Mothers, fathers, and their children,
seldom share the exact same beliefs
No matter what their religion might be,
proving a child's relationship with their god
is no different than with a parent, odd
A youth’s peace of mind, his longing
for his place, a sense of belonging
The road is long, painful, and circuitous
A troubled childhood, school bullies, plague us
Dubious religious sects, false, he is their prey
Unscrupulous mental health professionals,
make the journey seem futile and tear him apart
Finding wisdom, purpose, and sense of belonging
are finally attained from lessons learned and taken to heart.

LIFE'S JOURNEY.
Your travelling along a dusty track this is your life.
Along this track you will stop many times, and meet many people. Each different, and unique. Each one with a story too tell. Each person is on the track at different stages of their journey, some ahead of you, some behind.
When your path's cross it's fate, it's meant to be for that given time and space. You live those minutes, hours, days, weeks, years, and you can never go back, its like the dust on your boot's.
Each new step on the track of life, is a new adventure, a new encounter, a new experince, this makes the journey richer. We gain knowledge and grow in wisdom, we get older and our bodies age, and if we are blessed we live a long life.
At the end of the track we go on another journey. I believe we travel back to where we came from, to the one who made us.

She's haunted by the what ifs,
The why's and what could have been,
She's haunted by mistakes she's made,
That shattered all her dreams.
If only she could reverse time
And go a different way,
Maybe things would be different
Sitting here today.
She knows her worries are futile,
We each have to follow Gods plan,
Lessons had to be learnt,
She had to play her hand.
She tries to live in the here and now,
Forgetting the pain and sorrow,
Enjoy each day as it is given
And live with hope for tomorrow.

Life’s Journey
An adventure begins – a seed plummeted into a liquid pool.
A ripple arises – waves increase, they continue to expand.
They gain girth – they run across the crystalline surface of time.
They absorb much – their journey begins to wane.
They touch the shore – dissipate and are no more.

A part of life’s journey ???
The hours begin to claw at me.
Time slips away, filled not, I see.
To much time on my hands.
In beams, in waves, in bands.
Empty spaces, invisible air.
These games of solitaire.
This game that is now my life.
No girlfriend, no lover, no wife.
Tides ebb, tides flow.
Time ebbs, times go.
Memories remain.
Keeping us sane.
On the turn of a card, life rides.
Behind a mask true life hides.
What is the time and space ?
That has created one’s face.
These masks that some prefer to ware.
Fashioned from scares beyond compare.
Staring back at us from near and far
Hiding !, just what and who they are.
Once again, I seem to be caught up in.
This game of solitaire – my life- such sin.
Cutting through the hours of my life.
Like a dull, old, rusty knife.
Severing all ties with reality.
Creating a world of fantasy.
These words have been written.
Time - the soul they have smitten

Is it not happiness we search for in life?
Finding another we go on looking forever,
Just for a moment to touch you in some way.
Not knowing where life’s journeys may end,
Often I have sought laughter then and again.
To comfort and feel whole, wanting to feel you oh so near.
Blinded by fear I have reached my roads final last stop,
Happiness played against sadness I’m not so sure what I am not.
Yet we always set out on these journeys of trend,
Aimlessly we seem to wonder not sure if there is an answer to all of this at the end
