy monsters on his pectoral and deltoid muscles but the pastry
pasted shaken not so pious pies tasted passionate the scent of musky
mushroom vanilla cinnamon the whole cliché of home made cooking
steaks for power sweet desert aphrodisiac temptations for the palate
palace coup palladium palliating plights of unforeseen façade and masquerade
Defeating gender stereotypes and prejudice his wife left broom cuisine
and cruising hoovers steely wool to his resolve and elbow grease but the
good partner who she was helped with the dishes when the dishy romance
ceased to be when both of them were desperate shattered broken devastated
wives and house mates
Their Pandora’s box the can of wriggly worms once opened left his bosom swell
his skin and features soften the pheromones transform their scent aroma
tone and meter of their conversation pitched up once the vocal chords strung higher
and he cut the naval chord which boxed him for so long in a body of a stranger
My friend and desperate house wife Paul is Paula now and she lives with her girl
another gender convert and is not incarcerated not desperate any longer she is free
Her ex-wife Ruby lives with Rosa now transcending yet another artificial boundary in rapturous coming of time and liberation and I love them dearly just the same

The forgone days of my youth are spent
Replaced by memories of that day.
When my back was strong and unbent
Before time had left its mark this way.
My eyes, once sharp, now have dimmed
And spoken words oft need repeating.
I'm as a ship with her sails untrimmed
My deeds, most time, are self defeating.
Those things that once I took for granted
I now find difficult at this late day.
Modernistic views appear as slanted
And youthful morals are in deep decay.
The night comes quick but lingers long
And pain captures most sleep and rest.
The music I hear could be my swan song
Signaling me to live daily with zest.
Our eyes meet, and the temperature is rising
When we're standing so near, there's no disguising
I don't know what to say, your a princess, I am clay
Yeah, opposites attract, I'm not even denying
You've got ahold on me, without even trying
This boy begins to pray, light up my life today
Sure you've got it all, but not so good at hiding
Feel the chemistry, just let go and stop fighting
I'm not going away, you body language says stay
I'm the oxygen in the air, your longing to be breathing
I see your smile, but in your heart there's a needing
Night explodes into day, when love can have its way
Hey sweet mystery girl, your beautiful face I'm reading
I think it's so very clear, your defenses I'm defeating
This dreamer's wish today, be free and fly away..
To me!
~Lyric Man
Note: They are opposites and she's so mysterious, but one thing this guy knows is chemistry.. and they have it! This upbeat pop lyric is about two racing hearts.. One we all see and another only he can catch.
In the misty morning’s breath
Feeling comfort, knowing I’m blessed
Drifting in from the dusty hills,
Assurance of heart’s gentle prayers
Asking God for the still, new dawn
To bring joy, sweet as the psalms
In the praise that colors the earth,
Rising beyond the green and blue, trees
Whispering in melancholic notes
Sweetest breath of a story so old,
It’s told by the rivers, the mountains, the stars
A beautiful wind who reveals soul’s delight,
Breathing softly, His gentle insights
Wisdom breaks through the soul who sighs
Revealing the light in each spirit….
In the laughter of sunshine so bright,
Grace promises to bring forgiving so right
Forgiveness in hearts, redemption to the life
Who believes in His grace, His Presence
A way…
The way to the song of a life that is sweet,
A song, a soul, a safe haven I believe
Comes to those who know Him as Father,
As Son, as the only One worthy…
He’s the light that shines beyond
The hills and the stars
He lives up in heaven, interceding for us
Reminding our hearts that we’ve only just begun
To know this Savior who is love like no other
Love that is alive in the heart who hears
The still, small voice of a love that kills
Every sadness, all the badness, the dark shadows
Defeating the devil and saving the soul
So what was once sorrow
Is changed to a heart so full…
Love beyond measure
Love beyond words
His is a love that we’ve always known
Because in His Presence
There is hope that can’t let go
Hope that rises in the spirit
Who truly believes…
Love like this is better
Than any other thing on earth
It is Jesus’ love that saves us
From the hell that we deserve
It is Jesus’ love that saves us
From the darkest parts of earth
It is Jesus’ love that saves us
So we’ll one day see His face
And know the amazing
Of His beautiful grace…
Oh, sweet Jesus, how I long to see Your face
You are the best thing that I’ve ever known
You are the wonder, the warrior, the song
You are the kindness that melts the hardest hearts
You are the love that will never be wrong
You are the story that grows better with time
It is that old, old story that saves every time
You are my Savior
You are my Friend
With You beside me
I have faith without end
I have faith that will not end
