WHEN ALL THE WORLD'S AT SLUMBER

When I am up, the whole world snores.
No-one dares to stir.
Seems that I am the only one
To have escaped this sleeping
World.!

No hustle-bustle in the air,
I breathe in the silence deep.
While friends Ignore my restless calls...
I can't go back to sleep.

I ponder as I re-run the movie
That's reviewing my life in scores,
Thoughts of today's activities turn,
While the rest of the world still snores!
When it gets to the highlighted
parts
I call some friends to share;
Excited to tell them about the
memories in my head.

Yes, I Sigh because the worlds at slumber
and no-one cares to speak.
So, all plans and future adventures...
I carry off with me back to sleep.!

I will cultivate my ambitions further
I am never shallow; As always, l am deep!

Somehow, I smile and thank the Lord...
For the sweet dreams in my head.!
I'll rest now and carry on;
Plan the new day that’s ahead.!

Thankful to my creator that
I didn't wake up dead.!

And tomorrow again I will rise up
to create more beautiful things.!
So, I'll leave all of you who slumber
To go back to your dreams.

And if you've awakened to emptiness _
and have held no dreams of your own
"I'll leave you so inspired
to wake up to this poem."!

Premium Member With Myself and Me

The number of my Destiny is 7.
Solitary Seven it is sometimes called.
My birth path number 5 is fun and sociable,
but honestly, I love to be alone!
Alone I read my books,
alone I write my poems,
and alone I watch the movies I adore.

I love the company of family and friends,
but since my siblings all live far from me
and my own two kids are off and on their own,
and since my friends are mostly all online,
and the people that surround me at my workplace and at church
are mere acquaintances, busy with their own families,
it's by myself I usually can be found.

It's like that time I spent on my first cruise
paid for by my husband's mother to accompany her grown daughter,
a person with whom I share no common interests.
Instead of going with me to attend the talent shows,
the many ship activities like games and competitions
or enjoying karaoke, she was often off alone herself!
Meanwhile I just blended in with all the crowd -
laughing with the members of the cruise,
watching them all dance
(I must admit I longed to have a partner then),
but all in all, I much enjoyed it all even though I mostly was alone.

I have no problem seeing movies by myself.
At matinees I'm sometimes the only person there.
I put my feet up; no one's there to care!
Frugal, I rarely go out to eat.
My husband is so quiet, the few times we eat out,
it would not make much difference
whether he was there with me or not!
I have no friends with whom I go to classes at the gym,
but I am there to exercise, not socialize.
I'm content to have just the right amount of social interaction
every morning when I'm teaching at the school.

Yes, I am a solitary sort. It's always been this way.
In my childhood, alone I read upon my bed
while downstairs my siblings liked to play.
At times I joined in with them. In school I cherished friends
and hung out very often with my pals,
but in the end. . . .
I find enjoyment in many things,
and many of the things I most enjoy
I do quite comfortably
with myself and me!

CAKE DAY

It's my nephew's birthday
Kendrick by name to be precise
I feel excited and rejuvenated
His birth ignited my burning desire
Awakening my soul
Shifting my perspectives
Shedding old beliefs
He turned 1 year old today.

I admires his attributes
He smiles so bright
Naturally endowed with creativities
I wow and bow
"Whenever I watch his activities"
He's happy and optimistic
A wondrous baby, wunderkind I think.

He's differ but special, very unique.
Even at a very tender age,
He does and give what none can't
Get to know him and you'll see it's true
Wishing him a magnificent birthday
I pray his days on earth be glorious just as he's.
Happy womb escape day my amiable and affable nephew.

Daddy, Where Do Unicorns Come From

Well son...

It all began in Fairyland
In the lab of the mystical toads
As trash throughout the land had gotten way out of hand
Along side of the pixie dust roads

The system they had wasn't working
Leaving empty all the garbage cans
And everyone of the Fairies backs were hurting
Bending over picking all of the trash

In an off the wall guess Teddy Toad thought of this
Something the Fairies all liked
A horn on a horse as a matter of course
Then the trash men could go along for the ride

So they took a horse and Duct taped a horn
Cause we all know Duct tape works wonders
But it never fit right in its slip and its slide
In the taping of over and under

Science soon prevailed in the cell from the horn of a cow
Mixing it up with one from a horse
Purely by accident they just happened to chance
Upon what is now the Unicorn

Who's very first job was giving litter a nod
In helping to keep the streets clean
But before too long the Unicorn evolved
In the preforming of different activities

From the up turn of nose in sneezing rainbows
In the prettiest of sunny weather
To giving kids rides as they grew wings to fly
The ones mixed with birds of a feather

Or the burping of clouds when they opened their mouths
That only know how to rain Skittles
That sometimes floods the streets in candy knee deep
Running sugar sweet straight down the middle

So if you're ever confused on how Unicorns were first used
Or had any doubt to how they came about
You can set your mind at ease
You now know they were created because Fairies all hated
Bending over picking trash off the streets

Goodnight son, sweet dreams...

Mundanity Doth Not Mean Unfulfilling

Though predictability prevails
     pertaining to my life,

by thee above arbitrary fictitious ordeal
figuratively hypothetical measures,

this generic guy, viz zero
     less exciting even eating oatmeal
     as resultant measurement,
cuz his feeble minuscule variation,
     thinner than lean gruel

     as plea whisking me

Acrostic On Divine Child School

Divine Child School – an eyesore
In Mehsana for many schools – sopor.
Vital in activities from a long yore
In the field of academics – never at war
Nor in politics or in legislation or in moor.
Earlier to handle any issue or four;
Challenging all as holistic developer
Hoping best with Sanket and other
In bringing up the best out of poor.
Leading path of values in senator
During the school and is savior.
Such legacy produced stars in galore
Coving the cosmos, can you ignore?
Honest, candid and authentic stentor
Out in Gujarat or India therefore
Oh! Respect it, admire it, esteem or
Leave it and touch it not anymore.

Premium Member Devoid of Autumn Yet Full of Fall Adventures (DHR)

Autumn in our country occurs from September to November,
                    offering cooler temperatures, reduced rainfall,
and unique natural scenery, making it an ideal time
for outdoor endeavours and travel pursuits.

Though devoid of actual genuine Fall’s enrichment
I thank the Lord for His rich blessings’ best
in my country’s two-season fulfillment
where He offers me sweet peace and bliss’ nest.

Fall in our place offers a unique blend of natural beauty,
cultural experiences, and seasonal activities. Indeed, the Season's
attributes prove such: slightly cooler in the mornings, clearer light
for photos, and a rhythm that makes journeying feel smoother.

Though I yearn for Autum's crisp, chilly breeze
wafting scent of serenity thrill and blissful cheer
my soul is settled, thankful for tropical climate
offering fellowship warmth and faith ardor these rainy days
vanquishing oppressive blows of humidity.

In our Fall calendar in the Tropics, here are "Autumnless" offerings to enjoy:
lagoon paddling and island tours that include swimming stops and calmer bays,
boat day plans with time for a proper beach lunch, not just a snack,
markets for fresh fruit and simple souvenirs that feel personal,
sunset viewpoints where friends can talk, laugh, and take photos without rushing.

Hence, in my “Autumnless” exposure state
I find serenity of faith-prop in Christ’s warm embrace
lifting me when I fall, drawing me toward fellowship date
revived for reaching-out pursuits with His love and grace.
