Premium MemberThe Mirage of Promise

The well is dry, but their tongues still plead,
Cracked lips shaping prayers the gods will not heed.
The land rots in surplus, a kingdom of waste,
Where hunger is measured and profit is praised.

They crawl to the mirage, ribs piercing their skin,
Eyes full of water that won’t let them in.
Gold liquefies, flesh withers to dust,
The towers loom silent—monuments to rust.

The promises of tomorrow curdle and fade,
A banquet of shadows, a debt never paid.
Yet still, they crawl, they bleed,
Swallowed by silence as the gods watch them feed.

States of the Soul

I boil my feeling for you
      Freezes my suffering for you
        Thus liquefies my illusion

Premium MemberA Pink And Blue Sky

Dawn pierces the dark at first light
as flocks of mourning doves take flight.
And though sullied skies seem so stark:
at first light, Dawn pierces the dark.

Sol liquefies like molten gold
that's incredible to behold.
For just as the sun starts to rise,
like molten gold, Sol liquefies.

Darkness flees into the shadows,
like a merging murder of crows.
And as birds abandon the trees;
into the shadows; darkness flees.

Colors intensify with light
as sunlight supersedes moonlight.
And inking a pink and blue sky
with light, colors intensify.

Premium MemberA Poet's Heart And Soul

In the sheltered shadows of dreams:
boundaries and limitations are nonexistent.
Imagination liquefies the ebony of space,
as sleeping spirits swim amongst the stars.
And immersed in a sea of quietude,
Silence suppresses sound,
amplifying the murmurs of muffled thoughts.
And your pen leaks ink, leaving a trail
of dribbles down the face of time
that lands upon a thought,
somewhere in your subconscious mind.
Dodging distractions,
and avoiding the perils of indifference;
feelings freed from reality,
soon start to roam.
And a plethora of poetic musings
morph into verses and stanzas;
as vowels and consonants stand shoulder to shoulder
culminating in groupings of witty words.
And suddenly awake, an outpouring
of creativity and talent
that your muse gleaned from your heart and soul;
bleeds onto the page, and a poem takes form.

Damage

I tell you that love happened first,
In order
In that order— which is to be opened,
Flayed the heart that at first flinched
When the soul would blench at the sound of your voice
That once was love, turned destroyer,
You ask me if it was the chicken or the egg?
I can’t say, I know my heart quivering beating jelly pulpy thing
Would bet on the egg.
I know that heart then liquefies and pours itself out in a massive
torrential hemorrhage
Painting the pathway crimson
Congeals reconstitutes and reassembles into bricks,
That creates a wall that I place neatly back in my chest.

Premium MemberSecond Advent

The wicked souls like gasoline light up
Afire without remorse sorrow and heat
As if Hiroshima Nagasaki
In bright atomic pillars of fire burn
Unquenched like a mad lunatic bonfire
The judged the condemned the damned all around
Without mercy are swallowed engulfed by
The supernatural fates and their white-hot
Enraged furies as if to disgrace men
And fallen angels at war against earth
As gamma-rays consume their calcified
Bones they cannot withstand resist before
Megiddo's Jesus Christ whose burning light
Flash-cooks their soft moist fleshy tongues in
Their mouths like steaks as the sight of him melts
And liquefies their eyeballs into ooze
In their sockets as heads and scalps ablaze
With radioactive fire's decay and heat
Whilst ashen clothes like death's sackcloth robes fall
From rude and roasting flesh such that even
Thews sinews ligaments and tendons of
Flesh melt in the wrath of the Next Advent
Until they are gently slain by his love
Without forgiveness hope or the grace of
Redemption and salvation and are thrown
Into the lake of fire forever where
The damned are “weeping and gnashing of teeth!”

Eternal Love

I have been knowing you for a brief timeframe,
Yet, I believe I will recollect you for eternity.
As your delicate touch,
Makes me shudder with satisfaction.
I can feel your hand taking mine,
As I need you to hold it until the end of time.
At the point when you are close to me,
I sparkle with satisfaction.
I need you now and your affection,
As I need to remain with you for eternity.
At the point when I am in your caring arms,
My knees begin getting frail.
Everlastingly in your arms,
I love to remain there.
Each time when you kiss me,
My body liquefies down.
I can feel your lips on mine,
As we continue kissing for eternity.
Each heart beat of mine,
Measures the amount you give it a second thought.
Realizing that it is a great deal more,
Love me, for eternity!

Premium MemberTaste and See How Good the Lord Is

Struggles ebb and flow like the ocean tides.
They wane and wax like the glorious moon;
Deliberately devours the psyche, if allowed
There is truth to be known, worth more than gold…
We are not Masters of our destiny; we are not in control.

The day of discovery comes; when we’re lost at sea
When panic overrides the mind and the brain liquefies;
Caught in a rip tide, seized; and should we fight, we’d lose
We resign to God’s will; andare carried towards the shore
The lesson learned...it’s not by our own strength that we live
~*~

Psalm 34:8…”O Taste and see how good the Lord is;
blessed is the man who trusts in him”.

Heavenly Love

Heart of stone has turned to light,
as I crave that touch when I wake from night.
Visions alone make me quiver,
but the flesh on flesh surely deliver.
Consuming his breath as my own,
liquefies within down to the bone.
Intense heat radiates from the inside out,
this is what love is truly about.
The flames that blaze through his eyes,
never looking away with a bond that ties.
A bond so strong we beat as one,
pulsates an aura bright as the sun.
Clocks tick no more as time stands still.
Resist no more, heavenly love fulfilled!

So Much For Chores

The kitchen radio rumbles heavy drumbeat,

outside, rain pecks out its staccato

on the porch.

Stirring fragrant coffee,

I ponder doing dishes, starting laundry,

pause to glance at him.

Across from me,

his eye-crinkling smile

liquefies all my resolve.

Oh, listen

to that insistent rain

ans heartbeats drumming.

Mr. Meticulous

Using drill-sergeant precision,
the tank rolls through the lab
brimming spastic with drive
expedient to mine approval,
displaying can-do gusto
capable of fawning
up the ladder.

Beneath the hood, he charges
headlong into the viral putty
that liquefies somber knees
before hailing forgiveness
for hampering the fiber
set by vast divinity
never denied.

Decades of genetic sampling
present many puzzle-pieces
for breaking down strength
of code at a cellular level,
like dominoes in a line,
until life's sequence
gets plucked.

The equipment confirms the
databanks stirring premises
of scarred protein markers
and aggressive mitosis, a
triumphant emergence
of a newly patented
corporate life.
