Once read that a kangaroo can't jump
Unless its tail is touching the ground
I've tried it and I couldn't jump either
I too was literally earthbound
Heaviest land mammal is the elephant
Weighing close to 8,000 pounds
Me mum-in-law comes in a close second
Those booms are her walking around
A quarter has 119 grooves on its edge
A dime has only 118 grooves
Bet you'll be able to sleep well tonight
This information tends to soothe
A whale's heart beats only 9 times a minute
Faster when they're having sex
Imagine the picture you guys are seeing
Afterward, smoking a cigarette
It's a little-known fact that baby robins
Eat 14 feet of worms a day
The heartburn these guys must be having
Need lotsa Pepto Bismol I'd say
If you decide to walk all the way to the sun
It would take you bout 2000 years
If someone started back in 18 A.D.
They're just about to burn up, I fear
In Turkey, back in the 16th century
Drinking coffee could get you hanged
Imagine if they killed you for that today
Populations would drop with a bang
Every 8 seconds, a new baby is born
Every 14 seconds there's a death
Suggest we all stop having sex every night
Coz there won't be any space left!
I'm writing tender words
to describe a pretty sunset,
and captivated by its colors,
I take on the spirit of Monet!
Loneliness is felt in that moment
I realize that something is missing...
the essential element of closeness;
it's the urgent need to touch hands,
to explore another wonderful feeling!
Is there such a thing as a wildfire started by anger
that will burn up letters kept in a bedroom drawer,
never sent out to someone so precious but forgotten?
Do feelings quickly die when fondness is not shown?
In the rush of things, we may forget that we exist
to give each other comfort and build lasting trust;
if we ignored everything else and worried less:
we would be much closer and truer to ourselves!
Another wonderful feeling is the source of all joy,
we have lost all faith and put away every hope:
instead of being strong, we're the victims of vanity
that offers endless misery and a false horoscope!
CHRISTMAS DINNER---
Christmas dinner, what should I bring to the table?
What should I wear?
Should I even care?
And am I able;
To put down my gifts;
My Christmas wish;
Is, to live eternally with Lord Jesus;
Christmas day, did I wake up instantly and thank God;
For all the things that He does;
For allowing, sending down His only Son;
To save the world;
All these material things and gold;
Will melt away burn up someday;
Are you ready for your soul;
To be placed in heaven;
This is the best...present;
Jesus died for you and me, are you thankful
This is Christmas day Christ mass day;
Born in a manger Jesus laid;
Hung on the cross Jesus paid;
The price for us, not to be loss;
Jesus is the best gift
Our soul is the best gift
We have for eternal life;
What should I wear?
Should I even care?
And am I able;
To put down my gifts;
My Christmas wish;
Is, to live eternally with Lord Jesus;
Christmas day, did I wake up instantly and thank God;
For all the things that He does;
For allowing, sending down His only Son;
To save the world;
All these material things and gold;
Will melt away burn up someday;
Are you ready for your soul;
To be placed in heaven;
This is the best...present;

Pray hearken, Fire, to my life’s fervent urge:
Kindle thine all-consuming power, red hue,
Burn up her mortal dross sans residue,
That she into base elements can merge;
Scorch all her pains that she suffers no more,
All stumbling stones irking like an old wart,
All sufferings failing to heal her heart,
Which may live on and just as was before
That she retains, and ever tender green,
The vestiges of her earnest desire
To love me, her heaving heart’s fragrant fire
For me; and let the rest all burn off clean.
This done let her wake, a fresh life to start,
New flesh and form, and a young feeling heart.

Poet's note: Here is a man in ardent love with his wife who has just died. She has to be cremated so that a new life is created. He is requesting Fire on a burning pyre to scorch off all of her mortal body, all her pains, except her loving heart.
If you are feeling disheartened
That you are somehow not enough
Set your heart a Ablaze.
You may feel like digging your heels in
You might want to curl in a ball and hide
But the flow of time waits for no one
It won’t patiently stand by as you wallow in your greif
Burn up your Heart.
Grit your teeth, dry your eye straight ahead
And keep pushing forward.
Through the funnel of time, we are hurried like the wind - it doesn't stop to whisper,
Life, swift and silent, flows in rivers of liquid sand.
With each fleeting moment, the profound avoids us, camouflages itself - it doesn't speak,
And we leave behind a grandeur of untouched depths, an unmovable Atlantis.
We are long shadows in hastened dusks, forgetting to question,
Day by day becomes a sea of banality, foam on forgotten waters.
The sentence of our days seems woven from an incurable haste,
We awake with souls wandering, asking why our life is all shattered?
In the boiling of the clock, conversations burn up, leaving only dim embers,
We look back over the dunes of years, seeking an oasis sprinkled with meaning.
Prisoners in the labyrinth of superficiality, where sonorous echoes we do not find,
The years have left us with the regret that everything is now – a dense equivocation.
Ah, we are phantoms running through the corridors of time - mere pulse and dream,
Without stopping to listen to the silence that speaks with us, that sneaks in.
We wonder melancholically where all the moments we missed have gone, so late,
In the end, we seek the others, only when the present has sunk, and we find that everything was a treasure.
A jealous woman am I…a very jealous woman
For you are MY man, my very own possession
Yes, I own you, you are under my lock and key
Don’t you dare look at her, for you belong to ME!
My passion is a gilded cage, but a cage nonetheless
If you dare try to escape, you’ll suffer… I confess
You know I will track you down and then I’ll make you pay
I’ll bring fire to your nights and torture you by day
You are branded with my love, it's plan for all to see
Revenge on thieves will be swift to varying degree
The fire that burns you up when you are in MY bed
Will burn up your heart if you dare love her instead
You’re mine…all mine…mine and ONLY mine
Baby, don’t mess things up, and I will treat you fine
I’ll be your muse, I’ll be your slave, I’ll be your everything
Ask of me your every wish, and I’ll treat you like a king.
A jealous woman am I, a very jealous woman...
If you stay my very own, I’ll make you taste of heaven.

Twenty-four days before Christmas in 1958 there was a huge fire
at Our Lady of the Angels, a Catholic grade school in Chicago
Eighty-seven children and three nuns died in this fire.
One of the children who passed was Mary’s little sister, Karen.
She was to be a first grader forever.
Mary was in the fourth grade at the time.
Mary spent years trying to forget that day, the worst day ever.
The frantic nuns, the commotion, the smoke, the frenzy.
Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting on the sidewalk across the street.
Watching the school burn up, wondering where Karen was.
A sister who never came home.
Mary felt shame for leaving her.
She had wanted to run in there and rescue Karen.
But the adults restrained her.
Her family waited for hours hoping for a miracle.
Watching the front door, praying Karen would walk inside.
She never did.
Eighty-six other children did not return home either.
Probably led to heaven by the three nuns.
All alone up here
no where to go at all
no room to move, to play
to stand,no room at all
what should I do now
maybe more of the same
maybe nothing at all,why not
A light year maybe two away
I went all hell bent look at me now
lost lost,nobody to look for me now
nobody out here at all
lost all communications
I know they think that I'm dead
if theres no hope
I hope I burn up soon
the feeling of nothingness
I'll be MAD in another day
on my way to what
to where, just out there
owell batteries almost dead
oxegen real low
all I can do is dream dream dream,so long
