Born to a Catholic family
Each Sunday spent kneeling in pews
Taught to accept Christ as my savior
And that Hell is for those that refuse.
As I grew older, I wondered
How good people of different beliefs.
Could be destined to spend eternity
With adulterers, murderers, and thieves.
I learned more and more of our history
It defied my indoctrination.
Through Papal Indulgence to bloody crusades
I was given my own revelation
People, by the book's definition
Are sinners, and each is flawed
Yet somehow. we hold expectations
That we've passed down the true word of God
So I can no longer walk blindly
For in my soul, I have realized
That faith can be found in every heart
And it needn't be organized.
:For If you build it they will misuse it contest
He was a hero (not)
Infinite frigid cool-frozen cold subzero
A circle infinite ero
Resting on a pillow
Nestled in asleep in the willow
Mouth wide open, open curtains
Has a guest, not his wife and let
He rose,
She rose
Not a Godly man
Steppin out, and (just got caught)
Now label both them just wearin a sheet
Standin on their feet
in vitro-vitro
Not a good righteous couple neither one of them
Mine hero they’re just zeros
This couple of adulterers no heroes

Last night I dreamt of them
Fleeing under the cover of darkness
Liars, adulterers, murderers and thieves
Terrified of the monsters on their heels
They flew into an abandoned house and began pushing old furniture against the flimsy door
When the glass windows shattered and there was a lound bang
An eerie voice cackled and another one sang
Petrified, they turned to look at one another
When they were interrupted by a muffled scream followed by a deep shudder
One of them fell on the hardwood floor
They watched in horror as his hand turn into a freaky animal claw
Shards of broken mirror flew into the air
Into their eyes and into their hair
Every reflection they saw turned into another scream
Pinches! This was reality not some dream
The front door broke into a thousand pieces
Then came a volley of a stink of faeces
When the police arrived they found nobody there
Rumours flew and people said they were killed by a deadly grizzly bear
Three years later the forensic team reopened the case
Other tips from the public led the police to a futile chase
A forensic expert went back to the house and found a single hair
In the lab, she used a pair of tweezers to inspect the strange looking hair
In that moment a strong desire came over her
To touch the thick strand of hair with her bare hand
She felt one pinprick and turned into quicksand.

Headlines are all about the Sussexes and royal Palace news
I hurry past them because I don't care about their issues
Seems to be about betrayal, and which side will win out
Too much attention is paid to them, their money and clout
Everyone has an opinion, and if you differ that's alright,
There's so much more than we know about their plight.
I have no respect Camilla or Charles, adulterers, the pair
It's awful that Harry's long been referred to as the 'spare'
It'd probably be best for everyone if Harry would let it go
I understand, maybe not, the road the Sussexes had to tow
If I chose a side, it would be Megan and ginger-haired Harry
Maybe it's true the Royal family didn't want them to marry.
It could be that race played a role in many of their troubles
That's for them to work out while living in privileged bubbles.
It might be true, I don't know, what tabloids have written
but it seems the young prince and his bride are truly smitten.
It's big news on both sides of the pond now that they moved.
We have our own dissension now that McCarthy's approved.
It was a literal fight for him to become Speaker of the House
He sold his soul for the position, which makes him a louse.
Kissed the ring of Trump after calling him guilty of treason,
There lies the mark of a politician...selfish beyond reason.
I'm so sick of hearing about Donald running again in 2024
Vengeance he seeks against those who oppose his civil war.
I don't buy newspapers or read tabloid gossip magazines
Don't care about royal princes, or their kings and queens
but Americans need leaders who'll uphold our Democracy,
not ones whose bureaucratic words reek with hypocrisy.
Hello. My name is Nicholas, and you can call me Nick. I also must tell you about Matthew, and you can call him Mat. I once despised Mat and others like him, but now he has become my best friend. I am the Pharisee and Nick is the Publican about whom Jesus gave a parable. There was an occasion when Mat and I went to the temple to pray at the same time. I'm sure you would agree that my thanksgiving prayer left no doubt about what I was most grateful for. My prayer described a 'righteous' person who despised others unlike himself. I was thankful for that. Jesus used me as a perfect example of a person who is 'thankfully righteous' in his own eyes and with those same eyes, look down on other people.
Listen if you will to a short prayer I once prayed that I would never utter again because my life has been completely changed. "OH GOD, I THANK YOU that I am not like other people-robbers, crooks, adulterers, or, heaven forbid, like this tax man. I fast twice a week and tithe on all my income. Now, listen to Mat's prayer. He had no pride nor anything to boast about. "God, give mercy. Forgive me, a sinner." *
It was as if I had a Thanksgiving Holiday Spread filled with everything for my personal satisfaction. i.e. I had an overflowing POT of "I'm not like other people". I had a larger than normal BOWL of "I fast two times a week". I had a commercial-sized PAN of "I give tithes of all I possess". I had a big PLATTER of "I am a just man". I had a PLATE full of "I'm faithful to my wife". My dining table was overflowing with things I feasted on. I was full of it; full of myself. Yet, after feasting on all that I had, I was still hungry and empty, unjustified, abased, and unacceptable by God. On the other hand, the tax collector came hungry and empty but left filled, fulfilled, forgiven, and justified by God.
I later met Jesus and became born again. Now, I despise none and love everyone. And now, like my best friend Mat, I know how to pray, and I understand the true meaning of Thanksgiving.

It takes a lot of nerve to admit to your sins
But facing everyone after they know the truth
That your heart has left you with feelings for
Someone other than the one who you were with
Giving into the passions that make you a sinner
Leaves you playing with desires that ignite fires
Of yearnings within the heart and spirit where
God only knows you’ve tried to remain repelled
By the evils that will find you out and force you
To admit to the wrongs that surface in the heart
Who desires more than a mere touch, but more
So very much passion that feels so inflamed it
Attracts the depths of the soul to grow tangled
Into the union of two who hold onto the needs
That prevent them from being absolutely honest
Without immorality or indulgence into any sin
Adultery is a wrong that discovers the sinner’s
Deepest thoughts and strengthens the ones
Who long to find the courage to let go of the
Dance of deception found out by the adulterers
It takes courage, though, to finally let it all go!

Seeker
I searched long and far
for a good man
a kind and Holy man
One who was not consumed
by wealth
position
power
or lust
I wished to meet
a compassionate
loving
selfless man
Who was
Fearless
Bold
Yet slow to anger
Instead
I found
scared feeble men
Who had not kept their vows
They were liars and adulterers
Covetous and weak
In each of their limitations
I recognized
My own failures
My ego
My appetites
My selfishness
and so I felt ashamed
I cried to God
Are there no good men?
God comforted me
Revealing the true nature of man
Their kindness
Their Love
Their Loyalty
Their striving
Their beauty
God Removed my shame
For that was what separated us
Shame prevented me from
Seeing
Knowing and being
a good man
Then behold
my blind eyes became clear
I could see
Good men
Kind men
Both Holy and flawed men
As I looked into their eyes
I knew there was hope
And I thanked God

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Who is left?
We are all subjects of mankind—
so let’s be kind and let us be by love defined—I Am Anaya
All Around The World
So why is it they can’t just see that: Differences shouldn’t be hated
Popes change dogma continually, Leviticus Bible verse should be updated
The revelation comes too late, and yes, it is belated
Unrighteous we are, why torment gay men and women, everyone’s unclean
and so you have it, anything else is contrary to sound doctrine,
In a sense, if you look about at the lout, ordinary men are just as obscene
Heterosexuals have shown us just how perverted they too can be
Easy to be lured into a night of dishonorable passions, a themed orgy
Unashamed, receive you will a due penalty, and remember the trilogy
Too many homosexuals living all around the world today
We know the facts, it is hard to come out, and no one chooses to be gay,
Some find out at age ten, he made no choice, never has it worked that way
To have a hatred so strong isn’t natural, it seems its rather what you seek
What makes any sense at all is that being different doesn’t make you week
What labels a freak, but God made us misguided, different, and meek
A mother knows her son is gay
She watched that he had grown up in his flamboyant way
Not a random whim conjured up one day
A heterosexual’s testimony is clear:
A teacher’s council and kind patience bolstered Rob’s resolve
To overcome youthful woes and nightmarish troubles solve
His humanity may have saved Rob’s life. His memory he holds dear
But whenever the name Mister James arose
Other kids just called him q****
Whatever kind of group it is you’re in
Just because they are different from you, but both same to sin
No one here will win or lose, all will end. And if so be it, once more begin.
An eyes abated with tears
More than what the heart
can bears
A soul dashed in the
darkest shadow
Leaving no hope of a better
tomorrow
Pains of a broken heart
Happiness and human
have been set apart
A world full of terrors and
fear
That's all what the soul can
hear
Traces of a forgotten smile
a smile that didn't get to
last for a while
a battlefield full of shaded
blood
and the land polluted with
innocent blood
Storms of trouble and
tribulations
Pains of tarnished
reputations
Tears of shattered dreams
History of awful beams
Love now dines with hate
Destiny now left in the
hands of fate
Cries of heartbreaks and
betrayer
Tears of afflicted pain by
adulterers
Empty street full of closed
doors
Food that's never sufficient
for the poor
World full of famished
creatures
That blesses one with pains
and tortures
People that will make you
go through hell
Even when you mean to do
well
Tears of disappointment
and frustration
Traces of lost affection
That's all what you will find
in a world without GOD in it
Even when there are so
many pleasures inside it
Your misery can never be
forgotten
and your pain can never be
hidden
Emptiness of a broken
heart is what you will feel
and the aching of a
bleeding kneel
The only option is to hold-
out to GOD's helpful hand
For you to have a rest
assured mind
Cos he alone can heal your
broken heart
and give your soul a chance
of a rebirth
it's usually early
as day starts turning
over
when the air around is as heavy as
seas
in your chest
feelings are intermixed
between despair
and hope
like the sea
when your odds are in a bottle,
scribbled futilities tossed to the waves,
exit on the backside
of tides
until they resurface
with old whale stench
one out of water
tanning
under a hard sun
doves cry
in the shade
of mahogany trees
between noon and three
when my mother's mother's
roundabout
nonsense
lyrics
"Moses speak_God's word
Isaac too"
come fresh
to me
the doleful
doves
portend cardinality
begging adulterers
to repentance
"Feathery Prophets!"
grandmothers had spoken
that death will walk
into this village,
some house, any hour,
more sure than May rain,
taking stock
and mourners...
and choirs...
and pastors preach
and pray you well
while you sleep
later we'll all fall asleep
