Dawn pierces the dark at first light
as flocks of mourning doves take flight.
And though sullied skies seem so stark:
at first light, Dawn pierces the dark.
Sol liquefies like molten gold:
it's incredible to behold.
For just as the sun starts to rise,
like molten gold; Sol liquefies.
Darkness flees into the shadows,
like a merging murder of crows.
And as birds abandon the trees;
into the shadows; darkness flees.
Colors intensify with light
as sunlight supersedes moonlight.
And inking a pink and blue sky
with light, colors intensify.
