Faith That Will Not End


In the misty morning’s breath
Feeling comfort, knowing I’m blessed
Drifting in from the dusty hills,
Assurance of heart’s gentle prayers
Asking God for the still, new dawn
To bring joy, sweet as the psalms

In the praise that colors the earth,
Rising beyond the green and blue, trees
Whispering in melancholic notes
Sweetest breath of a story so old,
It’s told by the rivers, the mountains, the stars
A beautiful wind who reveals soul’s delight,
Breathing softly, His gentle insights
Wisdom breaks through the soul who sighs
Revealing the light in each spirit….

In the laughter of sunshine so bright,
Grace promises to bring forgiving so right
Forgiveness in hearts, redemption to the life
Who believes in His grace, His Presence
A way…

The way to the song of a life that is sweet,
A song, a soul, a safe haven I believe
Comes to those who know Him as Father,
As Son, as the only One worthy…

He’s the light that shines beyond
The hills and the stars
He lives up in heaven, interceding for us
Reminding our hearts that we’ve only just begun
To know this Savior who is love like no other
Love that is alive in the heart who hears
The still, small voice of a love that kills
Every sadness, all the badness, the dark shadows
Defeating the devil and saving the soul
So what was once sorrow
Is changed to a heart so full…

Love beyond measure
Love beyond words
His is a love that we’ve always known
Because in His Presence
There is hope that can’t let go
Hope that rises in the spirit
Who truly believes…

Love like this is better
Than any other thing on earth
It is Jesus’ love that saves us
From the hell that we deserve
It is Jesus’ love that saves us 
From the darkest parts of earth
It is Jesus’ love that saves us
So we’ll one day see His face
And know the amazing
Of His beautiful grace…

Oh, sweet Jesus, how I long to see Your face
You are the best thing that I’ve ever known
You are the wonder, the warrior, the song
You are the kindness that melts the hardest hearts
You are the love that will never be wrong
You are the story that grows better with time
It is that old, old story that saves every time

You are my Savior
You are my Friend
With You beside me
I have faith without end
I have faith that will not end
