Un-revelling Rivalry

Who am I to speak of historical rivalry I cannot contest
all the clever myriad truths conjectures and refutations
about the two masters the two foes with huge presence
when history acclaim appreciation is subjective personal
up front and back stage up all artistic ins downs and outs

My parachute helicopter mind wants to give first prize to
to Leonardo for free flying inventive rebellious mind and
he helped me with anatomy dissecting corpses and all I can
still smell fragrant formalin preserving miraculous tissues
when I had to learn those medical terms and cut into flesh

But then Michelangelo shares my middle name though I am
no angel but who can proclaim that I may never be biased in
associate vein in quite shallow post-post-modernist anticipation
when the great man also painted in narrative personification
Deluge Drunken Noah Creation of Adam Madonna and Child

Okay family man that I am I resort to holidays with my children
and am so sad to admit that we never so far made it to Rome
sacrilegious or not but how could I pass The Last Judgement
when seeing Sistine Chapel’s altar would alter the verdict
of Ignoramus with leisure time spent on Normandy’s beaches

Well now I recall that trip to Euro Disney when we walked
from Tour Eiffel to the Louvre where I temporarily lost my
little boy Moritz and almost my temper when the devious villain
hid from the artwork was sulking because the Mona Lisa was
so small and he was so tiny could not see amongst masses of
tourists the smile and metaphorical writing on canvas and wall

So in all earnest while giving a toss I could-would have to resort
to tossing a coin in regards to whom why how and whenever the
rivals could measure up to history my history my story and life

Even and because of my whacky literal critical stance and my
stanzas bordering on mockery heresy subtle subjectification
you must remember that I have one tongue and two cheeks

And while seemingly ridiculing an important theme of historical
prominence I still bow in awe admiration yet lodge my own angle
perspective whereas the two grand master’s problem was not
what I would behold in my eyes and my soul in full radiance but
that they chose not to consider each others contrasting beauty
as compliment complement Leonardo Angelo Michel Da Vinci

January 29 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Exodus 33-35

Key Verse – Exodus 33:21-22 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by.

FAITH IN GOD WHO COVERS US WITH HIS COMPASSION

God covers us with His compassion as we do His commandment…
Thanks be unto Him for giving us willing hearts to offer with commitment
We need His wisdom to understand by faith our role as ministry-complement
As well as His mercy that grants us contentment.

God covers us with His compassion as we engage in His sanctuary…
Thanks be unto Him for enabling us to declare His Gospel story
We need His hand for us to move on by faith despite attacking worry
As well as His knowledge that teaches us to cling to His victory.

God covers us with His compassion as we respond to His service-calling…
Thanks be unto Him for bringing us to His plan of divine sealing
We need His direction to choose by faith what is righteously fulfilling
As well as His warning that restrains us from unholy dealing.

God covers us with His compassion as we abide in His governance…
Thanks be unto Him for upholding us to stand by His guidance
We need His power to fight by faith worldliness’ disturbance
As well as His strength that helps us in our sin-avoidance.

God covers us with His compassion as we journey with His light…
Thanks be unto Him for protecting us at all sides by His might
We need His vision to behold by faith His divine insight
As well as His illumination that makes His plan for us really bright.

God covers us with His compassion as we reach His standards diligently…
Thanks be unto Him for setting us by His kindness lovingly
We need His truth to establish us by faith upon His doctrines steadfastly
As well as His purity that sanctifies us to serve effectively.

God covers us with His compassion as we cast our burdens to His care…
Thanks be unto Him for cleansing us to be vessels of honour in His stare
We need His Word to triumph by faith in advancing His kingdom’s welfare
As well as His favour that commends our sacrifice of our full share.

Abstract
In the serum and cerebrospinal fluid of a patient with recurrent acute episodes of respiratory crises, autonomic symptoms and total insomnia (agrypnia), we identified a novel anti-neural complement fixing antibody directed against GABA(B) receptor (GABA(B)R). Patient purified IgG recognized a band of approximately 110 kDa on protein extracts of mouse cerebellum, cortex and brainstem and immunolabelled cultured Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, transfected with human GABA(B)R1 and rat GABA(B)R2 receptors. Western blot analysis of transfected CHO homogenates showed the same band using both patient purified IgG and anti-GABA(B)R1 antibody. In order to verify the pathogenic role of these purified antibodies, we injected patient IgG intrathecally into cisterna magna of C57BL/6 mice pre-implanted with EEG electrodes and we observed severe ataxia followed by breathing depression and total suppression of slow wave sleep, as evidenced by EEG recording, in a dose-dependent manner. Immunohistochemistry on brain sections of mice injected with patient IgG showed the simultaneous presence of bound human IgG and C5b-9 deposits on Purkinje cells and cerebellar granular layer. After incubation with anti-GABA(B)R antibody, a marked reduction of receptor immunostaining was found with relative sparing of neuronal architecture. In conclusion we recognized an anti-neuronal autoantibody directed against GABA(B)R that is associated with autoimmune agrypnia and we showed that our patient purified IgG was able to induce in mice experimental autoimmune agrypnia characterized by a complex neurological syndrome affecting several CNS functions.

Perhaps I'm not made for love, a labyrinth where I always lose my way,
The moment I think I've found the chosen one turns into illusion,
The instant I feel I'm in love proves to be just a notion,
And when I open my heart, trust is shattered by gestures that wound me deeply.
I wonder, will I ever know an unconditional, pure, and complete love?
One different from that experienced by my mother, my sister, my neighbors?
What's it like to love without the fear that feelings will be used against you?
What's it like to complement someone, to be yourself, vulnerable yet strong at once?
My heart fears vulnerability, though it knows it's the key to true love,
It fears it won't have the strength to rebuild if it's destroyed again,
But hasn't it done so already? Doesn't it beat now, full of hope?
Doesn't it keep me alive, more than mere existence, pulsing with renewed force?
Perhaps pain has strengthened it, making it stronger than its walls,
Perhaps each disappointment was a lesson, each tear - a drop of wisdom,
And yet, here I am, still searching, dreaming of a love that will heal all my wounds,
A love that will show me I can be myself, without masks, without fear, without regrets.
In the flow of my thoughts, memories intertwine with hopes,
Each experience, a stone on the path towards true love,
Each heartbeat, a step closer to the one who will truly understand me,
And I continue to search, to hope, to love, even though I sometimes fear.
For perhaps that's what love means - the courage to try again and again,
To open your heart, even knowing it could be hurt,
To believe that somewhere, someone will love you exactly as you are,
With all your imperfections, with all your fears, with all your complicated history.
And maybe, one day, I'll understand that love isn't about perfection,
But about acceptance, about growing together, about forgiveness,
About seeing beauty in imperfections, strength in vulnerability,
And then, perhaps then, I'll know I've found what I've always been searching for.
Until then, my heart beats, hopes, loves despite everything,
For in each beat is a promise, in each breath - a new chance,
And I, I am here, open to possibility, ready to learn,
To love, to be loved, to become stronger with each experience.

The Stranger Man 4

I will guard not against rules, but my conscience
And never shall exult in the esteem of men
For we all are brothers and sisters and friends,
Offspring of the muck whose bosom we embrace.
I live my life like a passing wind
Gently surfing through all the matters of life
Engendered and crafted by the hands of humans;
I view all things and weight their values.
They, as of a running stream on beds of rocks
The waters never lie still or become absorbed
So that water and rock cannot conjoin
So is my life with the materials of earth.
Are mine to find acquaintance….
When the heavens mourn, plants flourish,
When heaven is at its brightest moment
The plants of the earth shrivel in misery?
Yet they complement a cultivatable life.
I shall adapt to the intrigue and go my way.
I am brimmed full of her…life, life, life…!
Her great bowel is fraught with stale noise,
And she breaks wind into the atmosphere!
I am disgusted and will wander off
Wherever I shall have the balm of silence.
Silence is the overall answer to the
Nagging conundrums of the world.
I have had enough of the din and roar, now
I seek wisdom in the quietude of nature.
In a million of roar and hullabaloo of life
I find not a lesson to take to heart
But in a single word from silence
I have acquired a million lessons!
I will live in the prudence of silence and
Quiet my name, my pride, my ambitions.
Lo, the silence of God and the silence
Of nature makes me uncomfortable
To see my vain humanity and cravings
But in that shall i seek safety and solace!
Much has been the noise about love and
Peace yet to find. I shall deny myself goods
And seek peace from the alcove of my heart!

What is more to life, to eat, to breathe,
To be honoured or to acquire goods?
I tire of this humdrum existence.
It is one mind from bad to good,
It is one spirit from Jainism to Islam,
It is one flesh from poverty to wealth,
Only the result from the aura tells.
Hear, both tears and laughter have
Complement my health.
A man in a cell is being restrained by law
And same a man on the open street is being
Restrained by custom and constitution.
A man who knew was once not in existence
And cry to have come forth from womb
Why weep again who is to be gone to oblivion?

Capn Waller An Perth

  Captain Waller & Perth

The Japanese navy they came south,
Invaded Indonesia, in 1942
Cruiser Perth of 6 inch guns,
Captain Hector Waller was to choose her,

De Ruyter, Java , Perth and the 8 inch guns of USS. Houston,
They fought battles against overwhelming odds,
Dodged 5 torpedo attacks till sunk were the 2 Dutch cruisers,
Waller took Houston with him, back to Indonesia,
Reload refuel to fight again, fought to the death, not losers,

These 2 game ships attacked the invasion fleet,
With guns a bloody blazing, fired torpedoes and sunk,
Some Transports , damaged Cruisers , quite amazing,
point blank at Destroyers chasing,
till one of a hundred torpedoes hit,
And Perth went down still racing,
Houston she sank about 20 minutes later,
Japanese thought they fought a Battleship,
So much damage it was crazy.
Don Johnson

http://www.gunplot.net/perthww2/Perth.htm
Captain Waller continued on at half speed in an effort to stop the ship taking more men with her when she finally went. Then her bows dipped gently down, her stern raised out of the water, only one of her four screws still turning. It was said she did not sink but 'steamed out'. Her much loved Captain last seen in the glare of the flames, on the bridge, giving orders.
Houston, after a similarly heroic performance also went down. Perth's total complement was 681. Of these 353 were lost in action, 4 died ashore and 324 were captured, of these 106 died whilst prisoners of war 53 of them on the infamous Burma-Siam railway.
In all the Japanese had lost fifteen ships and could not believe that a Battleship was not present. A report in the Syonan Times in Japan in 1942 read - In the terrific battle in Sunda Strait many ships on both sides were sunk. It must be remembered, however, that the lighter Nipponese ships were fighting a superior force which included a battleship".The Japan Times made a similar admission.
Commemoration $5 coin minted by the Australian mint to mark the 60th. Anniversary of the Battle of Sunda Strait.
In 2002, the Royal Australian Mint produced a special $5 coin depicting both Perth and Houston, designed to remember the 60th. Anniversary of their sacrifice, and sinking, at the Battle of Sunda Strait in 1942.

Unspoken Implication Belied Bon Geste

(unsettled conscience beckons expunging)

Upon espying aesthetically pleasing lass
(considerably younger than me),
middle aged ma'am, or classy older woman
impetuousness overtakes rationality
courting acquaintanceship constituting

aforementioned type female
these premature ejaculations
blindside yours truly
upon comfort level
of unfamiliar lady recipient,

(especially years gone by
with then young daughters in tow)
oft times lacked conscientious wherewithal,
how embarrassing offspring felt
at their buffoon papa appearing,

intimating, kickstarting... rapport
at first blush evincing politesse,
yet keen eldest progeny
adept to discern in apropos overture,
despite being well mannered

couched foray, an unconscious insinuation
discerned, hinted, leveraged...
unspoken ulterior motive,
yet honest to dog overt blurting
complement toward veritable stranger

essentially, intrepidly, overtly...
stated genuine pleasantry
attempting to recoup losses
from utterly abysmal
socially withdrawn adolescence

could easily be interpreted
as sexual innuendo
(particularly witnessed by
acutely perceptive first born),
whose reverence, asper in this dada

plummeted, especially cuz
similar instances occurred,
where ambiguity
to formulate unfavorable conclusion

tacked on her growing
list of gripes against dada
loosely analogous to Martin Luther,
whereby his “95 Theses,”
which propounded two central beliefs -

the Bible and central religious authority -
humans may reach salvation only
by their faith and not by their deeds -
was to spark Protestant Reformation,
which essentially kindled

figurative fuel to the fire
incrementally cleaving paternal dotage
undesirable, no matter Pedophilia
never goaded what in mine mind
amounted proving daring do,
since suppressed infatuations

decades past, this then
extremely reclusive knew
nothing about powder milk biscuits
to give shy people the strength
they need to get up and
do what needs to be done.

Thus, an apologia without exception,
whether or not these words seen to deux
darling daughters, plus
other gals who experienced discomfort
at innocuous attempt
to get linkedin with
whirling wide webbing of women.

Incorrigible Lottery Dreamer

Paradise visage and eyes a bulge with dollar signs
whets imagination with PowerBall ticket bought
expect the usual outcome after next drawing to yield monetary naught
temptation for instant millions
human foible to reach for elusive pot of gold
streak of universal desire for potential wealth overtakes rational self
   with delusions of grandeur caught
allow, enable and provide flirtation with fate to experience rich draught
envision emancipation from penury a distant battle fought
and tacked hard scrapple existence wrought.

at the core
legal tender in such precious chronically in short supply
   within this family of four
though times eye desire at least another son or daughter more
at such urge (long silenced of this ram beau by ewe
   too who) did vehemently roar
boot budding young girls I whole-heartedly love and adore
who rush into my arms whenever back from trivial pursuits
   nearly squeezing out digested gore
when casually and nonchalantly turn the key to open the front door
akin to the finest crafted clock work to sound the time of day
they still dance and frolic like kittens or puppies
bring newspaper and slippers sharing silly concocted faux pa lore
inviting me to play make believe games on the floor
enjoying revelry without keeping score
yet…creating memories I will forever store.

Financial straits make our existence hand to mouth
all grandiose aspirations to succeed in life frequently head south.

Creative endeavors find excitement and linguistic pleasure
thru the attempt to pry poem or prose from mind
deliberate semblance to communicate and extract idea from cranial rind
words that synchronize suitably in poetic third eye bind
readers may espy hidden puns within this rhyme lined
with challenges or commiserate and complement via words of positive kind
although large sum of money would be a dog send
delivered by one blessed angel in disguise
redemption and salvation considered thankful find.

Much rather be cursed with excess wealth
Deliverance to life, liberty and mental health
Depravity foreign concept never to rue by stealth
bomber - to obliterate penury via greenback legal tendered war.

The Big Smile

I just cannot resist that smile
it is making the whole world go wild
everyone is tearing up and
even the little baby is touched.

The last time I saw this smile was when
when I was a child,
 I attended my aunts wedding
and she tossed the flowers all over the lawn,
and everyone tried to catch it
and one woman fell into the ditch
the flowers fell out of her hand
and every on scramble
to catch it before it fell to the ground

I can see the same scene playing
out in front of me and I can’t help
but reviving that smile of an age old irony
smile even when it is not funny
smile when you are on your way to calvary
and when the wedding song goes wrong
smile and sing a different song

Look at those people over there
they have so much to share
they have been working from
morning till midnight
and they never complain about
the painful sacrifice
all I see on their face is a big smile

Flowers bursting out the ground
 spilling sweet fragrance all round
 the universe suddenly comes alive
spreading sunlight with joy and delight
It is breathtaking to see the people smile

The birds in the trees are happy
and they are singing sweet melody
they are looking for other birds to mate with
in country, town, and cities
you see that one on the upper branch
it is a perfect match for the one on the lower branch

Just look how they blend together
they both complement each other’s sorrow
but they never express their emotions
In front of the other birds, their smile is
contagious and it touches the world

The heaviness is slowly is moving away
and something magnificent is coming your way
I can see smiling facing everywhere and the
skies are pouring out fresh air
a new energy is chiming in ,
we are done with singing that old broken hymn
All the birds are flying around reminding us that
spring is around and something motivating is coming to town

Smile when no one cares
smile when you are alone over there
smile when the day is done
smile when you are on the run
and when the pressure increase, smile
Smile and have fun, and when you are in trouble, smile
Smile when the mission is complete
Smile when you can’t feel your heart beat.
