Peace, Acceptance and Love

You held me with hope in mind
You gave me light when I was blind
You gave me home when I was lost, oh so lost
You gave me love when I needed it the most

You held me with peace in heart from the very start
You gave me might when I was weak and tearing apart
I walked my lonesome road
You are my lovely abode
I was fading away until you gave me significant meaning in life
I was hanging by a thread and you saved me from the knife

You accept me cheerfully
You embraced my descending emotions remarkably
You reject callous negativity
Your spirit will always remain ascending for an eternity

Sincere music is in my brain once more and there's hope in store
Enthusiastic, therapeutic happiness makes me miraculously soar
There's a sunrise in your eyes
There's a hello above the goodbyes
Peace, acceptance and love holds me tight
Every day and night
Every day and night
You make me take fantastic flight

You gave me a sweet present of peace
You give me bravery to lift up my feet at ease
You save me with Your loving grace from the sea of sorrow
You gave me tomorrow's sunlit sky and a smile to borrow

I can't deny Your ardent acceptance of who I am
Sundrenched solitude leaves me feeling joyous and breathless
Happiness and Your deliverance is a broken dam
That releases many waters of blissfulness unto lands of gladness

You held me with hope in mind
From on high
From on high
