I used to love to pick my nose.
After 3,
Better than playing with my toes.
With a nose you see,
Each little crevasse has a surprise for me!
A goober,
A booger.
Nothing I would find amiss.
Cleanest nose in town,
Until Momma was around.
Momma said, "Don't pick your nose,
You might get it on my hose!
There are not gold doubloons in there,
Just goobers and boogers.
Perhaps a bit of hair."
But that's the whole point!
My boogers and goobers,
Are my snacks at night!
Mommas in bed.
It's dark,
No one will see.
Just me and my nose,
Boogers and goobers are free!
Greetings. We received your toxic tax documents today; proceeded to immerse them in the de-cootie wash for precisely 30 minutes; then showered them with Gamma Ray’s, which is not what you think it is, but rather a high powered barbecue sauce (made by some Texan’s grandma) that’s strong enough to knock those little booger viruses out clean cold. The only problem is, by the time we detoxified your tax documents, no print was left and the paper had the consistency of TP. So, you guessed it, seein’ as how TP is more or less the top selling commodity worldwide as such, I put it up for sale on eBay and made enough money where I can retire and never do taxes again. So, I want to thank you for supplying the seed that germinated my newfound wealth, and I’m happy to inform you that you’ll be receiving an autographed copy of my soon to be published book, which I thoughtfully titled “CORNFED-19 Pandamick—Making Lemonade From Lemons” by T. P. Roller (which happens to be my sudo-numb). Have a nice evening!

most zany woodpecker knocks—
heh-heh-heh-hehhhh-heh
5/2/2020
This is a zany, flight of fancy, inspired by my secular profession after 4 weeks of lockdown! The resulting haiku is inspired by Woody Woodpecker—created by Walter Lantz and Ben Hardaway—a cartoon that appeared in theatrical short films produced by the Walter Lantz Studio and distributed by Universal Studios. Woody Woodpecker first appeared in the short film "Knock, Knock" (November 25, 1940). Woody Woodpecker's unforegettable signature laugh begins with "heh-heh-heh-hehhhh-heh," which works well with my haiku since it has 5 syllables! (Woody Woodpecker | Wikipedia) TMI? Oh, my!
'Twas a week before Christmas
And I've not done my shopping
I was going this morning
But first, my floors needed a mopping
I was going to mop them
But I first had to broom
Then, I waited to sweep them
Till I first cleaned the room
With pots and pans messy
From the cookies I baked
And icing on the counter
Where the cookies were caked
I wanted to run the dishwasher
Before I swept the floor
And I wanted to wipe fingerprints
That were smudged on the door
But I waited to do that
Till I cleaned out my fridge
But I figure I'd wait
Till I ate me a smidge...
Of waffles with butter
All smothered in sugar
But I lost my darn appetite
When I noticed a booger
With all that I've not done
It had messed with my head
Said- "The hell with my shopping...
I'll just go back to bed"
(This is a fictional poem)
I have a cousin who's an idiot.
Everyone in town wants to kick his butt.
He smokes and drinks through his nose.
He does it wherever he goes.
He sticks a straw up his nose and sucks pepsi down his throat.
He has no friends because he has the table manners of a goat.
He had a cigarette up his nose and it had a big booger on the end of it.
When he offered me a puff of hi cigarette, I had a fit.
I gave him a black eye and I shoved a lit cigarette up his ###.
He got a bad burn and it hurts when he passes gas.
He's a moron and a nut.
People love to break their feet off in his butt.
Form:
Mi: Does God eat his boogers?
Eu: No of course God doesn't eat his boogers.
Mi: But I thought God could do anything.
Eu: Well he could eat his boogers but he just wouldn't.
Mi: So he does have boogers.
Eu: I don't know, I don't think God has boogers.
Mi: God can have anything he wants.
Eu: I don't think he wants boogers.
Mi: I don't think we can understand the mind of God.
Eu: We can't.
Mi: Maybe god is a booger.
Eu: God's not a booger.
Mi: But if God is all things, he's an all-knowing booger.
Eu: Stop it.
Mi: He's a wrathful all-knowing booger.
Eu: I'm not talking to you anymore.
Squirm the Germ
Vs.1
There’s a germ, his name is Squirm, he lives inside our head, and when we cough or sneeze or wheeze, he jumps right out instead! So…..
(Point to your head, then use both hands wide open to show how the germs will jump out)
Chorus
Cover your cough! (make cough noise into the crook of your arm.)
Cover your sneeze! (make sneeze noise into crook of your arm)
There’s no need to make others get sick!(waggle your index finger back and forth in a “no,no” gesture)
Cover your cough! Cover your sneeze!
It’s a really cool, stay healthy, tip! Yea! (hold two thumbs up)
Vs2.
Well, when that germ gets on my hands, no matter what I do, The only way to make him go is water and soap too! (use hand motions that mimik hand washing)
That squirmy germ just hates it! He thinks it’s such a pain! He squirms and gags and jumps right off, and washes down the drain!(Make funny “yuk” faces and twirling motion with your finger as if going down the drain)
Chorus
Sooo...Cover your cough! Cover your sneeze! There’s no need to make others get sick. Cover your cough! Cover your sneeze!
It’s a really cool, stay healthy, tip! Yea!
Vs3.
And when that germ gets in my nose, yes, right inside my snout…(point to your nose) I want to use my finger, to dig that germie out! ( mimic nose picking) But, I really shouldn’t do that, it will spread that germ about, so I will grab a tissue, and blow that booger out!(mimic blowing your nose into a tissue)
Chorus
sooo...Cover your cough! Cover your sneeze!
There’s no need to make others get sick. Cover your cough! Cover your sneeze! It’s a really cool…..stay healthy….TIP! YEA MAN!
On the Who Net a rumor was making its way
the mean old green Grinch planned to steal Christmas Day!
Cindy Lou Who(who was not more than two)
and all the Who kids knew just what they'd do.
Thus on Christmas Eve they all went to bed
like angels—parents didn't care what they'd said!
The kids all kept watch out their windows that night
just waiting for “Green Ass” to come into sight,
which he did as I'm sure it's not hard to guess
so they had their stuff ready to get in his mess.
He came into Cindy Lou Who's window first;
she was so excited she practically burst!
But she had her air gun loaded and ready
and looked through the cross hairs right good and steady.
Before the Grinch entered not one leg, but two
she'd leveled her weapon right at his “Hoo-Hoo”!
He not only screamed like a banshee from hell
he jumped from the house and ran off as well.
The other Who kids knew what to do, too:
they jumped from their windows and shouted, “Guess Who?”
They shot him in just the same place Cindy hit,
with all the abuse it had grown quite a bit!
They kept shooting and shooting as he quickly ran
like a big old wet booger they'd tossed in the can!
It wasn't his heart that three sizes grew,
but his now-swollen, green-tighted, throbbing Hoo-Hoo!
The Next morning Who Christmas came after all,
with all of the new toys the kids had a ball!
The Grinch was not seen again by the Who;
with a Hoo-Hoo that swollen, I'd stay home too!

Little one,
Why do you cry?
It's time to sleep
And you should try.
There is no need
To be afraid.
It's only monsters
YOU have made.
No creature lives
Beneath your bed,
With shining teeth
And horns on head.
The closet only
Holds your cloths and
The door will stay
Completely closed.
There's no such thing
As Booger Bear
Or Big Bad Wolf
That live in there.
Together we
Can beat this fear.
Close your eyes
And I'll stay near.
Just think about
The better things,
Like Oreos
Or diamond rings.
Of high heel shoes
And princess crowns.
Polished nails
And silken gowns.
Of puppy dogs
And tiny kittens,
None of which have
Lost their mittens.
Of powdered sugar
Donut holes
Leaving sweetness
On your nose.
Now, get some sleep.
Just close your eyes,,,
What? We all need
To sleep,,,that's why!
