Explain why it's rains when the sun is shinning,
The question that came out on my science exam.
Its an easy question,
Its because sometimes the clouds are too thin,
Or maybe it's too windy out,
Which causes the phenomenon Sunshower,
Where the sun shines while it's still raining.
But I don't get it.
How can both a warm sun,
And cold rain go hand in hand?
How can the sun shine so brightly while it's raining like crazy?
How can a person smile so angelicly,
While suffering from doubts and depression constantly?
How can a person love and laugh so peacefully,
When their mind is a total train reck?
How can a person be so kind,
While being talked and taunted on over and over again?
How can a person still live,
When they want to die,
When they no longer want to survive?
How can a person believe that there will be a rainbow,
A beautiful phenomenon,
When the sun and rain are opposites of one another?
How can a person be expected to believe that good things will come eventually,
When they're going through a crisis, when they're faking a smile, faking being okay,
Just so they can have a sound of mind?
How can a Sunshower make one feel at ease,
When even the sky knows,
If there wasn't a rainbow after the rain,
Everyone would complain.
A Sunshower is just the sky concealing it's hurt and pain with a smile,
With a seven-coloured rainbow which makes everyone around peaceful and happy.
A Sunshower,
Feels so familiar yet so distant,
So warm yet so cold,
So deep yet so shallow.
A 'sunshowered' person,
Sounds just like me.
One who fakes everything,
Pretending to be okay,
Erasing the presence of rain with sunshines and rainbow,
With a sunshower.
When very young, no more than a lad,
mom spanked my hand when I was bad.
Tommy don't meddle, son don't do that,
then on my bottom was placed a love spat.
I could not climb to reach things high,
from where I stood they touched the sky.
I dared never venture to play with fire,
for this would surely bring mother's ire.
Boys don't fuss, boys please don't fight,
you've both been taught this isn't right.
Don't play on the couch, get off the bed,
when we persisted our fannies became red.
As older I grew along came the switch,
this tool of the devil could make me twitch.
Upon my legs red whelps were bared,
to a headstrong boy from a mom who cared.
A mother who at times slept on the floor,
who worried and waited to open the door.
A mother who always gave us what she had,
one who influenced my life when I was a lad.
On this mothers day although she's not here,
in these simple lines I still feel that she's near.
At eighty hard years her life's work was done,
now at ease with Jesus, her victory's been won.
You held me with hope in mind
You gave me light when I was blind
You gave me home when I was lost, oh so lost
You gave me love when I needed it the most
You held me with peace in heart from the very start
You gave me might when I was weak and tearing apart
I walked my lonesome road
You are my lovely abode
I was fading away until you gave me significant meaning in life
I was hanging by a thread and you saved me from the knife
You accept me cheerfully
You embraced my descending emotions remarkably
You reject callous negativity
Your spirit will always remain ascending for an eternity
Sincere music is in my brain once more and there's hope in store
Enthusiastic, therapeutic happiness makes me miraculously soar
There's a sunrise in your eyes
There's a hello above the goodbyes
Peace, acceptance and love holds me tight
Every day and night
Every day and night
You make me take fantastic flight
You gave me a sweet present of peace
You give me bravery to lift up my feet at ease
You save me with Your loving grace from the sea of sorrow
You gave me tomorrow's sunlit sky and a smile to borrow
I can't deny Your ardent acceptance of who I am
Sundrenched solitude leaves me feeling joyous and breathless
Happiness and Your deliverance is a broken dam
That releases many waters of blissfulness unto lands of gladness
You held me with hope in mind
From on high
From on high
Green hill, grassy knoll,Mossy mountain slope,
The joy that is to come.high ridge, fresh stream,
ditch and canyon, overflowing basin.
To be at ease and without a heavy load in life,
A place of peace, we dwell in joy
Innocent of the ways of the king's land
Like Eden, without deceit and wicked schemes
Yet cynicism enters deep within,
Weariness of life drives us far away.
We are saddened, we encounter pain
This painful world is full of sorrow
A thing that passes quickly,
only temporary,Life dies, we cannot
live it forever.We are mortal,
we all depart,
Our blood returns to the earth
Form:
we now come to the question
of ‘who am I’ posed by Ramana
for which do dwell on this postulation
beginning with this-ness of body enigma
we as individuated aspects of God Himself
ensoul this form as a material interface
which has urges of its own, lower self
ego, belief in it, our fall from grace
as such, here as reflected light
we are both the object and subject
melding head and heart births clear sight
exiting stagnation, free of desire-fear-regret
flowing thus gently like the breeze, at ease
our emptiness vibrant in blissfulness
each pulse embrace and release
one with the That oneness

#Ludicrous Lover
(Would love for Beyoncé to sing this one day)
Oh, oh, oh
Oh you ludicrous lover
Unlike any other…
Hmmmm
I wanted another
Ooh , ooh , ooh!
Oh you ludicrous lover
You are a sister and a brother
Unlike any other…
Swing, swing and bring me to my knees
Bring, bring me to my solace please
Please, please won’t you feel the blessed breeze
It’s a wicked wind at ease
It’s a wicked wind at eeease!…
Oh, oh, oh
Such a ludicrous lover
I won’t bother, being your sister
But, you loved another
And now I receive many-a blister
Ooh , ooh , ooh!
Oh you ludicrous lover
You are a sister and a brother
Unlike any other…
Swing, swing and bring me to my knees
Bring, bring me to my solace please
Please, please won’t you feel the blessed breeze
It’s a wicked wind at ease
And we’re in unity…
Like a heavenly harmony
You’re my melody…
You set me free from captivity
And now, we’re captive
Let go and go and let live!
Believe in the Lord of Accord
Let me live, hallelujah! Amen…
Ooh , ooh , ooh!
Oh you ludicrous lover
You are a sister and a brother
Unlike any other…
Swing, swing and bring me to my knees
Bring, bring me to my solace please
Please, please won’t you feel the blessed breeze
It’s a wicked wind at ease
Swing, swing and bring me to my knees
Bring, bring me to my solace please
Please, please won’t you feel the blessed breeze
It’s a wicked wind at ease!…
Ooh, ooh, oooooh!
Mmm mmm mmm…
You know you’re out of luck
When you hear the carbage truck
At 6 o clock in the morning,
with a new day barely dawning.
That sound of metal churning
Sets your tired brain cells turning
Why is it you feel ill at ease
Before Christmas festivities?
Then with a bolt you sit upright
You know what you forgot last night
It’s already bursting at the seams
And now it’s shattering your dreams.
Jump out of bed, scantily clad ,
This is your only job as Dad ,
You cannot let the family down,
So grab your paisley dressing gown.
Fly down the stairs and grab the key
Look for your slippers frantically
For you can only contemplate,
That sure and certain deadly fate,
That will befall you should you fail,
(And all the Christmas plans derail),
Because you did not remember,
For that one time in December,
That the refuse bin collection day
Has now moved to a Saturday.
The dog, in canine style reflection,
Wonders why a simple bin collection
Can cause this human agitation,
Stress and clearly consternation?
A dog though, does not understand
That the blue bin is already crammed
With paper, plastic, card and tin
And cannot fit any more therein.
So keep the date and don’t forget
Or you will soon live to regret
The bin is full, you missed the boat,
So please just make a mental note !
There is an addiction to being accepted
We all fall victim with the lies we tell
The skeletons we hide
This dopamine hit is what we crave
It dictates our every move
Every pawn is different
It's that drug we crave to fix it
To make you see all the more when there is really less
Could be a trauma could be a need to be important
Could be the need to escape
We all portray something different in every place we are
With every hat we wear a different complextion of who we are
We all create the fixations the way we handle this drug
How authentic we are or how scared we really are
This addiction becomes a mask a place to hide
Its the truth in all our lies
Many of you may disagree
But do many of us really know who the other person is
In a world dominated by technogly
How do we grow out of this need to make ourselves look more perfect then we are
This social media drug that makes us feel perfectly at ease
The tik toks of today make it so easy to be blinded
The facebooks of tomorrow promise a story
But whose story is really being told.
As i contemplate these thoughts
I'll post another update of how my life is truly not.
A show for you all to bask in a made up imagination of a broken child do to the addiction of being accepted
When the wind blow and chaos are done,
All doubts, ill at ease grow in the night,
And when will its strength be gone?
To finally let silence embed the night.
Through the trees and over the mountains
The sounds of the wind will come to an end.
Maybe bring a tremor by shaking leaves,
When silence, at last, replace the wind.
The peace Godsend means everything,
To have on Earth that kind of solitude,
In ourselves no matter what is happening
With justice of deeds to find good.
Patience of serenity is kind and sweet
In our spirit, we have been there,
So I will look once more before I speak.
About where I am going to be next year.
If we hope, some wind brings better days
Yours and mine, be refine in heart and soul,
Love is missing before we went our ways,
The world is worse now and out of control.

The Weight of Time
Experiences fall like snow flakes
Full and soft, floating down to settle gently
Building up in layers, forming drifts
And, with the weight of time,
Ice in glaciers and massive shields
That smother the ground
And eventually work their way to the sea
To form blocks of experience
That then float away.
Sunlight illuminates their inner being
Releasing memories all packed together
In sights and sounds, smells and feelings
Faces and words, thoughts and dreams
Hidden beneath a surface
In unfathomable depths
Each bonded with other moments
Supporting and sustaining
the notion of a whole
Greater than the parts.
Each of us exist like this
Bergs of distinct memory and identity
Adrift and at ease
Subject to the flow of tides and currents
Beyond our control or comprehension
Subject of the ever falling snow
Full and soft, floating down to settle gently
In layer upon layer
Condensing into something more
Under the weight of time.
