I will love you if you would step out of the abyss with
me
I’m fearless to say that I used to bleed out remorse
Before I met you…of course
I used to cry myself asleep because I felt so alone
Before I met you, I was on my own
V.6: What’s baby blue with glee? – The sky!
We welcome the sun to shine upon you and I
I spot you, dancing freely – I don’t want to lose you just
because we were pushing each other’s buttons and
devouring strife
I see you in the corner of my eye
You are strong to stay strong when you met eye to
eye with your struggles in life
I need you to let go of guilt and fly
*chorus* I never have the strength and the
energy to say that you saved me from the death’s snare
But, I must tell you someday, so that you’re aware
That you are someone special in my heart – I can’t conceal
the truth of what I feel for you deep inside
In my life, in my life, I’m still stuck in the solitary cave
In my life, in my life, I thought I wasn’t at all brave
I was caved in by the cravings of my heart
The darkness once ripped me apart
But, you repaired me and I recovered pretty fast
So, please listen up! I must tell you about my good and bad
past
Fear doesn’t exist here
Get a grip on the rope of hope
All anxieties are gone
We dream on like daydreamers, awaiting another great,
delight-illuminated dawn
I’ll love you until my life is no more
I’ll love you, even if you have strayed into the darkness
I love you from the bottom of the ocean to the heavens
above
I’ll love you – I won’t get over you and you’re my love at
first sight – you were and still are a dazzling, surreal sight –
you kiss me and I’m overwhelmed with passionate bliss
I will love you if you would step out of the abyss with me
I will love you if you can be so kind and participate with me
as I step out of the abyss - you're down? Wipe away that
frown and embrace sunlit glee! Be happy!
Carnelian, tumbled, polished and beautifully elegant,
anchors this daydream in reality and the acceptance of life;
removes all fear of death as this orange gem will assist my soul,
navigate the journey into the maze of the afterlife. (or is that a dream ?)
Egyptians believed in the power of Carnelian, it left them deeply enthralled,
loving this vibrant orange gemstone that blazed of the colors in Autumn;
inside the stone there is a cloudy interior that leaves this girl daydreaming,
and so I must put on my Carnelian necklace from India and feel it's vitality.
now, oh sweetness, I have peace and tranquility and can write my poetry . . .

You're a super star, a night star
No matter how far you go
I’ll be there to mend your scar
Let the breeze blow and the leaves flow
Gently as they go to and fro
Hallow hello,
I’ll give you strength from sunset to sunrise
Hallow hello,
I can see the struggle you go through in your eyes
Brilliant and beautiful shelves –
That’s what we are
We’re colorful and creative, not full of ourselves
That’s what we are
That’s what we are
You’re a rad rock star
No matter how much you feel by yourself in your cocoa-colored car
I’ll be there to rescue you times eleven
I’ll support you twenty-four/seven
Hallow hello,
I’ll give you strength from sunset to sunrise
Hallow hello,
I can see the struggle you go through in your eyes
Brilliant and beautiful shelves –
That’s what we are
We’re colorful and creative, not full of ourselves
That’s what we are
That’s what we are
I believe in you
Reflections say it’s true
We are all wonderful human beings tonight
We are all fairies without their wings of flight
Let go and let's be wise with our wandering gaze
We are all daydreamers in our wondrous daze
It’s the things we do –
We believe in you
Hallow hello,
I’ll give you strength from sunset to sunrise
Hallow hello,
I can see the struggle you go through in your eyes
Brilliant and beautiful shelves –
That’s what we are
We’re colorful and creative, not full of ourselves
That’s what we are
That’s what we are
Hallow hello,
I’ll give you strength from sunset to sunrise
Hallow hello,
I can see the struggle you go through in your eyes
Brilliant and beautiful shelves –
That’s what we are
We’re colorful and creative, not full of ourselves
That’s what we are
That’s what we are
You're a super star, a night star
No matter how far you go
I’ll be there to mend your scar
Let the breeze blow and the leaves flow
Gently as they go to and fro
The breeze will let us know
If we must stay or just let go
Let the blessed breeze blow

Fourteen-year-old shy John, who might instantly flame up with a horrified red face.
The thirteen-year-old artist/daydreamers smiles as she doodles and colors, math class long forgotten.
She begins coloring in her shapes with turquoise, purple, lavender, pink, red, and yellow.
“MARY!”
Teacher sounds irritated to the listeners in the class.
Mrs. John Pebbles does not hear, she is enmeshed in a glorious daydream with her prince.
“MARY!” A few others look up, but not Mrs. J.
Colored pens are rapidly confiscated by teacher in a swift angry arm swoop upon Mary’s desk.
Mrs. John Pebbles looks up and glares at her with her full woman glare.
A housewife one second, and now a mere thirteen-year-old in math class.
A woman who cannot adorn is a woman scorned.
V.1: I’m arriving undone again
Singing the same lines all over again…where have you been?
Where have you been?
Are you trapped in your pit of pitiful, pleasure-less poverty?
Only love could find me this time
The time we spent – so sublime
I’m fearless to say that I used to bleed out remorse
Before I met you…of course
I used to cry myself asleep because I felt so alone
Before I met you, I was on my own…
Yes, I know – I’ve grown strong and matured on my own
On my own…but I’m not alone
*chorus* I’m never brave enough to say that you saved me
from the death’s snare
But, I must tell you someday, so that you’re aware
That you are someone special in my heart – I can’t conceal
the truth of what I feel for you deep inside
In my life, in my life, I’m still stuck in the solitary cave
In my life, in my life, I thought I wasn’t at all brave
I was caved in by the cravings of my heart
The darkness once ripped me apart
But, you repaired me and I recovered pretty fast
So, please listen up! I must tell you about my good and bad
past

V.2: Words can make a big impact on others
I need you, I want you, I bleed for you
This moment between us
Is so sacred, so vital and so delightful to me
What is like to be in his shoes?
Is there hope in store?
Are there bright opportunities beyond that open door?
I’maaaaah singing the blues…
I shall not God search this out
For you know the secrets of our hearts
We are counted as sheep for the slaughter
and all that matters
As it is written we're all killed liken
All those daydreamers accounted for as sleep for the slaughter
Who shall separate us from our God
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ
Shall tribulation or distress
Give me my body thirst
For forty days and forty nights
Without food or water
we're liken sheep for the slaughter
Shall tribulation or distress
Persecution famine or nakedness
No perils no swords
We are kept by His words
We are His and His alone we're not of this world
Who shall separate us from our God
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ
Shall tribulation or distress
Give me my body thirst
For forty days and forty nights
Without food or water
we're liken sheep for the slaughter

taken from Romans 8:26
from anthology "Sent Up"
Time, the great equalizer, yet mastered by none;
Deadline’s enemy, said to fly when linked with fun.
An endless river flowing toward the future;
Excites planners anticipating adventure.
If time was the medium to settle the score,
Would it make people pause and reflect a bit more;
And gauge success by serving a higher purpose;
Not by the rat-race, keep-up, cash-chasing circus?
Asset? Liability? Depends on one’s use;
To daydreamers, it can be a life-wasting muse.
Valuable to those who save early in life;
But wait too long, and it engenders later strife.
A claimed healer of wounds, helping many forget;
Prior mistakes, harms, other sources of regret.
Time moves steadily forward, present becomes past;
Outpacing people, places, things that do not last.
Fortuitous, my errant self arose
upon yon glen, my mellow eyes favor
tawny giants teeming with varied life,
nesting, crawling, climbing, perched or flying
gracefully aloft, same endless dreamers.
Shrubs near wandering stream flourish, touching
grassy meadows and flowery hued fields,
where lurks mass of bugs, neath earth, or above,
albeit, they must stay hidden because
they are near the bottom of the food chain.
Chance arrived as held memories motions
around, naught tinkering but flashing by
with the familiar faces that worn some,
same as structures around this grand quaint town
but aged me, always a young boy will be.
A young September and I started work
half a century ago, deadlines
for glens, piled papers are tawny, scrambled
shoe naught crawl, perching on breaks and often
daydreamers are caught, monitored always.
This be the way it was a lifetime pass,
retired September whence I had begun,
lost I, many September, since, begs the
question, so much ground to be recovered,
is there justified sand in my hourglass?

All anxieties are gone
We dream on like daydreamers, awaiting another great,
delight-illuminated dawn
I’ll love you until my life is no more

V.5: Were you looking for me in the Weeping Meadows?
I’m looking in the mirror; then out of nowhere, I hear your
echoes
You wiped away the wistful waters…you made the gray of
today disappear and now, I’m not as gloomy and introverted
as I once was…what a fine, terrific day!
You prevented a waterfall of sorrowful appall from exposing
itself too soon…I’m reflecting about the trespasses in my
past, feeling the dread drown me time and time again – why
am I doused in dismay?
*chorus* I’m never fearless enough to stand up for you or
even claim that you saved me and I to you from death’s
snare
But, I must tell you someday, so that you’re aware
That you are someone special in my heart – I can’t conceal
the truth of what I feel for you deep inside
In my life, in my life, I’m still stuck in the solitary cave
