Sheep For the Slaughter

I shall not God search this out
For you know the secrets of our hearts
We are counted as sheep for the slaughter
and all that matters
As it is written we're all killed liken
All those daydreamers accounted for as sleep for the slaughter

Who shall separate us from our God
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ
Shall tribulation or distress
Give me my body thirst
For forty days and forty nights
Without food or water
we're liken sheep for the slaughter

Shall tribulation or distress
Persecution famine or nakedness
No perils no swords
We are kept by His words
We are His and His alone we're not of this world

Who shall separate us from our God
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ
Shall tribulation or distress
Give me my body thirst
For forty days and forty nights
Without food or water
we're liken sheep for the slaughter
