Alone and floppy with nothing to wear
Silently, I left you there
But I wish I never had
The marks of lifesaving staining your skin
I couldn’t dress you one last time
But I wish that I had
I saw you again, just once more
In your birthday dress
That you were too young to wear
I left you there
In that cold white room, then in that small white box
But I wish I never had

I am sorry
like the days and nights of our lives
those having to witness
human hunger, discrimination,
injustice and oppression.
I am sorry
like all the rivers of the world
those giving lifesaving water
intakes our poison.
I am sorry
like the sky, wind, forests, and the mountains
they help us breathe, but in return,
we are choking them.
I am sorry
like all the other living things on earth
and in the seas
for their service to mankind
they receive betrayal and extinction.
I am sorry
like all our holy scriptures
we stain their page after page of peace
with the blood of our violence.
I am sorry
like the earth and the heavens
whose greatest human race
failed to fly yet a true flag of peace
for all the nations of the world.

While looking for ways to make cash.
I got an idea from my smart wifey Ash.
She learned of donating my plasma.
Which might make meds for asthma.
So looking into it I really was a skeptic.
Wanted to avoid risks of seeing a medic.
But I learned I keep most of my red cells.
The places are clean without odd smells.
So I gave it a shot and got screened.
My confidence in this was redeemed.
No one felt the needles and screamed.
It wasn’t as sketchy as it first seemed.
People here appear calm and relaxed.
Not coming across emotionally taxed.
We clenched fists to help machines pump.
Giving a lifesaving plasma supply a bump.
These phlebotomists are a friendly group.
The local CSL team operates like a troop.
Making the process as smooth as can be.
Donating is a relaxing experience for me.
The cash covers a few expenses these days. And soending a few hours here weekly pays.
If you can give blood this is a better option.
But only for those who follow their caution.
So check out your CSL to see for yourself.
If your donation experience feels top shelf.

You speak ambiguous as if a metaphor with a double meaning,
creating sights and sounds closely matching yet differently.
As if a the sun were in your smile or a fire burning in your soul,
our love is a match that has been struck upon the flint of our hearts.
With eyes reaching deeply into my core as if passing through,
the earth mantel with hot lava flowing and building into a volcanic explosion.
This timeless clock makes our life spin by as our earths are turning,
creating a violent storm with ocean waves feeling your yearning.
You have cast a reel connect to a spell, bated it with love and hooked me,
placing your sails upon me, guiding me with a rudder, steering me with love.
I was overboard and you threw me your lifesaving circle around me,
landing on our tropical paradise as you guide me with your tender love.
As the coastguard fly’s over our signal fire is seen loud and clear,
everyone will know you have saved me from this life of loneliness.
Giving me strength to go on no longer lost with emptiness or forgone
Completing this circle of life and meeting in the middle then connecting
Our hearts and souls

We have a big problem, that is always heightening
and this has become, everyone’s enlightening
We all must do, so much more recycling
because if we don’t, the result will be terrifying
We humans, are destroying our life source
Mother Nature, that supplies our resources
so we all must become, a very big driving force
to recycle and reuse everything, with a stable taskforce
This must be everyone’s, sustainable life cycle
so that we can produce, a healthy food cycle
and a lifesaving, carbon and nitrogen recycle
which is very vital, for all lives vital survival
Let’s get on our bikes, and do a lot of cycling
and make sure, that this is our main course
so that all life, can keep on riding
to make sure, we don’t lose our life source

None speaks louder then the Lord
Cast not your fears upon man
For he is the ruler of this world
I cannot put myself above him
I cannot rule this world
I cannot and do not have his power
Thus, He is the ruler of our world
Thus, He is the savor of this world
Thus, He is our God

It’s been three weeks
since I was in the grocery store,
and an emptiness weighs,
as if I’d lost a friend.
The government issued orders
for people like me,
calling it “social distancing.”
“Stay home,” they say.
Going to a place containing what I need--
things like crumbled feta cheese,
or low sodium pasta sauce,
is like being with a trusted companion.
Greeting cashiers by name
makes each spree a social event,
as well as a lifesaving one
that refills the pantry.
My last visit began with an App,
where I selected what I wanted,
and ended when a stranger
put bags into the back of my car.
My larder might be full,
but my heart feels empty--
deprived of its weekly ritual
of hunting and gathering with friends.

If the church is a hospital,
does it have an emergency room?
Can the person with a spiritual heart attack,
get a lifesaving response?
If the church is a hospital,
is there a psych ward for the mentally ill?
Are there crayons for the scitzo to draw on the walls?
If the church is a hospital,
is there an X-ray room for broken bones?
Does it provide chemo therapy for the cancer patient?
Is there a recovery room for the alcoholic struggling to stay dry?
If the church is a hospital,
is the pharmacy always open?
IF the church is a shelter,
Does it have blankets on the beds?
Does it have a teddy bear?
Are there toys a plenty
for the boys and girls to share?
IF the church is a shelter,
does it have a home like vibe?
Or is it a cold white waiting room?
If the church is a shelter,
does it have a warm fire place?
Does a picture of Jesus
hang as a painting on the wall?
Is there a nurse on staff if I fall?
If the church was more of a treatment center,
and did not have a big X over sin...
I would find a guide indeed.
But maybe I might actually be
the helping hand someone needs.

I ate a cake in order to stay up late
Seeing that I stayed up late, I ate a cake
So, my darling pursued me with a broom
Livid, she chased me all around the room
She was taking this to the extreme. Make no mistake
We are talking about all the pieces of the cake
I tried apologizing. The timing was too soon
My body is suffering from a serious wound
"But Cupcake, I know how to make another cake”
With big tears in her eyes, that was my lifesaving break
I urged her, "Dear, could we now get a hospital room?"
"But wait, I will have my cake. Let's perform a handshake"
I crossed my fingers. Because, I would become immune
I will bake a cake or purchase one. Make no mistake
I’m like a raccoon eager for the next opportune

I shiver in the mist created by the waves
Crashing on the rocks by the shore
The wind carries the water through the air
Into my pores,
creating those goose pimples
The light shining brightly envelopes me
I stand there in awe of its glory
The lighthouse beams with pride its strength
In its story,
lifting by the light simple
Even though storms come, raging in strong
Nothing seems to deter the lighthouse
It’s power still is within its light rotating
Just a douse,
of dominance never crimpled
Though we come and go--all around the bay
It never deviates from its strong post
Lifesaving light, which moves each night
Like most,
by this light emitting temple

A new wind blows from Korea to Tanzania,
the same wind blew from Antioch to Berea
A fresh breeze grace the Peruvian air,
that same fragrance wafted
through ancient Rome's main thoroughfare
Oh my Lord,
the sweet smell of the gospel is everywhere
In every generation,
its wonderful aroma abides there
That lifesaving scent is heavenly to inhale;
breathe it in deeply,
it'll make your soul recover well

Victory Scar
That long line still shows.
Thirty years a part of me;
precancer they said.
Hysterectomy so young;
lifesaving victory scar.

(for all asthmatic patients)
The heart is the engine
Of the body
The flesh is the bonnet
Over the engine
The blood is the oil
That is lifesaving
Your hormones are the bus stops
Over that bumpy road
That is: life.
Your heart is the centre of your body
Your nose gave you over
And handed you to the grip of dust and soot
Your lungs are the straws to refreshment:
Life without pain.
Life without pain awaits you
It is on the next bus stop for you to encounter
Take heart...
I feel your pain

A flower rejects the chill of winter's icy constrain
to bathe in harmony with the heavenly spring rain
A princely frog on his lily pad chains
awaits his mate and descent of fertile spring rains
A sly fox trying to survive his hunger pains
cunningly awaits the lifesaving spring rain
A farmers precious crop would be sown in vain
without the arrival of blessed spring rain
When harsh winters leave us desolate and drained
we embrace in the bosom of the rejuvenating spring rain

From the deep depths of bleak and somber dreams
Those with grey roses living within them
There’s painful feelings made inside, it seems
The colors of the sky and the large farm
Beautiful the dream is all but the rose
They seem to be crying, having no charm
Here deep inside the dream the heart arose
Coming to rescue the broken rose bush
Like giving lifesaving drink from a hose
Now all roses turn colors are then lush
Perfect dream fantasies give a sure rush
