Premium Member Unusual Nightmares

Life can be a different nightmare
when philo-sophias self-righteously
uprightly leave us behind
so long in search of success
measured in wealth of commodified acquisitions
rather than health of natural/spiritual capitalization
of virtuously co-managed left/right
co-balancing cooperative structures
for co-investing future resilience,

Like a thirsty hummingbird
living in a too-red environment,

Like dissonant notes
hiding in a too-rich symphony,

Community, communion investing in health
not as ordered by MotherEarth
as demonic TaskMaster of perpetual raw-spot punishment
in perpetually vicious win/lose competitions
against past and future disgraced generations,
rather than wealthy sacred interdependent venerations.

Philosophers and politicians
preachers and prophets
parents and their prey
might instead invest in Earth rights and lefts
as our dance and play Mother
embracing more cooperative win/win choreography,
ecological theologies of color
and scale,

More of a sweet spot multigenerational tango
searching out climatic self-governing unity
rather than a righteous raw spot monocultural war
of nightmartish lose/lose uniformity
unto climate collapsing apocalypse,

Mortality of life
giving way to ecocentric wise dancing regenerations
of local through global multicultural Earth,
enjoying nature more cooperatively-managed,
never competitively-owned in spiritualized theories
of universal Yang Domination
with too complexly uniform marching into fragmented war orders
over-ruling uniting invitations
into win/win multigenerational YinDance,

Now wiser about distinguishing
between individualistic capitalism,
supporting business as usual
monoculturally colonizing patriarchy

And Earth's cooperative capitalization,
actively inviting natural/spiritual
sweet spot win/win dialogue
more than raw spot,
Who is the biggest Loser of vanishing success?
academic debates

Confusing wealth requirements
with healthy response to
What is winning?
Since before liberating philosophers
severed natural nutritional eco-healthy balance
from spiritually robust wealthy ego-investment.

Life in and on Earth's resonant ecosystems
can be a different nightmare
when philo-sophias self-righteously
upright leave us behind
so long in search
of health's wealthiest eco-political success.

Premium Member Three Little Lines

1) haiku* untitled:

october winds
of scattered maple leaves
~ handwritten poems

2) a three-line poem titled:

OF AUTUMN LEAVES AND ALL

a three-line poem is open to free verse, alliteration or rhyme
October winds wakening the muse within the silence of each mime
advice to all that if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime

3) a free verse poem titled:

SO LONG AGO

in the flurry of October winds
the dance of scarlet maple leaves
reminded me of how I loved you so

*HAIKU RULES
I joined a national Haiku club to discover they are sticklers for rules and there are MANY MANY haiku rules ~ HAIKU is exactly the opposite of free verse in every possible way ~
In a nutshell ~ haiku are supposed to be observations of a moment in nature without embellishments, no passing judgment, no use of fantasy or abstract concepts. It's basically two simple ideas with a ‘turn’ that is essential: it's almost like the punchline of a joke but haiku is not really meant to be funny per se.

Here is an informal list of HAIKU GUIDELINES:
1. 5-7-5 is the max syllable count – “haiku should be read in one breath” so there can be less syllables per line.
2. ALWAYS NATURE-related with usually reference to 1 of the 4 seasons: spring, summer, fall, winter.
3. OFTEN the ‘turn’ is on the second line (takes the reader in another direction).
4. NO unnecessary capitalization.
5. NO title (if you must, use first word(s) of haiku).
6. NO unnecessary punctuation at end of lines.
7. NO use of abstract concepts (must be concrete).
8. NO personification.
9. NO unnecessary adjectives or adverbs.
10. NO full sentences: it’s a poem of few words with much left unsaid.
11. NO use of fantasy.
12. NO similes allowed.
13. NO explanation of haiku in last line.
14. NO heavy emotional words (should be felt not read).
15. MUST have a feeling of the present moment (NO past or future).
16. MUST be more than a description.
17. MAX 2 ideas (scenery + thought).
18. Rare use of I, you or we.

Sometimes we love what we created and it goes against many of the haiku rules ~ there's nothing wrong with creating “haiku-like” poems, they can be quite effective… we just should not call them ‘haiku’.

Alphabet Soup

Eating alphabet soup with a straw so you can play Scrabble with the leftovers
Lyrics from an obscure band is music to your ears
Shaving off the November scruff that was plastered on your face
Nightmares are less frequent yet still take their toll
Promises that I will wake up - drink some water - and fall back asleep
The medication makes my mouth arid
spitting out vowels and consonants and shaping them into poems
choking on the nouns and verbs that populate my speech patterns
laughing to oneself and thinking "Maybe I don't have an accent."
Raising one's glass to wish good health to a room full of people whom you cherish
breaking down into tears - but you're in the shower - so it all blends in
trying to remove the dirt from underneath your fingernails that you have anxiously chewed
dancing to a song that has been over for five minutes but the chorus remains in your mind
choosing not to look up the lyrics to the songs on your vinyl album
holding, breathing, remaining pure to the one young woman whose heart you protect
Remembering the words of your late grandfather who told you not to wonder too much - or you'll get lost yet I found the courage
to look into the eyes of Death
and say "Check Mate."
All of my dreams end up with me doing some project and looking down - just to find my exposed body
I even watch what I eat before I go to bed - but the raw and gritty details remain
to tell the truth - that things are terrific - I'll tell my therapist
I was born in the December of '92.
Walked this Earth for seven years.
Decided I know what I am destined to become.
Emerging from a crystalized coocoon.
I spread my wings and learn to write
Poems about loss, love, and human nature
Rearranging the pasta in my bowl to spell out
some SAT word I have only used twice
in conversation
laughing at my grammar, my spelling, and my love of the Oxford Comma.
Captializing Words That Don't Need Capitalization
because Oscar Wilde and Walt Whitman did it first
Taking time to think things through and telling yourself : "You're stronger than you know."
My weakness: "Carbs and late-night with Craig Ferguson."
My strengths: "I am a writer and a Poet I shall remain."
Do we have any more alphabet soup?

If love is healthy
perhaps health is a form of love,
like synergetic relationships,
witnessing awesome consciousness
of bilateral co-arising events
as love connection,
healthy function.
All, or at least most, circuits and systems
positive co-empathic functioning.

So hatred would be pathology,
disassociating circuits and systems.

But, what about apathy?
Apathy and hatred,
a pathology monoculturing spectrum?
as passive peace and active love
emerge a healthy polyculturing network
of eco-nesting systems.

God, then, as love
emerges divine healthy outcomes,
Earth's Source of peace in darker denser rest,
and also more ecstatic activity co-arising love,
therapeutic relationships and transactions
of eco- and biosystems,
finding peace for quieter nights,
establishing ergodic patterns
of integral love
for daytime romance,
creation stories
unfolding one day
one synergetic season
one fractal-bilateral fold of Sacred Memory
as Medicine Becoming
in good/beauty
physical/mental health time.

Going back, then, to love as healthy
and apathy through hatred
unease through diseased

Could health inspire a divine comedy
ego/eco-logic of in/out-side wealth
of compassionate cooperation?

As pathology is a double-negative economy
of Lose to Lose dissociative competition?
runaway Capitalization
absent brakes of unconditional warm regard.

Earth emerges chronic need
of human nature's transformation
from anthro-supremacist competition with other bio-systems
to health-centric compassion
of Yin's peaceful
endosymbiotic
integral flow temporal functions
emerging Yang's polyculturally harmonic
ectosymbiotic
open-systemic
fractal-polysyntax spatial forms,
together co-arising space/time's
body/mind balancing dipolar cooperative
health empowering systems
as economically enlightened
nutritional communication flowcircuits
enhealthing dense polycultural trust
and beauty.

ReGenesis Design grows health-benefitting roots
in multicultural synergetic outcomes,
therapeutic systems of EarthTribe integrity,
facilitating co-arising internal/external
healthy communication nurturing circuits
of wealthy wu wei flow.

Premium Member The Nature Preserve

I don't know many people so urbanized
they would not prefer a nature preserve
and star light
for neighbors, day and night,
over a new developed suburbanization.

Not too many people smile
when they drive by a familiar farm
with woodlands,
now scraped and scaped,
graveled and turfed,
cut down and razed with concrete foundations,
ready for more humans
not preserving natural relations
with more diverse species.

Nature preserves
promote both natural and spiritual reserves.

External nature preservation
emotionally walks
senses
feels and smells and touches
internal spiritual reserves,
sanctuary,
sacred habitat.

Most of us still cherish
natural multicultural places
as also spiritual polyphonic spaces
to visit,
know as cherished neighbors.

Few of us still live and love
as residents among sacramental traces
of past Paradise.

Even if right-brain's emotional integrity of Earth sensed
as an interdependent matriarchal reservation
for restoring justice
through multicultural preservation
of inclusively democratic peace
has atrophied
to prefer the smell of asphalt
and chemically treated turf,

Together,
we can still remember
sacred ecological relationships,
glowing star lit nights,
cherished campfire habitats
following only DNA's inspired multicultural health
as spirited happiness
regenerating prosperity instructions.

Natural wisdom
that what is good,
even for autonomous ego-development,
is also healthy
for sacred Nature's preservation,
including Humane Places,

Often,
in left-brain dominant prose,
We invest capitalized empowerment intention

And,
we fail to naturally reserve more capitalization
for what feeds our Spiritual Integrity Preservation.

Premium Member Doublethink Beliefs

This life
Raised with absolute values, rules and regulations
Questioning them constantly, expecting to be killed for it.
I pretend to believe, for my own sake, when I am a child.
As an adult, question things in Sunday School, and feel wrath of others.
Doublethink belief, I am a liberalism wanting liberty and equality.
Whereas capitalization and socialization is impressed upon me with iron hands.
I wiggle out and escape, remembering that I rooted for the Indians
as a child in the sixties, feeling an empathy for them as every TV show
allowed the cowboys to dominate and rule.

My Next Life
I hope to take my New Age beliefs with me into my next life
Sure, I have incorporated a bit of Christianity, mostly the New Testament.
I hope to remember how to hypnotize myself, and to meditate.
It has served me almost better than prayers which are answered quickly.
I hope to incorporate my open-minded attitude, and my need to know.
Whatever comes will be up to my angels and spirit guides, of course.
They know the messages and knowledge I have learned in other lifetimes.
I hope to retain my imagination, and be allowed the childlike freedom to play.

As my breath flows, here and now
I plan to dabble in life with a toe full of chocolate.
A heart full of mirth, which is not directed toward others.
But rather full of hope and optimism that this might be one of my last incarnations
For I think the ultimate goal is to give away my ego and my individuality
And become one with Godmind, encouraging and inspiring the ones who struggle
to maintain hope, inspiration, enthusiasm and confidence.
I cannot imagine any position more worthwhile.
I believe this is the quintessential goal and I look forward to it.

"i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go . . . )"

                               By_ E.E. Cummings(1894-1962)

I love the nonconformist approach of E.E. Cummings
        his style has such freedom
the intentional grammar mistakes ... delightful
                    his structure inspiring

I love the lack of capitalization and punctuation
        his made up silly words
and erratic spacing and scrunched up words
                     he threw away rules

I love how E.E. could write silly and also romantic
        he always wanted to write
his early notebooks includes prayers of inspiration
                      E. E. I do that too

I love many of the same things that E.E. loved
        like art, and Paris, France
he experienced a lot of heartbreak and grief
                      E.E. I have too

I love how he never gave up on finding true love
and I am happy he found it
he wrote every single day ... I do too
                      wish I met him

I love how he had the courage to self publish his work
        his poetry, plays and books
this is a poet that I have admired very much
                       E.E. Cummings ...

"-in the woods

And the coolness of your smile is
