Listen ~ I'm sure a competent musician could
not have come up with something better

Still we have much to learn from natures melody
We can not escape from the music

You need to change, we all need
Take a deep conversation with the nature

I don't think anyone really enjoys confrontation
Nevertheless, I see this as very important

Nature can not scream in pain, we must see the signals
The voice of nature ~ the music ... a ballad

So ~ for better or worse be a nature role model
Where goodness is sown ~ goodness will be harvested

The Truth Is
David J Walker

The two-story houses
aligned on Main Street
host ghosts that are
free to come and go

because they know
where their bodies are buried in
backyard moments captured
in stunning black & White on
the back of Kodak paper

the truth is
	life did not
welcome them home
death is all they’ve known
since leaving for the war

the truth is
	they gather with others
	who last wore tattered
uniforms in some form or another
finding refuge in familiar form

the truth is
	this place used to be part of
	a 640-acre section of
a cotton farm
purchased at10 cents for each
by a distant grandfather
	now it's all part of
the outskirts of a town

the truth is
	ghosts like to hang around
	it’s the least they can do
or the most depending
on your point of view

The truth is
	There is no need to
	Strike up conversation
It is enough to acknowledge
They are there

Naked Coffee Shock

Naked Coffee Shock

So. It’s early Sunday morning in DC
Visiting my locale Mickey D’s
I’m not too bright about anything
Simply wanting a cup of Joe
Before I go to church
The help as usual is friendly and polite
(Some say they’re not but that’s alright)
2 ugly men walked in behind me
Clearly they were there to sin
Both had no clothes on so things went south
They were erect
(and I don’t mean posture or the building of a house)
I averted my eyes at the appropriate moment
These are hard times and getting harder
Not wanting to be party to this depravity and crime
I tried to leave but…. Never mind…
 “Reach for the sky!” The nude men shouted
Then struck up a conversation
(I thought this was salacious and unkind)
So. I geared up my stronger serious mind
Became sophisticated and refined
I told them they are in the wrong place and time
Informed them the church is close to here
If they were so inclined I’d take them there
Repentance is a goodly and Godly thing
“Ridiculous!”  They cried
They wanted more than a house of God
It was the apple pies they so desired
I told them they looked silly and kinda dumb
Reminded them they had no guns (obviously, they were naked)
There was no way to fake it
The only thing they threatened were some smiles
So. The manager told them there are no pies
And sizing up the situation, continued
“Can’t either of you read?”
The sign is clearly posted
“Shoes are required”
You are not properly attired
So kindly leave

T Terrible

Added not one word. compared to works im worse. far travles the voice of power.
bundled under her shirt a sheltered puppy. As raindrops fell in celestial whispers
i could hear the child inside her crying.
Yet her head set in a proud look. not a bad thing could be said of her face.
Nor could i tolerate any man to speak bad about her.
A breeze blows the cutrain floats i feel a sudden change of equallibriam
as Justice prevails my senses once again must be in the sixth sense.
She sees past me images of finding her real self. Lost is to me is the cause of this.
As eyes pierce me in every direction. she enjoys an honest conversation as rare as they are

‘Why can’t you say it in a different way?’
Your phrase is not me. It’s not who I am.
I don’t care if you don’t understand it,
an apology is not coming soon;

Your phrase is not me. It’s not who I am.
The honey you want’s not the buzz I give;
An apology is not coming soon;
Conversation is painting for a poet;

The honey you want’s not the buzz I give;
My voice my choice, it belongs to me;
Conversation is painting for a poet,
we are eloquent by definition;

My voice my choice, it belongs to me;
I speak and write with flamboyant words,
we are eloquent by definition;
Can you change your DNA’s make up?

I speak and write with flamboyant words;
I don’t care if you don’t understand it,
can you change your DNA’s make up?
Why can’t you say it in a different way?

Premium Member The I Love You Conversation

"What do you know of love?" I seethe....
a well of passion longing to be freed
"I love you," the words I finally breathe
and think you'll know this burning need

"It's not enough," you say.
"Find another way...
say...say it differently
This, 'I love you' means
nothing to me.
Let the words break through
the mold of meaning
and be born anew
make me understand....
this...'I love you'
What does it mean to you?
I've heard it before, you see
and then after some time
I was shown out the door
Say....say it to me....differently."

"I know its overused and abused," I scream....
"but not by me...never by me!
How can I make you see?
bordering on the cliche..
What can I say?
Nothing will do!
nothing's good enough...
good enough for you!"

So I slash my breast
my heart bleeds through
in crimson warmth
I cradle you
I bath you in my salty tears
and let you in
to cloistered dreams
I let my body say it right
in liquid letters in the night
then wake you with a gentle kiss
and wrap you in
delirious bliss
each day: a testament that's true
of thousand different 'I love yous'

"So tell me now
Why you can't see
the truth that these words
mean to me?

Should you still think
these words are weak
then hear my heart
and let it speak."

Early Morning Deli

So, I’m standing in the early morning deli line.
Waiting for my sliced turkey and cheese.
One old man behind me and another old lady behind the counter.
She’s slicing up something and doesn’t even know we are there.
I roll my eyes and wait.

He strikes up a conversation about turkey.
Just what I need!
He tells me he has been married for 58 years.
His wife is home with her nurse.
She’s had MS for 45 years now.
She likes this special turkey with a slice of ham.
Her favorite lunch. He enjoys going out to buy it.

We’re still waiting and I ask why a store would hire
such an unobservant helper.
He says she’s really a very nice person if you get to know her.
I’m thinking about him, his wife and the deli lady.
She finally notices us.

I order his recommended turkey for my daughter.
She’s coming to visit.
As I’m about to leave he taps me on the shoulder.
“Have a nice day”
And you know what?
I do.

Forbidden Foolishness

They were prisoners
not of walls but of words
words of threats and alienation
walls none the less

But destiny would intervene
a chance encounter at a shop
eyes meeting in a fateful dance
unspoken thoughts exchanged

Notes were passed
through clandestine means
hidden from watchful eyes
little by little trysts ensued

At first with conversation
then, that kiss
the one that opened the prison gates
to a world unknown

Of freedom of the heart
hands began to meander
exploring the inner reaches
of parts unknown

He climbing past mountains of doubt
she guiding his hands
to her Garden of Eden
both searching in the shadow of darkness

Like unleashed primal beasts
theirs was a passion in a fertile land
breath taking and breathless
the planting of seeds

Would soon bear fruit
the chains that once held them
now kept them close
the escape complete

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dawns a courtroom closing in on midday, and a cheery sun
uncovering its place being less demanding--a sage who
dons sufficiently in her vocation that imparts one who bears
a respectable position, and one of a high office--so without
delay, the judge withdraws to his chambers for consultations
with the defense attorney and prosecutor, et al., she then
advances towards the lone defendant from her private seat
in the gallery--an officer of the court, immediately takes
notice of her movements and in anticipation presented her
with a chair for her pleasure--the defendant who sees her,
respectfully stands, whereto, she politely informs him that
he may remain seated and air him in a one-sided
conversation being the soul speaker, and he as the soul
listener. Albeit, exceptions to that disclosure evolved at the
end as there is cause for the conversation to become ironic.
Diode Side pumped under water laser show!
Off loaded. They stood by the ferry: watching
and waiting. The ferry was a tempory ordeal: they were
constructing
a tunnel. And since this much attention all funded
by S.S.W.Inc (secret Space WorldInc) allo
audeince a laser show showed promise for excitment.
Man we unloaded equipment into the night. I was angry I had
a date with Bla;Bla Controversy( I had to postpone it
I knew that getting out of her line made me
lesser and more unlikely to be a permanate fixure in her life.
people always speak bad about loose and mean women, one thing
they never tell people is often they open the doors up conversation
and having something to talk about ften was the perfect script
for romance. Engaging and meaningful conversations often had
different defintions to all involved. Finding someone who read from your book of understanding
often gave way to getting it easier. man begging a woman is fun: but you don't know the stresses it causes
until what you are trying to have or gain is either yours against ownership: or lossed
due to someone wishing to stay in control of your emotions. I doubt if being puppet to someone who's been teased and ridiculed would be nice her revenge to the world
that wronged her could mean trouble. Understanding Calmed shores makes vacation more exciting! Them Bikinis aint drawels!
